This truck for day to day is what we need! If i want more tech and stuff.. get a family car for that!
2024 and 57k and it has Halogen headlights? come on GM do better
Lol halogen all day over shitty leds that cost a thousand to replace when they inevitably stop working
They are cheap and they keep
The snow melted off .
Plus it's a custom just a sport version of the work truck
@@HithereJimHeraldLED lights last significantly longer, efficient, are about 3X brighter on average. You can buy quality LED bulbs for around a 150 dollars. I don’t know where you got that info, It is wrong though.

I agree. I don’t think any vehicle needs led lights that enable the driver to see 400 miles ahead. Every vehicle i own, even my company truck has halogens….and i have never needed to see that far ahead. Plus i know my halogens are blinding the f@ck out of everyone else.
That mileage is very conservative. I did a 290m road trip and was averaging 28 with some areas seeing a 50 mile average of 32. Super happy with mine
LEDs and park assist should be standard on all trucks at those prices. Nice truck tho.
But are LEDs really that necessary?
I love my 2024 Trail Boss LT with the Duramax 3.0
So far this truck keeps getting better and better
Love it! For those wanting LED's, check the after market.
Like this trail boss looks so good in gray paint thank you Chevy
It’s cool to see an off road pickup with some kit that also has some decent payload. Also, diesel FTW!
Ben is knew when i seen the title that the truck had a Duramax. You gave it away when you called it the holy grail of pickup trucks.
I'm not A Chevy man, But that's a nice looking truck, and yea, I love that color.
This in the back can have 3 side custom storages plastic ,metal as an option in site if order
For that money you are better off paying just a little more & buying the LT Trail Boss configuration & getting the LEDS, nice interior digital displays & some softer touch materials.
Baloney that same truck in the LT version close to 10 grand more!
For $60k you can get a late model High Country
That is definitely my kind of build. Nothing fancy, distracting, or unnecessary. Less is more.
This is a good entry level truck.
Trailboss is a nice truck,
I was 5 months so happy with my Colorado 2023 now I’m not sure 😩 is 4 issues really
Not to worried about “the best” but more so the Reliability aspect…!!!
Me likey. Seems like a good option to kit out for overlanding? What do you think? I'd probably add a gel cushion to the seat. :P
It would be
No diesel exhaust brake??
Good for gm for keeping halogens going.
To hell with all them leds. I like the older interior and imo the only powertrain to buy a current gm is with the baby dmax or the big dmax.
I dont see any cupholders in the backseat.
I have a 2022 Custom Trail boss LTD, black midnight edition, 6.2L
I have 22 6.2L love it! 35x12.50x20 changed the look my truck
@@alceja3522 I put a leveling kit on mine....now to delete the DFM
@@Bruins77Fan yes I hate that DFM in mine
@@alceja3522 going to buy the Pulsar to shut it off
You could upgrade that to the LT if you so chose. The parts are interchangeable
I like this
Yea $57k is kinda steep. I’d say it’s an okay deal if you can get out the door under $50k though. Beautiful truck, great engine.
Those of you complaining that this truck is $20k overpriced are out of your minds. Is it worth $58k? That depends on what you're comparing it to. I think the sweet spot for pricing on this is around $50k - $52k, with end of year sales bringing it to the $46,500 - 48,500 range. In today's economic climate, that's a fair deal for what you're getting.
You guys probably pay $6 for coffee every day, yet complain about what a truck that can help make you a living costs.
Yes! please manufacturers, please make more trucks like these and drop the damn prices back to normal. And bring back the standard 6.5 ft beds! 5.5 is not standard and we're tired of only seeing that on the lot.
Tesla competitors is ZR2
Auto start stop on a diesel? That’s not a good idea.
Love the DIESEL!!!
It’s cool until you see that infotainment system.
I paid $62K for. Toyota Tundra limited Crewmax , 6.5’ bed, with panoramic roof, JBL sound , 14” infotainment screen , lots of bell& Whistles, the Silverado is bare bones, austere interior, very few options, for $4K less, GM is a greedy , I had three previous Silverado HDs, never again
Custom trail boss! Not a Trail Boss
Why do the tires look under sized for a full size? Anyways, the problem is its a chevy... transmission issues. No thanks.
Ford and GM both use the 10 speed transmission. They are good transmissions as long as you do proper maintenance.
The trailboss has a 2inch lift and uses 33inch tires.
@@calebniederhofer6529 idk man I have heard and seen alot about these new transmissions failing prematurely way before maintenance is even required on them. It's just garbage. That's why I have a good old 6 speed. The good old days of when transmissions were built right and had no problem going 200k before they had any issues with or without maintenance.
@@dannyschreckengost1973 Do you own one ?
@@calebniederhofer6529 a new chevy or ford? Nope.
On my budget I should be watching reviews of used Yugos rather than new diesel trucks.
57k for rancho shocks lol no way
Lol 57k and no blind spot monitoring
I thought the ZR2 was the holy grail?
Expensive though
Way to much for that truck like 15 thousand overpriced
I'd like to know who buys $900 a month entry-level pickup truck
It’s a 2024 and Still got that old instrument cluster and baby screen in it? They tripping
Too much money....for halogen lights,small tires,plastic front end,no bedliner,cloth seats,work truck interior for almost 60k?....GM get off the ganja.....😮
I like the utility but considering it's fairly bare bones, it's about $20k overpriced.
Let's be realistic. $37K is a pipe dream. $50K... maybe a touch higher would be reasonable for this truck.
It’s to expensive we can’t afford it
I give it thumbs up for styling & rugged looks but thumbs down for cheap plastic interior and horrible build quality and reliability.
….and only 20k overpriced!
Baseline and almost 60k........yeah no
This model isn't that cool. Radio is bland. For 57K pretty bare bones.
What are the common problems of this truck? Tired of just Toyota
Used to love GM trucks, but now they're just all garbage. Especially their mid sized trucks.
