So would ground glass be considered cancer or no? My doctor mentioned something about it from a chest cat scan and it wasn't there before. I think they said they would do follow up cat scan but didn't say exactly what it was.

It is a neumonic memory device. It stands for Demographics, Acuity, Location, Pattern, Other Features. It is a way to organize your thoughts about a patients presentation to help develop a differential diagnosis. I credit Sanjeev Bhalla, MD for teaching it to me.
