I wouldn't be afraid to use nothing but the panel bond. I know the 3M is a really strong bond. I have had to change the same bedside twice for the same customer and glued it both times. It took me a lot longer to get the bonded panel apart than the original welded panel. Welding causes rust in my opinion.

Ya could just buy my 1963 big window gmc for 3500.
I've been told, big window trucks bring 4 to 5 thousand dollars more than small window, total bs.
