Well Ollie you have outdone yourself on this video, excellent video footage and a big thank you to Justin & Ryan for letting you record them doing the work and a great job they have done 👍👍
Still seems like a temporary fix - if the clay pipe keeps shifting at the joins, the liner will just crack and you're back where you started. Seems like you'd be better off just digging it up with a mini excavator and replacing it all with PVC
@@sh3riff It's just a thin layer of epoxy essentially - trust me, compared to the ground shifting and roots pushing, everything is breakable - especially thin hard cured resin
DA finally gets to be an observer instead of a worker. Did I hear Ratty say that Justin needs to invest in a truck lift gate? Best channel on TH-cam! Cheers.
Awesome Job. Appreciate that you took the time to show the whole start to finish process of pipe lining. Much more to it than expected. Thank You. All Good 👍
This is a great Video Ollie seeing how the whole process works or relining sewer and drain pipes get relined ,What a very interesting process and very involved But is saves the time and the material of re piping ,Ollie your commentary on the process is awesome well done mate just brilliant. A very slick operation
This may be the first time I've ever seen Ollie use the record function of that fancy camera of his instead of just tucking the gopro under the jacket to see the screen. Great video, love it!
I had this done on our main line after it collapsed and the American version of Ollie came to clear it. Very interesting to watch, and worth every last cent
@@CallieMasters5000 I'm sure there are guys like Ollie everywhere. The whole world rests on them. Without them, everything would have collapsed long ago. But Ollie is the best of them.
@@CallieMasters5000 cheaper than a total redig and installation of new pipe. As for the American version of Ollie,,,its kinda like that cheap cola vs. the real Coca cola, it is kinda the same but just not the real deal!! lol
I had heard about being able to do this and wondered how it was done. Thanks to Ollie, there is no more wonder, I know how they do it now! Many, many thanks Ollie! Great video!
Wow, what a great video and good team effort by Ollie, Ryan & Justin, and Ryan getting extra skills with camera and commentary action! really interesting to watch, Well Done all three of you
Wow Ollie, that was really amazing to see. Thanks for taking us along to see the finale of this customer’s problem pipes! This technique saved them lots of $$ didn’t it?
Oh, yeah. Definitely. Whatever the owner paid for the relining is probably cost way less than replacing the whole system. Imagine if nothing was done. That would have been expensive.
That was interesting to watch! I think it would help people better understand the $$ needed for relining if they see the tools and expertise needed to do it. Jetting chain nozzle action looked pretty awesome, too!
That new nozzle is brilliant, i was thinking that drill tool was useless in this situation and out pops your secret weapon from your top pocket. Absolutely amazing.
Ooooh what a wonderful present Ollie! I saw just few second of these things in some random clickbait videos and was interested to see the full process.
Ollie has a new toy! 12:38. "That thing is a beast. A weapon of mass destruction." Amazing process ! I enjoyed that a lot. Thank you Justin, Ryan and Ollie. Good to see Ratty.
Husband and I found this very interesting! We have this available here in the states, too, and have often wondered how this was done! Thanks for taking the time to post!
Great Process! They use this on a Large Scale on Huge Sewer Pipes in the Midwest (Center Part) of the United States. Thanks Ollie and Team for Detailed Video. 👍🙏
An interesting new perspective on drain maintenance and repair. Ollie sure knows how to keep us entertained. God bless you Ollie and the drain gang. All good!! 👍🏻
About 15 years ago the sewers in front of my house were relined. I got to talking with the relining crew and they let me stand in the truck and watch the footage from the camera as they cut out the side openings for the junctions. There were joysticks and buttons for controlling the cutting head and sled. They knew the locations by running the cutting sled up the pipe prior to the reline and wrapping tape around the cable every time there was a junction. Different colours for different directions from memory. Very cool.
As a plumber in new construction that chain knocker jet would do wonders for all the building debris (bricks, grout, cement, concrete sleet) i have to clear out. One day ill find the right special tool to clear grout out of shower gully's, ill have to keep my ears open for that one. Great video as always Ollie, ive seen small patches of relining done but nothing this big, fascinating to watch! What a great group of lads Justin, Ryan and supervisor Lolly are.
Thank you for filming this for us, super interesting to see how it's done. I've always wanted to see it. I liked the "I'll just bash it out with my camera" part 😂
I've seen this before, here on youtube. It's pretty cool, they don't have to dig up the pipes and replace it all. They insert this sleeve all thhe way down the pipe, when it hardens up, it's just like a new pipe was laid. Fairly new invention! 👏👍
That was a different kind of video from Ollie. I liked it. I learned a lot about the relining process. Very interesting. Thanks, Ollie, for spending your day filming this!
I've seen those inflating snake things before, those are REALLY cool! They're quite tough and can navigate some really sketchy areas quite nicely. Never seen one used in the field until now!
Ollie thank you for sharing this experience with us. I always wanted to know how re-lined a damaged pipe was done. And Ratty had a well deserved sauna bath and supervision is spot on. Thank you Ollie for sharing this may you have a Blessed One Sir.
My parents had their sewer pipe relined & I know why it cost alot. It was amazing to talk with the plumber & learn how this system works & this was 15 years ago. This was a huge run to the back bathroom & then I saw the camera go through the reline - bloody amazing for 60+ year old pipes.
What a revolutionary system...I have heard of it and read about it...I've seen the companies that offer it...but, never saw an in depth review of its installation and how many benefits there are verses digging up the place and laying a new pipe. AWESOME job Ollie!!! Amazing the way it covered right over the old pipe at the Tee....Loved to see this...I would definitely tune in for another episode like this!! Keep up the great work Ollie, we all appreciate the hard work and video processing you do on almost a daily basis!!! Can't wait for the next!
Thank you for showing this relining. I have seen it after it has been completed, now i have seen the complete process, too bad it was short this time. I would like to see it again on another job. Thank you again.
Good team work...no ego there !!! A job well done, greetings to the team members. Just that one foot short by the mechanical failure !!! Other than that , a good job, well done....Ollie.
Yet another amazing video and great explanation on how the professionals earn their money. Amazing from start to finish.. thanks Ollie 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 all good
I've heard both you and Gavin mention relining on your channels, and sort of inferred what it was - but now I've seen what it is and how it works. Awesome! Thanks to Ryan and Justin for taking the time to let you film the process... and glad your camera isn't epoxied into the pipe... hehe. Thanks for showing us how it is done.
Good collab, even got to show off some eXperimental drain cutter tech. Team was pretty good sports explaining the process and what they're doing. Glad Justin got in his little advertisement at the end too.
Now ollie is learning more for the job , how to replace pipes in easy and modern way . I watched this kind of video 4 yrs ago , the video was from America , he was replacing the pipes by rubber pipes without digging the old pipes
Can you imagine the trials and tribulations the developers went through to get this system working as well as it does? They must have had a lot of faith that they would eventually succeed. Thanks for showing us how it works.
Ollie!!!!! You know how to surprise! New technologies are amazing!!! Thank you and your colleagues!!!! Very interesting video !!!!)))))))))))))))))))))
This video is amazing! I've always wondered how they did it since I saw another channel talking about it.
Yeah...Thanks for the field trip Ollie!!
Wow, that pipe-in-pipe is a production process!

Very interesting to watch, and worth every last cent
Is this super expensive?
And is there really an American version of Ollie?

With the pipe replacement to take of the collapsing & the relining, I think it was about 14K
