It's an original composition and was also performed by the band South Boarder from the 90s. The song in it self is amazing from the arangement and the lyrics. Inspiring now that my love Michael performed it with a great band, it is now perfect.

You should watch "One Sweet Day Cover" with the guy in glasses which is Michael Pangilinan with Daryl Ong and Bugoy Drilon and Katrina Velarde. And then watch their solo's on WISH BUS. Dennis Galabo not oversinging, it’s how a powerful song sounds like..you may be the chill music type of person so don’t base your judgment to you personal preference of music you prolly need to watch a lot of coach reactions and learn how to gauge a music accdg to voice quality and harmony rather than just give your non technical based opinion.

Stellar performance by Khel and Rhyssa! The South Border musicians are so skilled!! Michael has a smooth voice and Rhyssai has a sexy soulful voice. I first saw Michael perform One Sweet Day with Daryl Ong, Budakel and Katrina Velarde. I believe that cover went viral as it was outstanding- better than the original version.

When you mentioned Babyface I was pleasantly surprised and thought "Yeah! I agree with that!" The sound is reminiscent of but just updated enough to be a "now" sound too. You need to check out Michael's "Lay me down" performance. This collab was the bomb as each singer has different tones but they all blend so well, almost as if they've been singing together for years. She (Ryssi) stole the show though IMO. Ryssi just has a raspy, soulful and smooth tone to her voice, almost like an Alicia Keys vibe.

Sir , rainbow is a Filipino composed song,
Nice objective review and reaction. The lead vocal is Michael Pangilinan, whom you reacted to before in their cover of "One Sweet Day". Now this "Rainbow" song was originally sung by South Border, one of the many Filipino bands that became popular in the mid or late 90's as far as I can recall. They were sort of more inclined to music with pop and R&B vibes.
