Awesome video how do you make the deposit for rent, which is 1 month and 2 months equaling a total of 3 months, cash or credit card?

Claiming that withdrawing money from ATMs will get better exchange rates than exchange shops is misleading, the fact is just the opposite, and you have to pay a 220 Baht ATM fee every time you make a transaction, which makes things even worse.

She accounts for the fees. Ensure your bank refunds the fees if you’re getting charged. This is the standard for most banks 😃 #EnjoyThailand

Correct. if the bank refunds the fees, you do get the best exchange rates through your ATM.

@@ibrahimrahim8714 Actually this is not standard, most banks don't refund the fees.

@@thaikru Not many banks refund the fees. Even if some banks refund the fees, the rates are still worse than exchange shops. You can only say withdrawing money from ATMs is the most convenient way to get money, but not the most cost-effective way. Like almost everything else, the more convenient, the more costly. For example, taking a taxi is more convenient than taking a bus, but costs more.

Best way is with cash or some kind of debit/credit card.
Thailand has separate "wallets" here that you would have to transfer funds into.

Thank you providing this useful info. However, those excessive hand gestures are quite annoying in your presentation, sort of like you're trying so hard to simultaneously communicate verbally while using sign language.

I disagree. I find it completely charming. It reminds me of the expressive grace and elegance of traditional Thai dance. She is speaking a different language and being expressive, with better flair than you could probably speak her language. Maybe it would be annoying from somebody with a bad attitude, but from this friendly ambassador from the land of smiles it is totally welcomed in my book.

POS using credit cards are prohibitive because of very high minimum purchase.
I eat alone but minimum is 500 baht .
Even 7/11 stores ' minimum is 200 baht
