Three years ago, I had 27 radiation treatments to right breast, chest wall, arm pit! I have shortness of breath and fatigue. I am an RN and the radiologist failed to explain side effects to me. All the way around. Teaching is crucial in my profession. So, I have had some sadness.

Great video, very informative.. what is the black circle in the center? I just got a Ct with contrast done and as dr was showing me, he mumbled something about a vasculature while the circle was showing.. dead center between the lungs in the white area.. I see it throughout these examples

Can I ask, what does "Excellent Opacification of the Pulmonary arteries" mean? It was on my scan when they thought I had a PE, and I don' tknow what that means...lol. I

Oh, P.S., I did not have a pulmonary embolism thank god. Just chostochondritis with very elevated D dimer test which went back to normal on a follow up. The Chostochondritis I still have on and off. If I got htis right, opafificatino is the same thing as attenuation. Because I had CT with contrast, the contrast was showing opacificatino of the pulmonary arteries without any grey area which was read as negative for PE?? The doctor did tell me my lungs were in excellent shape for being asmoker for 30 years, which shocks me too. But still, I am looking for a clear answer to "Excellent opacification of the pulmonary arteries." lol IT drives me nuts when I can't grasp something!!
