You're supposed to switch the IRS switches directly over to NAV and immediately go down to the FMC to type in the GPS pos. Doing it the way you did works fine, but it makes the process more complicated than it has to be. Do know that this method of aligning is called fast realignment and is not a full IRS alignment. If time allows for it you should always make a full alignment using the method that I said. Also when you're looking at a guarded switch, you do not have to switch it on yourself. Just close the guard and the switch will also turn on. This also means that as long as the guard is down the switch will always be in the on position.

Very straight forward, but I still miss the "why this has to be on/off and what it does", but it still I think it was great. Now I feel more secure to go learn the FMC, apply these rules on the IXEG as well and finally stop a little with the Cessna

Flows vary from airline to airline. As an example the carrier I fly for wants the hydraulic pumps on so any leaks might be detected when the PNF is doing his (or her) walk around. Another example is putting the no smoking sign on until we are told the cabin is secure. As I said, each airline has its preferences.
Hey Micah Love the tutorial. I have a small issue you may be able to help me with. I have done quite a few successful start ups just with your tutorial. The issue I am having is restarting the plane after a successful flight. I follow everything to the letter. But I still get the two DRIVE warning lights showing . Any ideas?

Hi Micah, great videos. When I start to program the FMC, pressing Acars & then Atis Req, I then enter the airport press send and wait a couple of seconds, after this I press Atis but I get a message 'no metar data'. Have I done something wrong? Any ideas please?

Hi, I started following the video step by step but as soon as I try to type something on the FMC (the first entry is the departure ICAO code), nothing happens. I cannot type anything in the keyboard of the FMC. I just can push the different buttons to see the options but no entry is possible. Anyone evere had such issue?
Can anyone help? I have been trying to get zibo 737x to work in xplane11 for months and different problems and bugs keep coming up making xplane impossible to use. I cannot afford £80 for a payware aircraft and zibo seems to be the only solution. At the start of playing plane 11 (mid 2019) it worked perfectly but I didn’t no how to fly I nearly had the hang of the zibo 737 when bugs came up making it unusable. I have reinstalled several times on steam and even reset windows 10 but no luck. I am running out of options!
You did the IRS alignment wrong. You might be able to trick the system in short flights with the Airport GPS coordinates but you are only tricking yourself on longer flights.... To properly align the IRS and prevent IRS drift you need to use GPS L or GPS R which are the actual aircraft coordinates (found on page 2)
Hello. I downloaded the Zibo mod quite a few times but every-time I boot up the game, the keys doesn't work. I'm able to move with my mouse but I'm not able to click on the buttons like ground power or engines. I can click only one or two buttons but not all. I'm open to any kind of suggestions. Please help me out.
When I start cold and dark, above the Standby power switch there are Drive warning lights that are on (1 and 2) and I have no idea how to get them off since they aren't on in your video. And it causes me to keep an elec warning next to the Master Caution when yours is gone... Somebody please help!
My FMC is obviously not the most modern. I dont have the option to set the IRS align time. The only options on my FMC are FMC and ACARS. I don't have the "extras" options you are showing. Is there somewhere else I can find this option or am I able to update my ZIBO fmc?
Very Nice job Micah! I recently downloaded the Zibo Mod, and it is amazing! I do have a few problems with it though: most of the cockpit switches aren't working, and the pitch is messed up. Any ideas?
This video was made on Zibo version 3.21 and many things have changed since this tutorial. Since version 3.29 I think, all the settings including the IRS have been moved to the tab on your left.
My problem is that the airplane isn't moving when I give thrust and play with zobi mod when I play without zibo mod it moves when I give thrust can anyone help me?
Nice tutorial what fmc version are you using. My zibo mod vers.3.30 does not show all that your have from the main menu (i only have 2 options). How can I get the fmc to show more than what I have? Thanks!

When i hit FMC I get all the details about the plane plus two options at L6 for Index and R6 for Post Init. when i get the menu option i get five options on the Lside but non of them say Extras. @@gerrysweeney1526 I looked into it. With the update came some major changes compared to this start up video. All of the settings are in the tablet to your left now under configure and customize.
You can move your camera to where you want it using the arrow keys and change the depth using , or . When you have your camera set push Ctrl and a number on your number pad and it will bind that view to that number. After that all you have to to is push that number to snap to that view

hi when flying the zibo up around 20000ft ,my windshield start to get foggyeven on clear weather , can't see anything inside cockpit.. my cruising attltitude already set in cabin pressure..am i missing something...?
Change them when you change the power source. Ground source then change to ground source, battery should go on to BAT immediately, Gen 1 goes on when engines are on and running, APU is on when APU is running.

You can leave the engine start switch in the center ( both) and just turn the left or right knobs to grnd as you start each engine.
Ignection 1/2 not means for engine 1 or 2, but each engine have two ignectors, so you can live in 1 position for each engine starting.

Walk through your shutdown procedure. Are you doing a cold shutdown and restart or are you doing a warm restart?

Always wondered whrehe the 20% n2 came from. Many ppl use that during engine start , while the correct one is 25%

My throttle seems to not be keybinded with the plane. It controls reversers for some reason.
Should be able to fix that in X-Plane 11 settings.

Are you using the Default 737-800 or are you using the Zibo Mod?
So I followed this and when I turned my apu off all my electrical turned off as well what did I do wrong.

In Zibo 3.30, the settings were moved from the FMC to a tablet to your left side. Use that to change settings.

When they start pushing you back that is when you start 1 engine and when the engine comes to idle that's when you start the other.

is there a checklist that you use that goes in the order you are doing it ? I tried using the pmdg one and the flow is different from yours.
