It's funny how through all the novel you realize Hua Cheng reacts angrily when he is NERVOUS, which when you get the whole picture is absolutely funny. That's why he was so tense in the cave, that's why he is always taking it out on E-ming, etc.
You can see the worry in both of them. Xie Lian is scared to trouble San Lang because he knows he is lying to him, but it’s almost as if Hua Cheng already knows what’s going to happen because he says “you can go wherever you want since your at my place.” There love and worry for each other is shown in there thoughts and actions- even before Xie Lian even realizes he loves Hua Cheng deep down he is unconsciously caring for him
Re-reading it since novel, I always see some small new things, (SPOILERs ahead.) the fact that Hua says "You can go wherever you want, since you are at my place", knowing, that Xie Lian will in fact go, to look for hints about Earth master and is like saying: its okey, whatever you do gege, i wont be mad and i will support you xoxox This love story is so perfect, I cant live without it anymore

At first I was like "Okay that red dude's name is Hua Chang I think--No wait, is it San Lang? And is HE Xie or Gege?? I GIVE UP ON EVEN TRYING TO LEARN ANY OF THE SIDE CHARACTER'S NAMES BECAUSE I CAN'T EVEN BE SURE ABOUT THE MAIN CHARACTER'S..." XD;;;;
Hua Cheng and San Lang are the same person. Xie Lian and Gege are also the same person. Xie Lian calls Hua Cheng “San Lang” because when they first met and XL (Xie Lian) asked him for his name, HC (Hua Cheng) answered that he is the third son of his family so XL can just call him San Lang. In Chinese, “San” is 3 and if I remember correctly, “Lang” is like young master or at least something similar to that. I’ve also heard that “Lang” can mean husband in Chinese. A lot of TGCF fans really eat this including me because all of us know just how sly HC is. 😅 And, XL is called “Gege” by HC because XL is older than HC by at least a decade or so. “Gege” in Chinese is just older brother. It’s kind of like “senpai” in Japanese.
Also, in this chapter that Kictor is showing, there’s only 3 side characters that pop up. E’ming is HC’s sword or dagger. E’Ming is HC’s eye that he plucked out many years ago to save others. And like Kictor says, HC really berates E’Ming a lot because E’Ming shows the passionate side of HC that he’s trying to hide from XL. HC keeps a lot of secrets about his emotions, but E’Ming just exposes all that stuff to XL, lol. I forgot what the correct term is, please don’t hate on me TGCF fans. I haven’t refreshed my memory in a while. I need to go reread TGCF again. And then there is the Lord Wind Master, Shi Qingxuan. SQX can shapeshift between female to male and vice versa, which is what you’ve been shown. Although, SQX likes to be in female form more despite being a male biologically. And the last person you have is His Highness Tai Hua (title), Lan Qingqiu. He’s… a bit naive. So… yeah… But! That’s to be expected considering that he’s a pretty young god. And his title is a royal because he was the Prince of Yong’an, his kingdom before ascending. Generally, the gods are given or called titles based on what they were when they were humans and what they’re godly position is. So XL is called His Royal Highness the Crown Prince by the other gods because before he ascended he was the crown prince. After ascending, he became a martial god, if I remember correctly. But, XL isn’t called General despite being a martial god because he descended twice before and has no more followers to keep his god status. His Highness Tai Hua is also a martial god, I think, so the other gods also called him General to respect his position. To be honest though, (please don’t hate on me fans) I think Lan Qingqiu is a bit of a failure as a martial god because of his naivety.
