look! The PRX movement exagerates the downside of Automatic movements( ease of adjustment, maintenence and cost of all this plus repair) and also significantly Improves the movement. In my educated opinion,they aren't worth it though and you and all the others have agreed on this more than once and you know it!
You lost me trying to justify the price of the Ingeniuer lol. Its almost twice the price of their pilot mark xx. They can charge what they want, but hardly anyone will pay it and they will tank on the secondary market. Its absurdly overpriced, and it doesnt even have an exhibition caseback. Such a fail

Seamaster 300 summer blue w/ blue rubber band and foldable clasp
I have a question about this one, does it hug the wrist more than the regular seamaster 300m? The regular one fits perfectly but it’s floating on my wrist due to the open case back. I was wondering if a closed caseback would change that.

Longines and Frederique Constant are smashing it out the park at the moment, they just need to be careful not to increase prices otherwise they will price themselves out of that significant segment

1. IWC Ingenieur top(expensive for this movement but looks beautiful)
2. Speedmaster Moonwatch(beautiful, if you like chronograph) But maybe I choose Zenith Chronomaster Original
3. Panerai Sub Luna Rossa(I think standard version with steel bezel and white dial better, but it’s only my mean)
4. Longines GMT(very good for who need GMT function)
5. BB Monochrome
Longines legend diver 42mm blue dial, with an artem sail cloth strap. Highly recommend the strap upgrade, artem are worth the high costs in my opinion
On my wrist: Tudor black bay 58 - I never get tired of looking at it, feeling it, I purchased the BB58 in memory of my father as the 58 represents the year he was born and his time was cut short now I carry his memory on my wrist and in my own little way have given him more time.

I just finished doing some yard work, so I’m wearing my G-Shock 5610U today.
All great watches. I particularly love the Genta inspired IWC. Panerai also seems to be calling me lately.
On my wrist " Glycine combat sub 39 mm" absolutely love this watch and would love to get another, ( in a different color scheme) unfortunately they're kind of hard to get a hold of, even on the Glycine site

On my wrist: My favourite green Longines Spirit 42mm.
Out of those the only ones I like are the Longines Hydro-Conquest GMT (although I'd personally go for the Spirit Zulu Time instead) and the Speedmaster.
The IWC is not bad but I wouldn't want one (I do like the Mark 20).
I don't get the Panarai thing at all and the Tudor is just completely ruined by the kids 'My First Watch' square hand.

I own the hydroconquest gmt on a black rubber strap and its great. Very comfortable and looks incredible , brought it on my honeymoon so hopefully it's my one and done lol 😄

I'm the same way about those first scratches , they are almost traumatic lol , but about the 1 year mark for me at least i stop caring and remember how i obtained the scratches and i love the imprinted memories .
Yea completely agree I’ve tarnished my longines Zulu 39 clasp at this point , first few scratches I hate it now I’ll never get it polished
I never got this, not that I'm hating, but aren't those memories just dinging it on a random door, why would you care about remembering that?

I just picked up a 39 mm longines Zulu timer GMT on the bracelet before a trip to Utah. I was climbing one of the boulders at the arches. I lost my footing and started slipping down And got a large scratch on the clasp. I’m honestly so happy it’s there because it will give me a memory of the good time I had adventuring And that exact memory!

I'm wearing the Casio DW-290. Also, if I had the money, I'd buy the IWC Ingenuire in the aqua colour. I think the discourse around it would be a little bit friendlier if it were just a smidge (not much) cheaper.

I've been wearing my white Speedy Pro everyday since I bought it! Hands down, my favourite watch. It would've been amazing if it was an automatic though, my opinion!

The biggest problem with the IWC release is that the gray market was selling the new Ingeneur for $4k under retail while ADs were still taking waitlist deposits for it at full msrp. Figure your stuff out IWC, you’re light years away from Rolex

The key for closed back is the faraday cage / iron dome that harkens back to the original model. A seethrough case would mean breaking the core original aspect that made the watch withstand magnetic fields.

Its speedmaster white dial on my wrist today! I suggest you get this white dial speedy and the tudor black bay, it is my favourite non limited speedy so far, and looks much better than then black speedy on my small wrist! IWC ingineur seems a bit overpriced for what it is in my opinion..

Sold my Tudor bb41 burgundy dial when I purchased a bb reverse panda chrono and miss it like no other. Also I understand your stress with new bracelets. When I purchase new I worry about scratches but when I purchase pre-owned I enjoy the watch from day one without any concerns.
The IWC is my fav but yet no TAG ??? the new aqauaracer or indeed the solar graph.

Watches on radar to purchase are Nivada Grenchen’s Antarctic 35mm and their DepthMaster Pac-Man, Maen Manhatten 37mm blue dial, CW Sealander (maybe GMT) and Baltany 36mm Explorer homage red/brown dial I know Baltany is aliexpress but they did a great job on the homage and the brown/red dial looks great

Apart from the IWC great selection.
My understanding is the closed case back is lower profile, so the fit would be roomier, and you may want to tighten the strap 1 slot more.
