Nice addition to the car. Much better thana fixed windshield. Every car deserves a few pieces of jewelry - it makes them feel 'special'. As always, thanks for the great work and interesting content.
Who would've thought a 1/4 would have made all the difference....yes once you added that visor it really would look like a stormtrooper ...lol looking very nice
To: Mr. Brent Coachbuilder, I really enjoy your channel. You might say I am living my life vicariously through you. I always wanted to do what you are doing. Life, career, raising kids etc got in the way. Now I’m to old and to broke to do this type of work. I tried though. I once was a certified master mechanic. I also taught auto service technology. Oh well, times come and go. I’ll keep on walking forward and enjoying your work. God bless you and Wanda Coachbuilder. All the best to you.
Can't decide if it's the work you do or the commentary I enjoy more HA HA. Regardless, so much fun to watch. Incredible that you make something from out of ugly. Thank you.
That came out good. If you make windshield latches that are L shaped when the window is all the way forward they would drop down into the leg of the L to keep the window forward without having to tighten knobs. That's how our old Alice tractor work.
That was really good. I enjoyed that video. I have a tractor with a cab on it and my back window had the same kind of openings openers that you used. I made my with flat stock drilled two holes at each end. Cut one end out. Use the bandsaw and welded the piece back in and it worked great. That's just one way you can do it. And also I picked up some of that paint yesterday. I'm going to give it a try. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🐕🐕🐕
OLD PABLO was laying on the floor when you were making window hold outs and if you look close you can his eyes looking over at you / good job on window frame
Design'n da po boy fresh air conitioner, cut'n a curve in da steel, test fit da storm trooper look, build'n da slimmer winder frame, mount'n dat frame, make'n dem side slides, out n up.
Alot of thinking going on here 😂 But I knew the direction you was going by following along with the tunes looks like it turned out great once the glass is in it will be fine, I thought you might round off the corners of the frame👍Keep on going and we"ll keep on watching the progress
Well another great educational tutorial video on making functional front window on a hot rod and very well done. It looked factory made at the end of the video, just needs a little fine tuning, paint and some glass. I have a 1954 F-350 pickup truck, they no longer make wind shields for them, I might have to reweld another close fitting wind shield into it, if I cannot find one. And that's one of the reasons why I watch your videos, it gives me ideas, it teaches me ways to over come problems, even if it is a major job. Keep them videos coming my friend and take care
Very nice.. too bad that Pablo can't give high fives when you fix or finish something like this! I really did wonder how they did these window suspensions.
Awesome video. Thank you for recording parts in real time, it was a great learning experience. Plus as the video progressed I had a lot of aha moments, I was ohhh, that's what he's going for, gotcha, lol. But awesome work as always, thank you. I really do enjoy watching you work. You really do great work.
All that thinking had me concerned for a moment or two! Then I realized you likely edit that out of most of your videos for us. Knew you would get there eventually!! Great work as always! Thanks
Brilliant. Metal is definitely your medium. Having come from a carpentry background, I'm constantly amazed at how you can massage metal any way you want it. It's a continuous medium that can be formed and reformed in any shape or dimension that you want. Great job. And thanks for the education in the art of metal forming.
Fabricating the windshield frame was a great video to watch. I especially like your “no nonsense no slide rule” engineering. Ya just make it work and it works. I know you are leaving the top for the future owner but would love to see it done…..as always, thanks for inviting us all to Halfass Customs Garage.👍👍
Excellent video Brent :) got all electrical fix and back tail lights with license plate light too work on also Speedometer plus gauges fix up now and horn be add too !
Great job.... If I might suggest on your next job similar to this you use a scribing compass that you set your distance and and move along the radius. ALSO....for those that thought your arc radius was not symmetrical, the camera has a fisheye distortion to the shot.
Window looks great. When I did my 33 truck, I built the frame out of 3/4 angle, and faced it with about 1/16 plate. And weld on bullet type hinges The window is glued in and has been fine. I like your frame and shop made side latches
Brent, l wish you lived closer! I have the hinge you need, it's a piano hinge. Approximately 5 1/2 feel long, you might try that ,I'd give you the one l have, jim love your channel!
Funny how it looks ok to me then Brent says something like “it looks like a storm trooper” then I laugh and can’t stop seeing the storm trooper mask. Funny as hell. Thank you sir. Cheers.
Brent has a reason for everything that he does. I would have checked fit of the old windshield and if the curve was right on the bottom used it to copy my angle on my new stock. Brent knows what he's doing. Sorry for the arm chair quarter backing there...lol
Talking to yourself is OK. Arguing with yourself is less ok. When your both wrong is bad.
That windshield frame came out sweet Brent! I like the way you made the tilt outs. I need a plasma table, Santa!!!
Windows are Windows to the world, Thanks Halfass Kustoms
Wow 113K subs. I remember finding and subscribing to your channel when it was under 500. Good design and execution on the windshield frame.
The beginnings were a little Chunk ay-y-y-. Now nice and streamlined. I like it
Thanks for taking us on a ride.
Nice addition to the car. Much better thana fixed windshield. Every car deserves a few pieces of jewelry - it makes them feel 'special'.
As always, thanks for the great work and interesting content.
Pablo sure likes the car drive, In his last life he was the chauffeur for General Eisenhower.
Who would've thought a 1/4 would have made all the difference....yes once you added that visor it really would look like a stormtrooper ...lol looking very nice
One more step outta the way...
Loooks great... 👍
Oh Pablo love'n da ride !
Yeah... Steel Carpentry is more forgiving... And, it looks great ! ! !
🖒🤠

Maybe your next build could be an all electric hot rod or truck. You are awesome.
Pure genius Brent! Most guys would just seal a piece of glass to the body. I think that's about to change!
The only thing weirder than you talking to yourself is how much I enjoy listening to you do it!! 😊👍👍
Am most impressed by those new overalls.
I enjoy watching how you figure things out as you go and always come up with a great result. Joe
That windshield looks great. Thanks for showing us. Maybe if you had an old van you could cut a section out the roof for the top.
The frame looks fantastic.
Brother you are definitely a Craftsman. Great work Great video as usual.
My-T' fine craftsmanship Brent!! Soopa minty ✌😎👍
You don't need me to tell you but I want to say excellent job on the window frame
Can't decide if it's the work you do or the commentary I enjoy more HA HA. Regardless, so much fun to watch. Incredible that you make something from out of ugly. Thank you.
Windshield frame turned out great. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the visor.
Keep these great projects coming. Good to see that sub count moving up.
Love that windshield, looks awesome
Great vlog, really enjoyed it, thank goodness your friends dropped by 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺
Right What were you saying ? I,m here for PABLO.
Just get it done, what a clever fellow. Really enjoy your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. Dennis
Looks good, Brent . . . took a lot of work but the results speak for themselves! Golden!
Another great video Brent. Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder and watch the planning and fabricating on the fly that you do so well.👍👍❤
Slicker than snot!
That was great , thank for adding the window frame an slide brackets too..
now that`s the cats meow. super job as always. thanks for another great video

I have to make a window frame for my 30 Plymouth 4dr. This video is just the ticket. Thanks!
Brilliant, imagination and talent is what makes your projects the successes they are.

Always love your outrows with you and pablo cruz!
Awesome video. Thank you for recording parts in real time, it was a great learning experience. Plus as the video progressed I had a lot of aha moments, I was ohhh, that's what he's going for, gotcha, lol.

All that thinking had me concerned for a moment or two! Then I realized you likely edit that out of most of your videos for us. Knew you would get there eventually!! Great work as always! Thanks
I like it, I think it needs a few clips to hold the glass in place but it's a great design, nice work Brent 👍
Always enjoy your programs 🤓
Congrats Brent on making that Cool Windshield and made it fit ur Rat Truck. Cool Pablo taken a Boot at the end.. lv the build.

Your window latch is similar to old school wooden house window latches (if you want to spend $$). Great content as always !!!!!
