Sometimes you just need a hug even if it's on stage infront of ppl. You can tell how much the member's of Rammstien genuinely care about each other. I personally think that is part of the genius and success of their music.

This is the kind of thing that makes a show interesting, memorable, unique etc. Things go wrong at even the most basic shows, I can only imagine how complex and difficult it is to make sure everything goes right for a show as complex as this. They put a little humor into it and it worked out good.

Ethan was doing his best to put on a straight face so was zoned out and then gurning. Damiano was the one who sobbed shortly before at the San Remo festival when they found out they had won.
Paul would fit right in with Maneskin if he wasn't much older than them. Like 35 years. Maybe as a side touring musician. Though I've seen much older side musicians with young bads and also collaborations across the generations such as Tom Jones with the Stereophonics, Dusty Springfield with the Pet Shop Boys (she's twenty years older than Chris Lowe) and Tired Pony formed between some Snow Patrol and REM members.

I am quite surprised to see the long pause in the music while Till hugs Paul, I was under the impression that Rammstein played each song to a tight, pre-recorded click track with no room for deviation? I thought this was necessary for the choreography of their pyro?
Some pyro is controlled by themselves on stage and all the rest is remote controlled by the guys that also do the lighting. They can easily keep up with any improvisation (for example they keep the white lights until the song continues).

Those things never stay on them for the entire show. They always remove those pyro parts in between songs so they can get on to their next stunt.
