Yeah I have no idea what he's talking about either, I think this movie is amazing! It's just so much better than any other disaster movie which are usually cheesy and eye roll worthy.
It's too bad that Stallone is ashamed of Daylight; it's an excellent flick that was, and remains, sorely underrated. I remember seeing him talking it up in promos in 1996-97 when it was released and he was promoting it, and I thought his comments were spot on. The fact that he "apologized" for it later is disappointing.
When action movies were all about characters humanity and heroic values on top of the spectacle with no superpowers bullcrap. Old school action movie up there with Cliffhanger. Glad to say I watched it in a packed theater back in 1996. 5:23 is my favourite part of the soundtrack. RIP Sage Stallone
Daylight and Copland Stallones acting is so different than the action parts and I like it! He is good at what he does,no doubt about that he's worth the Oscar he did not get.
megafoxdrone especially remembering when it first played in the movie in the scene where Latura (Sylvester Stallone) was making his way into the New Jersey tunnel via the wind fans and the air suction room where he blew the hatch with dynamite. That’s where it started playing. And the name of the song on the track at 6:50 here in the video is called Searching For a Miracle :)
I remember the movie Speed was good, but I haven't seen that one in years. Daylight is one I had to see again when I remembered it. After all that time, I had forgotten, but I might've seen it in the theater. Left quite an impression. Full of surprises. Takes you back to the 90s, where it definitely had its place.
One of his best performances ever and one of the best soundtracks out there.Kit Latura is right at the top with Rocky and Rambo in my book. The closest character to the real heroes out there ! Great job !
This movie is very underrated and i never understood why critics slaughtered it. Idiots. Stallone did great, director did great and so did the cast. Now the music is just awesome.
I remember when this movie came out. It was such an event form me. Stallone was still the household name, I was 11 years old, and loved it so much. I still do, and must agree that this is very underrated movie. I always compare it to the Cliffhanger as a two of Stallone's "rescue type films". PS: I remember the scene where he just hangs on one hand below the ceiling that was so exciting to watch! Good times!
It's true- this is Randy Edelman at his best. This along with his Gettysburg soundtrack rank at probably his two best musical compositions ever. I think Leaving George- track 7- is the best here. So moving
i just can`t get anough of this movie and this soundtrack, i just LOVE it and love everything about it, speciely SLY, he is one of this century`s` greatest actors and human beings.
Remember, Randy Edelman is the one that did the famous Batman soundtrack back in 89 starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson... And Prince did the other part of the soundtrack... Randy was a great composer and conductor... He probably just stopped doing music scores after 96... Life changes... Who knows🤷♂️
Me sigue gustando muchisimo la pelicula, me la compraron en vhs cuando era un crio, y ahora que soy adulto la tengo en dvd, y pienso comprarmela en blu-ray. La banda sonora es preciosa
I can't help it but that part absolutely fits in a situation where you want to achieve something as hard as you can but you fail despite all the self esteem and effort you put into it.
i grew up in Lynnfield ma with my real mother and father and sister and i am 59yrs old. Nothing is real if you don't believe in who you are and micky said sometimes nature is smarter than people think. i have all the anthology dvds of all rocky movies .This movie came out in 1996. Barry shulman.
I love, love, love, LOVE this Movie!! I went while traveling to Washington D.C. I had to with my Family into a Tunnel that was under miles of Water and all the while l was riding through all l could think was being scared but excited at the sametime because, at the Time, I didn't know that Tunnels actually went down deep under Water so, it was a scary/fun Time for me.
What is this movie .... I want to ask how many times! It is! It is! Did you make it want to listen again and again? Is it? Or am I the only one to feel?
@SlyGamer1000 Hell yeah i was siiting and watching Stallone film clips and my girlfriend switched channels and i heard something like Is still out there and i recognised that, looking back on the tv and there it was the movie i love ;)Greetings Epic Themes in this movie!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this movie, I heard Stallone ask pardon to his fans for making it. What the hell is this guy talking about? Daylight is one of his finest movies!
Stallone tooks my soul in this movie, and not in any other! music is so damn near of my soul
Yeah I have no idea what he's talking about either, I think this movie is amazing! It's just so much better than any other disaster movie which are usually cheesy and eye roll worthy.

I’ve always loved this movie. I can’t understand why Stallone hates it.
love this movie

Long Life to Him (raises his mug)

6:41 - One of my all time best movie soundtracks.
The last 2 minutes of this score is really everything i just dont feel anymore when watching modern day movies
What really got my attention for this movie was the music. It mad the movie even more great than it is.
Daylight is a true 90s Sylvester Stallone classic 🙂. The music score is phenomenal by Randy Edelman , who did the music theme and score for MacGyver .
Daylight and
Copland Stallones acting is so different than the action parts and I like it! He is good at what he does,no doubt about that he's worth the Oscar he did not get.
I love the song at 6:50 every-time.

One of the best things I've heard in a movie for sure!
heroic moment for sly
i still get the same feeling i got when i was a kid. Goosebumps everytime
the best film of stallone
Most epic and nostalgic soundtrack ever! This is a masterpiece 💖 Perfect for the movie.
excellent and incredibly underrated score, from a criminally underrated movie
This movie is inspiring especially in times like now. The noble cause of saving lives is always in demand.
It's still great.
People are bloody stupid.. This movie ruled so hard and still does.
One of the best movie Stallone played. Soundtrack awesome..👌
Underrated movie and very underrated score
One of his best performances ever and one of the best soundtracks out there.Kit Latura is right at the top with Rocky and Rambo in my book. The closest character to the real heroes out there ! Great job !
This movie is very underrated and i never understood why critics slaughtered it.
Idiots.
Stallone did great, director did great and so did the cast. Now the music is just awesome.
It's a true hidden gem. I'm always amazed how some movies can get praise while others do not.
brilliant orchestral part, what else can I say. tears came to my eyes

Inolvidables los soundtracks y la trama. Fui a ver la película en 1996 y quedé impresionado.
4:56 Saludos desde Argentina , gracias sly , nostalgia pura está película, más con el plano general viendo las torres gemelas
Daylight was one of Stallone's best films yet. And the music was amazing.
6:50 is a master piece of hope, never forget this
Me too

i just can`t get anough of this movie and this soundtrack, i just LOVE it and love everything about it, speciely SLY, he is one of this century`s` greatest actors and human beings.
My favorite track has always been the first track. This one has stuck with me more than everything else in the soundtrack..
I was born in 92. I watched this movie all the time on vhs growing up.
(sniff) the second track always makes me cry every time i hear it.... and i have seen this movie hundreds of times, it's one of my favourites
I know it's just a movie,I have seen Daylight a million times, but for some reason,"Latura's Theme" always made me cry.
4:56 The saddest part, when some survivors didn't make it. But also the hope of how the rest of survivors were rescued
Randy's work from 92-96 were iconic. Don't know why he's fallen into obscurity now.
Remember, Randy Edelman is the one that did the famous Batman soundtrack back in 89 starring Michael Keaton and Jack Nicholson... And Prince did the other part of the soundtrack... Its sad that stallone his son is dead, rest in peace my friend, you did great on The big screen.

This soundtrack makes the movie a little bit more greater. Superb job.
I heard the first song through the trailer for Atlantis. That piano riff is so fresh.
This soundtrack is perfect!!!!
People love Rocky, First Blood....for me, This is Sly. One of his best movies. Emotionally Great. One of the most underrated movies as well.

fantastic 1996 movie, i love the movie soundtrack
I really like this movie, such a claustrophobic setting.
And the music is superb.
What a nostalgic moment.
The music at 4:56 is so damn good!!!!
I can't help it but that part absolutely fits in a situation where you want to achieve something as hard as you can but you fail despite all the self esteem and effort you put into it.

At 4:20 that part was very emotional when Eleanor passed away in husband arms and they had to leave her.
Definitely! Also when they have to leave Kit and Amy and the end when Grace realizes George is dead T_T and then Kit gives her her bracelet back.
Breaker, breaker ! We got a smoker ! We got a smoker!

4:56 is my favorite part of this beautiful score.
I love this movie
I always have to remind myself everything happens for a reason & everything's going to be okay
The score for this film is a billion times better than the film itself.
Alot of malaysian dramas in the late 90s used the soundtrack after 3min 45 secs..
amo esta peli y el soundtrack hace que se me pongan los pelos de punta !
¿ Cuál es el título de esta película en español (de España) ?
Me ha gustado la banda sonora y quisiera verla
Gracias
I feel of rainy winter weather when i play this music
What is this movie .... I want to ask how many times! It is! It is! Did you make it want to listen again and again? Is it? Or am I the only one to feel?
The first track is good for our short film production at our university project. Maybe we'll use and site of course.
A primeira trilha foi tema do Repórter Record até 2009.
Enciclopédia do Rádio ainda é
7:36 - 8:17 best part of the entire score. hands down.
This score remind me bad days until vindication begins
6:50 awesome
The movie was not that bad, it had good music and good story line as well, i also ditto this opinion that it is an under rated movie
Melhor filme que vi...... epic daylight..
i love this music
Very emotional nostalgic spine tingling score epic from 6:50 onwards
The best of the movie: when George Tyrell is rescued by the entire group. Unfortunately his neck was broken, just like my heart...
GREATTTTT SOUNDTRACK m8!!!!thank you!!!
