Also, when you talk about chronographs , you should discuss whether they have a vertical clutch or a horizontal clutch. Vertical clutches allow you to run the chronograph hand as a seconds hand continuously without causing damage to the movement. This is a very important point.
TAG Heuer's new Carrera Glassbox should get a mention. I have the blue version (which I absolutely love) and I am looking to buy the new Panda dial version. It is what I've been asking for from the brand for many years: a mid-size wearable chronograph that revives the best of the Heuer vintage models while adding some contemporary flare to it. And it is just around £6,000
Wearing my Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Mint Green. Nice list of Chronos, love that Longines chrono both in bracelet and rubber. The Omega Speedy in white looks great too!
Great job! I agree - the Omega Speedy white dial is beautiful. On my wrist right now is the Speedy Moonwatch hesalite. The Longines really is the bang for your buck leader - great job Harrison, as always!
@@kayceeare393 - I have not had any problems with scratching - and I do wear it frequently. I chose this one because it is the closest to the actual moon watch - and, I think the hesalite gives it a unique look from the side which is definitely a throwback to the original. Hope that halps!
All good options Harrison (as always). That white dial Speedy is gorgeous, I have the old black dial 1863 manual wind that Like you I appreciate winding the watch manually for the days wear on the wrist. I'm also a whit dial fan for certain watches and have to agree with your view in the Tudor Black Bay Chrono panda dial. On my wrist today is my old Tag Heuer Monaco cal 12. Thanks for sharing.
We need some Habring^2 no monopusher or split seconds on the list. I like it all the same but I agree with the other guy that Ice Blue Pitzmann is a beauty. Would be afraid of losing my hand down the town though lmao.
I really like the black bay chrono, I tried on at my AD. However I went with the BB58 gmt instead, will wait for Tudor to upgrade the clasp on the chrono
I agree with you: this Tissot is awesome! I don't have problem with that ETA Valjoux, but I just want to know, is there any plastic parts in that movment, as there are in some powermatic calibers for example.
What do you think about the PItzmann III? It's a south Korean watch using the Seiko movement. But I feel its more of a watch for a price you spend on Tissot.
Soooo….I’m rocking my 39 mm TAG HEUER CARRERA (the blue “Glass Box” -date @ 06:00) . Why you didn’t mention this 2023 Watch & Wonders star 🌟 makes me wonder……as always.
Fyi. Just bought a brand new box and papers included Parmigiani Metrographe chronograph 2019 under 6000 USD I think that’s good find ? for Parmigiani ? Hope u agree
Mechanical Chronos, outside the ST19, are expensive. Nothing wrong with the Seiko speedtimer or the Stratton for a few hundred using Seiko VH63 mecca quartz I am wearing the Seiko LX Springdrive with the moss green dial in titanium
As I’m watching I know the speedy will be high on the list. Love the speedy but chose to go a bit different route when I bought my Zenith A385 Revival (on my wrist now).
I suppose the reason for not having an exhibition caseback is thickness, as mechanical chronos are pretty thick anyway it makes them hard to wear comfortably on smaller wristed ppl
I think the PRX Chrono is just a little to big for me, but i love it. I have tried one on and tried to buy it but Klarna bank did not let me buy it :(((((
The Speedy for me, by far in the list. Second would be the forgotten TAG Heuer Glassbox with its many cool variations. On the opposite, come on Tissot, what did you do with your PRX ? Ugly thick profile and one of the worst date integration ever.
Which idiot approved the date window for the PRX chrono? It basically just ruined the entire watch itself - sticking like a sore thumb on an otherwise beautiful watch 😵💫
You don’t have any Chrono in collection … just googling can give you a convincible ground to broadcast your insights? Only Paper work is not sufficient , Boy
These youtubers dont even realize how expensive watches are. Most of them collect seikos and gshocks and tissots because they know they are way overpriced
@itsacookie1 a large part of the hobby does celebrate traditional mechanisms, including me, but there are also people who are totally cool with quartz and still get a kick out of the looks of various cheaper watches. I personally have a 12k-ish Grand Seiko chronograph and a regular Seiko Speedtimer.

That Longines stands out for me.
On my wrist is my latest pickup. AP Royal oak jumbo rose gold openworked!❤
Wearing my Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 Mint Green. Nice list of Chronos, love that Longines chrono both in bracelet and rubber. The Omega Speedy in white looks great too!
That mechanical Tissot looks great.
I just saw the longines spirit fly back chrono with a grey dial and fell in love with it. Grail watch for me now
Wearing a Squale 39 heritage today. Gnome Squale limited edition.. love old school vibes
Nice video .. just wearing my Speedmaster Racing with white dial … considering Zenith or Navitimer as my next one … cheers
Great job! I agree - the Omega Speedy white dial is beautiful. On my wrist right now is the Speedy Moonwatch hesalite. The Longines really is the bang for your buck leader - great job Harrison, as always!
Does your hesalite moonwatch scratch easily? Trying to decide between that and the sapphire.

Wearing my Hublot Aerofusion Gold Chronograph

IWC Pilot's Chronograph and the Portugeiser need to be on this list!
We need some Habring^2 no monopusher or split seconds on the list. I like it all the same but I agree with the other guy that Ice Blue Pitzmann is a beauty. Would be afraid of losing my hand down the town though lmao.
I have the B01 in british racing car green, I love it!
Much love for the Breitling Chronomat.
I really like the black bay chrono, I tried on at my AD. However I went with the BB58 gmt instead, will wait for Tudor to upgrade the clasp on the chrono

1. Great job! Thanks for the work!
2. I feel you really missed the boat not doing the Tag Heuer.
3. Wearing my Hublot Aerofusion Gold Chronograph

I have one and love it

Me personally would have included a Breitling Navitimer as well. But great video as always
The blue tint on Breitling & IWC glasses is the anti-reflective coating
My favourite is the Speedmaster but close second is the Zenith.
If the theme is < 10k, why even mention the Daytona? For < 10k, Omega Speedmaster is the clear winner. Silver medal to Breitling; Bronze to IWC.
Mechanical Chronos, outside the ST19, are expensive. Nothing wrong with the Seiko speedtimer or the Stratton for a few hundred using Seiko VH63 mecca quartz
I am wearing the Seiko LX Springdrive with the moss green dial in titanium
What model out of these will hold its value best?
wearing my all-time favourite watch the sub 124060
On the wrist today a Breitling colt automatic I bought in 1995
Explorer 2 black on my wrist today
Already knew the new glass box tag was gonna be slept on.
As I’m watching I know the speedy will be high on the list. Love the speedy but chose to go a bit different route when I bought my Zenith A385 Revival (on my wrist now).
I’m wearing my Farer Discovery II on a mesh strap.
I suppose the reason for not having an exhibition caseback is thickness, as mechanical chronos are pretty thick anyway it makes them hard to wear comfortably on smaller wristed ppl
Wrist Check: Citizen tsuyosa small seconds
Nice pick but missing Frederique Constant Highlife Chronograph or some of Sinn chrono😊
I think the PRX Chrono is just a little to big for me, but i love it. I have tried one on and tried to buy it but Klarna bank did not let me buy it :(((((
Isn’t the movment in the Tudor Chrono is the Breitling 01 ?
The date window on the PRX Chrono is absolutely and utterly HIDEOUS!
Would have literally been the perfect watch without it smh 🤦♂️
I am probably biased... But the Hamilton Intra-Matic panda chrono that I'm wearing today should be on the list! Much smaller than the PRX chrono.
Love that watch. Wear it with pride and joy!
Tudor Black Bay 41 Monochrome on my wrist today!
Love it!
Wait... no Tag Heuer?
Heuer Monaco 🇲🇨 Calibre 11 my favorite chronograph of all time
Best new chronograph under 10k: Moonwatch. Best used chronograph under 10k: Neo-vintage El Primero.
Good video.💯👍
I'm wearing a Rolex Air-King
Zenith el primero a384 revival panda dial🙌
too bad I already have 3 chronographs so maybe... haha
Seiko 5 sport landshark
Chronomaster original missing from this list. It’s much better than the Chronomaster sport IMO.
Tudor TRiple B on wrist 😊
Wrist Check: Birth year 16014 Date Just.
You can't be "bias", that's a noun. You can be "biased" though, an adjective.
L'omega speedmaster bianco è un orologio fantastico....un sogno❤❤❤
Il Longines è anche lui strepitoso...ma omega è omega ❤❤
I got a monopusher habring for 7’ euro 😂
Oh boy here comes the hate but I’m wearing my new to me Invicta 45mm All Titanium Pro Diver model 0420. Ok bring on the hate.
heuer should be in this short list ...
Lug to lug on the Hamilton??
It's 49.2mm
So, your "Top 8 under $10k" doesn't include either/both a Tag Heuer Monaco or Carrera? Oof...
But daytona is king
King of marketing

Under 10k?!! I’m looking for a quality Crono under $500!! Know your audience.
These youtubers dont even realize how expensive watches are.
Most of them collect seikos and gshocks and tissots because they know they are way overpriced
You don't want a chrono under 500 or even 1000. When it comes time to service a chrono it typically costs between $800-1200.
@@itsacookie1 a Seiko Prospex chrono would be fine. If it gets old enough to need service, just get a new one.
@kirkwcowgill True but that feels weird to do in a hobby that celebrates out dated mechanisms. Just throw it away when it gets old.
@itsacookie1 a large part of the hobby does celebrate traditional mechanisms, including me, but there are also people who are totally cool with quartz and still get a kick out of the looks of various cheaper watches. Clickbate, under £10k. Cheap and nasty really....
