      But, let’s face it. China has 1.4 billion population. America has 327 million. China has nearly 5 times the population to the US. But the energy generation only 30% more than US by the end of 2018. Does this mean US waste a lot of energy? I mean US generate way more CO2 per person than China. Conclusion: US please reduce energy consumption, stop polluting the environment and blaming China. Because China got 1.4 billion people and those people deserve to have a quality life.

      @ALEX-hu6ll 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@reltpid First, you are not wrong in terms of using the single variable method to compare things. But, I have to point out
      - the carbon emissions are not the measurement of resource wasted, It is used to measure the energy used to develop a country.
      - Most developed countries, currently have advanced technology to generate electricity with a higher utilization rate than country like China. China is on its way to use cleaner and more efficient ways to generate electricity.
      - All countries who have experienced an industrial revolution have wasted a lot of energy and created a lot of environmental problems. think about the history of those developed countries.
      - China has high energy consumption which means high emissions and pollution. this doesn't mean waste, China also cannot afford to waste energy since energy = money.
      - the reason I said the US waste a lot of energy, is derived by the comparison of electricity per capita generated. the population is used to demonstrate the volume of a country, I'm not saying citizens are wasting energy. take it as a measure of efficiency. So, I can definitely say, if China does the same thing as America, China would at least generate at least 5 times electricity as of now. If that happens, the development speed will be insane in China.
      - take my arguments as a grain of salt, it's only my view, not guaranteed correct.

The Chinese government is the most efficient government. China has an energy policy for 2050. What about India? How long has the industrial policy been formulated and the related energy policy? Watching any of these videos makes it clear that we are witnessing a historical shift in Power from the USA to China. By the end of this century there will be no contest. They have more people, In general are better educated, have a larger middle class with more wealth and a political system that has a complete grip on its people that looks long term to achieve its goals. I personally would not like to live in China but I admire what they have achieved in the last 30 years.

      they have larger middle class, better education, where? come on be realistic.
      historically larger population meant bigger GDP until the industrial revolution removed population huge advantage china went from 80% world GDP to being bullied by west/japan in regular basis.
      in china being in the top is the norm. this why also many china/India/African countries having insane growth over 10% is their is more unmet potential to grow but their always a limit just like Brazil hit its limit in 2010.
      plus china would have still have good economy regardless of political system and in fact it has only increased once china back down on Maoism and opened their market a little bit in the 80s.

      china today is growing because of big population having access to newer industry just like what happen to USSR before but that the catch this growth have a limit, the only possible growth after that is science based not population based.
      and so the question which kind of country will have better result? a country that is completely open from within and to the outside world and import more brain power yearly vs a country that is closed from outside world and from within and export its brain power yearly.
      its proven track record that prosper, higher standard of living, information freedom and advancement in science are link together, cause each other and u can't have one without the other.
      my point is china as we know today can't match USA and at most will be a USSR like country, and mostly likely if china after 100 years was on top it would be a very different country then today.
      lastly USA only need to fight china while china need to fight the USA and all its neighbors there are so many threats china need to deal with and probably can't.

      Yes because China started having what I would call a "growth spurt" in development etc as early as early late 1990s but India started having it only in mid-late 2000s . Reasons are many starting from corruption to the obvious issue of India being a democracy which required immediate demands of different sections of people to be met to some other unavoidable things etc . But biggest problem I suppose for India was govt was pretty inefficient for most of the time before 2000s , that they upheld a stable democracy itself seems like a big thing
