@@myralyra2404 Qi Rong and Ling Wen are the only ones to notice it. Or the only ones who say they notice it to Xie Lian. Others likely notice but don't act on it; or others my have been told as Qi Rong doesn't know to keep his mouth shut most the time. XD
In the book he also constantly calls Hua Cheng a dog and later on calls Xie Lian "dog f*ucked Xie Lian" lol

When I first read this scene in the novel my respect for Xie Lian became immeasurable
I love how when Hua Cheng blocked Xie Lian with E’ming (I think that’s how you spell it) it wasn’t rough or harsh, it was gentle and soft, almost like he was saying “I’m sorry gege but the truth must be said”

I laughed so hard at the deck-em moment HAAHA! OMG HAHA, my family looked over confused! Haha thank you Kictor for the good laugh! - Xielian HIT EM AGAIN… sigh, okay.
Hua Cheng grew so much since his time as Wu Ming. Before, he was so obedient to Xie Lian even if it was harmful, but it's really cool to see how his devotion has grown and changed over time. He's become confident enough and wise enough that he no longer has to stick to blind obedience to support his gege. ❤
Real talk despite the risk of spoilers.
I think he had to, as Wuming he supported Xie Lian by being obedient. However we've learned that Xie Lian is too self sacrificing and has no real resources to ensure the best outcomes and that won't stop him from acting on what he feels is right at all. It only makes sense that Hua Cheng has now become, instead, as strong and resourceful as possible to try and make it so that no matter what Xie Lian chooses to do, he can allow him to follow through and then make sure that nothing happens to Xie Lian.
All LQQ needs is just some popcorn to enjoy the keeping up with the Xie's at 1:50
I think Starember do it on purpouse cause in every novel I read use to wonder wth are the other characters doing when someone start a monologue or some of them just go into an endless discussion like what they do on those moments? stare at them akwardly? enjoy the gossip? sit on the floor waiting for them to finish? take a nap maybe?
And yes in this manhua I can see the other ppl doing whatever in those moments and is pretty funny to notice

I don't know if you see it but the way Qi Rong behaves and the way he talks to Xie lian is deplorable and makes me feel sorry for him. (spoiler alert) Qi rong is like a child who was pushed away, it's as if he envies Xie lian that he is perfect, and at the same time he can't accept the fact that he wasn't chosen by him. You can see madness and immediacy in him, but also some childish devotion and rebellion towards someone whom you admired more than life itself. He is so beautiful in this and it makes me sad that everyone calls him disgusting because in his desperation he is real and he is not pretending anything, although he copes with who he is as best he can

Well disserved punch from xie lian
Well, that punch of "Xie Lian" towards "Qi Rong", has been drawn kind of disappointing. In the novel, it is described as stronger than all the punches of " Hua Cheng" and it directly pushes Qi Rong into the floor and he could not crawl out of it for a long time .. 😒😒😒😒 Here it is just a nose bleed 😢
