This phone brings back so much memory. 2003 to 2004 I recall the time we use to go on top of a hill to get service. We were one of the few people to have a phone at that time
For its time it was great but there's no way it's better than any smartphone. Maybe durability wise yes, but fragility is expected from sophisticated hardware.
Back in the days when the phone was such an incredible tool, the gift of remote communication. When someone called, you took it seriously. Was either an emergency or a very valuable time to chat. Makes sense, because when we’re not physically present with people, it is a privilege to be able to speak with them. Now it’s overwhelmingly dead. There’s no context for remote communication anymore. There’s no standard. There’s no difference between when a person is available or not. We all just float in this unregulated pool of instant communication. In those days, if you were in a desperate situation, you had your phone with you to reach out for help. People knew that if someone called you from far away, you should by all means answer the call. Today you could be dying and the person will decide if they feel like answering or carrying on drinking coffee while lying in their couch. It’s so messed up in a sense. Things seemed so in place when we treasured the mobile phone
Her mother's cell phone!! 😢 Sabena I miss you only at that house!! I never knew nothing about sim cards back then, and "unrelated to yellow" before I got to visit I remember that yellow hotrod within the driveway! I think they best part was it wasn't there when I asked about it! No relation and somthing way better
How i wish smart watches are inspired copy of nokia 3310 because its battery last longer and there is a limited functions you can do on smart watches like time and date, fitness and health tracker and read messages, it doesnt need to be flashy with colored and touch screen.
This phone shows how with better technology phones have became worse quality. Specs wise smartphones are the best quality you can get, but material wise, they had to use the best materials back then to make the phone stand out from all the others. Now they use some flimsy materials unless you pay £1000 for a phone or wait 2 years to buy it for £700
