craig is such a good AA; really lives the life / program & promotes the idea & beautiful without being a holier-than-thou arrogant twat. from one sober bub to another, godspeed good sir!
I felt the same way when I found out. My radio days were more when Craig was still on the air, so here I find myself looking for anyone who helped archive his radio shows since it looks like Sirius XM doesn't make them available easily.
This is not unusual in show business. There are people who put emotional continents between themselves and former co-workers and ex-friends. Johnny Carson did it most famously with Joan Rivers, Dean Martin stayed away from Jerry Lewis forever and they NEVER restarted their old act together, and how many musical acts split up NEVER to have full-group reunions? It's the usual reasons... Insecurity because of perceived talent levels, pure "I spent so much time around I'm sick of you and don't want to see your face again!", or pure spite --- someone with the power to do so exercises it to erase someone from their life for good! (Btw, that's NOT what Dean Martin did to Jerry Lewis. Jerry Lewis was CONTROLLING. From what I've seen in interviews, I see that. He can also be a very arrogant blowhard. Dean Martin? Always charming and gentle in every interview I ever saw of him. People had a good time around Dean and all kinds of people got along well with him and played well with him. Dean Martin HAD to get away from Jerry Lewis to be happy in life after a while. Neither man's career really suffered after the split but people STILL like to talk about it like those two were best friends who should have never split. Dean Martin became bigger after he left the Martin-Lewis act, and Jerry Lewis wrote, directed, and starred in his own movies for many years...) I don't know what Stern's deal is. I have NEVER followed the guy that closely and his show has always been on-and-off/very inconsistent for me which is why it's years in-between before I really pay attention again. I NEVER listened to the guy regularly on radio. I HATED it because there were very few kernels of good entertainment inbetween long periods of commercials and crap about sex and filth. (To be fair, that's true with Stern's biggest competitors in other cities. I could name names, but people would pile in to defend their favorite disc jockey/show host. Sorry, but these guys can't play their "A" game ALL the time because they're on the air too often and everybody runs through the same guests over and over!) I was utterly bored by it most of the time! As pre-digested as the Stern E! series was, that WAS the good stuff/the decent interviews there had been on the radio series! We can only speculate. I say Stern is at a point where he's making so much money maybe he feels he has too much to lose now? If that's so, it's silly... It's a bit like how utterly bitter David Letterman became in his later years at NBC and especially after he lost his bid for the Tonight Show. Even though CBS paid him better, he never got over the fact he wasn't "anointed" at NBC and given the Tonight Show. Some people care way too much about this title crap. Fact is, he was a multi-millionaire -- a very well paid man in a suit who talked to people. I have a feeling Stern is like Letterman now... It's all for the money, and he's probably not too happy with work at this point. He's done about all he can and achieved goals most other people only dream of doing.
Artie was given a million chances so how can you say “no reason” Gilbert maybe but not Artie. It got bad near the end. He was doing dope at work. You can’t be having that shit in Sirius studios.
it’s called a woolie. It’s stupid shit that Artie would say that made me think twice if he actually ever did drugs. lol! Christ he did that one bit about being with his buddies and shitting himself on heroin. Cocaine will get your guts going and make you shit but not heroin. Unless maybe you’re in withdrawal.
@@keefwins04 For years he encouraged that behavior and when the diminishing returns were observable he dumped him. Stern is a PC ass kissing neoliberal fascist now. He is the opposite end of the spectrum of that which made him famous.
edit: what's a good to the interview with Artie it picks up oh, but you really got to like Craig Ferguson and Artie when he picked up that pretentious dismissive comedic tone that he pretty much never used on Howard Stern than any appearance I never listen to Artie Lange stuff after 2010 besides maybe one or two Joe Rogan podcast from way back in the day So everytime I hear in his tone and delivery shocked me even before he lost his nose
Great episode....one of the best from the radio show
Mr. Ferguson is a classy guy all around. & hilariously funny. Great fu**in' interview
Artie comes in at 33:00
People Judge me all the time they're called Judges - the mans quick !!!
Hahaha the Abel Ferrara story around 1:30:00 is classic. Artie and Abel seem like they’d have gotten along well back in the 90s
Hilarious. Artie’s laugh and great chemistry and stories.
Wow this is so entertaining!!!

from one sober bub to another,
godspeed good sir!
33:05 for Artie

damn, why didn't i knew earlier that craigyferg is doing a radioshow :-O
when where what how :-O

so why are the "howard" comments missing?
Nothing is missing Its the Full show
If anything is missing, it was edited out by SIRIUS. This is the audio clip as posted by the channel
This is when Artie was looking like Miss Ballbricker.
This is sad. The first half is great. Then Artie gets high and it gets awkward and sad. I'm glad he seems to be doing better now.
Stern lost a lot of fans by black balling Artie and Gilbert for no reason.

AvengerII Well that was damn insightful and accurate haha. Thanks for that ❤️❤️

Is that Artie Lange in the left-hand picture? Doesn't look like him! He looks like Meat Loaf!
Yes that's Artie. It was taken the day he was in studio (3/30/2017)
lol atleast his nose was still whole then.

Angel Dust is PCP, not embalming fluid. It's not that dangerous either. Artie is fucked.
Well...... You would know .
I think Artie likes drugs because it gives him something to talk about besides Hollywood Howard and Toe Fungus.
I'm predicting that in 2017, Artie Lang will die
John Notstamos fuck you?
John Notstamos welp. Ur wrong
You are wrong! Lol boo hoo
Almost
lol he might outlive you
