What I don't understand about the Rock Creek trim is that Nissan already has an off-road trim in the form of the PRO-4X. Why isn't there a Pathfinder PRO-4X? Don't get me wrong, I love the Rock Creek Edition, but I don't get why there isn't a PRO-4X.
SketchMonkey, regarding the regular (non Rock Creek) Pathfinder review that you did, where you said you'd like to see that wiper blade placed on top... What many people calling for the rear windshield wiper to be placed up there don't think of or realize is that, functionally, the upside down "opposite" sweep of the blade then doesn't provide proper coverage and leaves the very most important right rear bottom quarter of the glass unattended to. As the rear hatch glass on many vehicles has gotten smaller (shorter) and along with that smaller / shorter wiper blades--some embarrassingly tiny--for decent coverage I'd actually like to see a return to a double wiper arm assembly like the old Toyota Camry wagons used to have!

Ya know, I bought the 24 Rock Creek this past December. Before I purchased it I went around to audio stores to see if they could upgrade to the Bose for me. No can do. Nissan has this effing stereo system so locked down and integrated into the entire system that it’s impossible to even do an aftermarket upgrade. It was almost a dealbreaker for me but my wife won. Shoot. The stereo system is average for sure. The guy at the audio store said maybe. MAYBE later this year, Nissan may come out with the aftermarket specs. I’m not holding my breath.
Thanks for your post. I'm dissapointed to read the system is bad. Not sure how the portable speaker amp market is, I see the Boks advertised as good and heard a large one that sounded good, but maybe keeping an old battery powered tellefunkin with you could help the ride.
Ive been car shopping for a year. My cars have always been used and 20 years old. I am dissapointed in these ill designed display modules. There were two vehicles that I liked but these screens or the temp controls below them dug into the side of my knee while driving. Also I cannot believe how poor most stadard audio systems are in vehicles costing 30 to 40 thousand dollars. I dont consider 40,000 dollar vehicle affordable. Why im looking at the Creek is the space and the better suspension to deal with the bad roads in my metropolitan area.
I actually would buy one, but the stereo sucks and you can't get the upgraded Bose one in the Rock Creek. The wya they package these things are so weird. This is basically an SV with the Rock Creek stuff,
I have put about 7K on mine and I love it. I'm so happy to have bought it. A recent snow storm confirmed my decision yet again.

Should offer the premium sound system and small sun roof.
I like the back, hope they change the front to have it more rugged looking
I fell in love with the new Rock Creek also...it just NEEDS the VR30DDTT for me.
What happened to the redesign render?
Love mine!

Looks good
"At this price range" like this range wasn't top trim just a few years ago. Pricing has gone insane.

Think that roof rack is good for my rooftop tent
Except the rack is rated to only 200 pounds. 🤔

Respectfully disagree on the radio. I think it sounds great. I came from a Bose that was great, obviously, but not a huge difference to me.
Probably because it looks like a modern day Pontiac Aztec
It does? Ok…..
