I also like prickly protagonists struggling with friends 😊 I just read Three Mages and a Margarita, it was such an easy fun read, I am glad I tried Annette Marie because of your reviews ❤

Yet again, your trope/category tastes are reminding me that there is indeed an audience out there (other than myself) for the book I’m trying to write and I need to finish it 😂
Since they’re tropes I obviously like myself, this also makes for a wonderful rec list! Definitely going to have to look into many of these books.

Vorkosigan also has romance without meet cute. I mean Ekaterin doesn't even know she's the love interest and wants to deny it for a whole book and a half. Tej and Ivan keep thinking they're just in a marriage of inconvenience for both of them until the "cave in." And Aral and Cordelia are on opposing sides entirely.

I did this exercice a few years back and it revealed something a bit troubling. Many of my favourite books have cannibalism in common. Fun, right? I swear I'm okay!

    🦩Fun categories! 🤯
Just for fun, how many of those tropes do you see in your OWN life? 📚
