They actually did have him in a big water tank for those scenes. He was actually mouthing along to his lines in the water. The crew said that he would stay underwater and just use breathing equipment instead of going to the surface because he wanted it to be perfect. Apparently on one or more of the days he spent pretty much the majority of the day under the water.
Percy knows who Procrustes is because Hermes left them a note on the windshield of his cab, remember? Annabeth reads it aloud "directions to the secret entrance to the Underworld, map in the glove compartment..." As for the end credits, the guy on the throne wearing the crown isn't Zeus but Hades. And to be precise, Hades isn't the god of Death - that's Thanatos (you might remember him from "The Son of Neptune" in the Heroes of Olympus series). Hades is the god of the Underworld. I look forward to your reaction to Episode 8!

The casino in the show is more insidious (kind of like in real life), because if you look at the people walking around inside, they are dressed from different times in US History, indicating that people have been stuck there for decades without realizing it. The parking garage reinforces that, with different vehicles from different decades, as they walk past them.
I love that!! Great costume design. I didn’t even notice the varieties of cars! I really appreciate that attention to detail!
