I wish that were an option but used vehicles are still crazy expensive too. I’d be spending more on a truck with over 100K miles than I would on a down payment for many new trucks, and while I’d have no monthly payment, maintenance and repair costs will be much higher on a yearly basis to keep it running and passing state inspection

I'd like to see an automaker try to just build a basic, cheap, work truck. Features like a backup camera and 10 inch touchscreen is nice, but just adds way too much to the already boggling MSRP. Some of us just want basic transportation without buying a 20 year old rust bucket.

Before 2020, you rarely saw people complain about vehicle affordability but now it is becoming more & more common as you see it everywhere now . This should indicate to auto makers that the general buying public is unhappy with their pricing strategies of their products. Most of these products price out a lot of the customers.
All it takes is one brave company to build products with affordability in mind as the first priority and when it steals sales like crazy from these greedy OEMs, they will be forced to keep prices reasonable while reducing over engineering their products to justify the higher pricing.

Best interior and best integration of the center console screen without making it look like they just shoved an iPad on the dash. Drives smooth and the cab is nice and quiet. 75k for a truck is ridiculous who are they marketing trucks for? Millionaires? If you have a combined household income of 100k, it’s hard to justify spending that much for a vehicle if you don’t need it for work. A truck used to be a vehicle for the average guy, now their over engineered for the rich and the wealthy and used trucks cost too much. It’s harder and harder to find something the everyday person can afford. And recently auto workers went on strike for higher wages. Which means base model trucks will be right around 60k to 65k. And as minimum wage increases prices for everything is going to keep increasing.
