    Those are grouped into the editing features we mention at 09:13. But you're right; we didn't call those out specifically in this video. Legitimate oversight. Annotation applied. Thanks for the catch. ^MF

    Very good explaining and professional looking video. Can you please tell me and lots like me which is the solution for the light sensor problem. In bad light conditions?? Do I have to change the camera or what?

    I'm glad you guys did a video about this. With all the hype and talk about the One's camera, I thought that if you did an S4 review, you'd HAVE to do the One.
    Plus, you taught me about the swipe gesture to switch between the front and main camera. Thanks.

    When flash is on or in automatic mode and you tap the screen to set focus and exposure the LED lights up to make the settings correct before you make the shot.

    I've had the HTC One for a few weeks and I've only been able to compare to the Galaxy S 3 and I've been impressed.both cameras perform really well and I was worried about the One's 4 MP stats but I can't tell the difference.these tutorials are good since most people leave the camera in auto and wonder why some pics look good and others not so much.

    Great tutorial..I learned alot! I do have one question. How do you delete items out of the background of a picture like it showed in their commercials? I have some pictures that I want to delete people out of the background and can't seem to figure out how, but I know it showed that capability in one of the commercials. Thanks in advance!

  • @WaiLIp
    @WaiLIp 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    depending on the screen size that fits you. 4.7" for the HTC and 5" for s4. personally i would pick the hTC One, due to the One has higher pixels-per-inch (ppi) and easier to handle. also screen size and battery life are related, if you know what I mean.
    In addition, One is more fun to play and you will have better experience of this smart phone. You will find out when you have one or both. I have both by the way.

    Have they solved the bug that causes the camera app to stop responding, yet? I've seen it on HTC One V and HTC Legend, but i read the camera app has problems on other HTC phones as well. I suspect it's a memory leak, which might happen after taking a 10 minute video. Also, does the whitebalance allow finer tweaking on that One? All but auto look ugly on mine, and auto often overdoes green.

    Is there a way to change the size of the images? like the amount of pixels the camera takes up? Uploading htc one photos to instagram always asks me to crop over half of the photo out. I recall having this feature on my S3 before the switch so I was wondering if it's available on the HTC one as well

    SUPER helpful video, thanks so much! I've been doing tons of research on this phone and plan to get it the instant Verizon releases it, and your video helped me be 100% sure. Tried the phone in a store today and the photos were spectacular. Tried Nokia 928, but I don't like the really shiny screen and the plasticy feel. Also tried Samsung Galaxy 4, and don't like the plasticy feel and unattractive interface. YES to HTC One, and thanks again.

      yes i have the same problem, and i didnt dropped the phone... did u fix it ?

    •  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Petar Georgiev me neither, mine is only two weeks old. The problem affects a certain collection , so given the fact that we are already Sense 6 Kit Kat, it's a material problem (Theuriau realesed a correction update a while ago), HTC told me to give it back, and they will change the camera....thats annoying

      @ShajithManhalangadan 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      for me too same here, Best phone with a worst camera...

    •  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shajith Manhalangadan Yep..I really like the phone ( design, sense 6, omg) the front camera is good, but the back one, I'm a bit disappointed, Ultrapixel system was showed as a revolution ... In bright photos are very good .. but in low light !! (However, I use my flash, and when the subject is near me, the pics are juste Wonderful, the background is black and my subject is neat and perfect ! )

    Any idea how to crop a photo with people in it? -- Anytime I use the "crop" tool HTC One identifies all the faces in the picture and forces me to select one. Once selected it automatically zooms in and provides a crop box the size of the person's face, and its almost impossible to get it to stretch back out to just make a minor adjustments in the total image size. Very annoying. I've looked all over for an answer to this very basic editing feature with no success. Please help!

    808 is the first phone with pureview camera. 41 mp. sensor. next gen nokias will come with 41mp sensor too. you can zoom 5 times and take a 8mp shot without losing pixels and no noise. just awesomeness. it was far best camera on a phone when its came out. just like lumia 920 now. you can still do digital zoom with less loss with at least 8mp.but 4 mp is just disqualifies that option.

    I cant believe NO REVIEWER mentions the actual features zoe allows you to do. After you take a zoe, you can go into the gallery, click on your 3 second video/pictures and then click on 'edit'. From here you click on 'retouch' and this is where all the sick features are hiding. There is object removal which is pretty much the same thing as eraser on the s4, there is sequence shot which again is the same as drama shot on the s4. There are many, many more options in there that no one talks about.
