Got the book for Christmas present. Told my family that it was the only gift I wanted. It was available in our local library and I wanted it. Gave me a new insight on how to make a crazy quilt pop. Thank you for giving me all that knowledge.

OK my quilt based on your book is five thicknesses...That is not counting the black velvet I have chosen for the back. I inserted a row of velvet diamonds between two links of hexagons. It is a bit daunting to finish this mammoth quilt. But I am proud of the freedom it allowed me and your book is the perfect inspiration. I would not recommend glue puff paint. And I won't be able to let the quilting machine company to quilt it...there are too many buttons. And the second half..as I said I didn't use the forgiving black triangle row...so the hexagons do not line up. I used a bolt of muslin to begin with. Then I traced the back to give me twice the amount of hexagons. Thank you Jennifer Clousten. Your book is an inspiration.

I always love seeing people using "mixed medium". I feel like it looks messy... I have to put it away for a while because I get so discouraged.
Sometimes I use things, thinking that is so cool but will it work? Am I going on down the road less traveled or just making a mess or covering mistakes lol. Maybe both!

I copied the nine and a half patterns you !provided in the book. HELP How may I begin without an allowance on the basic quilt pattern.. .??? I know there is a simple answer.....
Did you purposely cut the fabric without adding a quarter inch seam allowance? Or just the templates/patterns?

You know, I hate this quilt called crazy. Maybe we should name it something else. It calls for a great deal off precision, a mind that can blend colors, plan images, and do that and a lot of other things for maybe sixty or seventy squares. Crazy, maybe should be reserved for those who make fun of these ladies and gentlemen too, who are so blessed with the extra ordinary talent they possess.
