I think this guys are forgetting that Filipinos has a very good grasp in the English language to the point that we can mimic your different accents. And I'm also glad to say that Filipinos love singing so there's no reason for auto tune because most of the time we can definitely manage an impromptu singing.

Wish bus is a rolling radio station, literally in an actual bus. They feature guest singers Filipino locals as well as international. We have a few american and british singer guest there. And yes! Its done a 100% live. We take pride of our local singers.

You seem so surprised that Filipinos have ‘no accent’ when singing in English. Well, just an ‘FYI’: Filipinos are very good in English. In fact, Filipinos are leading in South East Asia when it comes to English, specially Grammar and Subject-Verb Agreement.

"That's pretty good english" 🤣. Guys english is the secondary language of Filipinos, it is one of the few countries in Asia that can speak english. Well it's more spoken in the urban areas and you can find young people speaking it more frequently but if you move to the rural areas you'll find few people who can understand and speak speak english albeit broken but still understandable. And as some comments already said Filipino artists don't like using autotunes when singing live but we can't deny that backtracks and reverbs are always there.
It looks like ONELIFE have not heard any of the Filipino artists sing.

First of all, thank you for advocacy on mental health. With regards to musicality, there are many great FILIPINO singers. Believe or not, it is really live. Check out other Filipino singers like Charice, KZ Tandingan or Morisette Amon. :D English is the Philippines secondary language after Filipino (Tagalog) so you may assume that many of us can really speak and write English. Many call center companies take Filipino work force because of our English fluency.

*Filipinos don't use auto-tunes and are mostly trained to sing since birth before they noticed the world.
*Most Filipinos are usually better in English when it comes to grammar, compared to other European and American people. We have been taught English since Pre-school.
*Filipinos use their mouths rather than their nose when talking or just making a sound that's why we sound better and also become better singers.
*Filipinos love flowy, airy music. Like jazz and bossa nova that sounds more sentimental, it's not American at all but probably Spanish.
*Most Filipinos have European descendants, especially Spanish, as Philippines was once called the melting pot of the world when it comes to race. Spanish was once the second language of the Philippines before the Americans came.
