Do Canada Geese get "call shy" like mallards where sometimes it is better to be quiet and let the decoys do the work?
you should call based off how the geese are responding so if i hear them being a little quite i’ll call a little quite if their fired up i’ll sound fired up
When you hunt evening, when do you think its the good time to get in blinds?
My scouting would let me know when they arrived the day before. I would ensure I'm all setup an hour before that. That could be as early as 2pm

In Ohio, this would be considered hunting a baited field and a definite fine at the least. Once the crop is cut, the field is considered baited for 2 weeks is what the regulations say.
Definitely not
In Maryland, a harvested field is not considered a baited field. Baited is when someone 'purposely' disperses grain into a field.
In Maine, they cannot hunt dove...they are considered a 'song bird'. Funny how different regs are in each state
Couldn't agree more but the property I have permission on is approx .5-1 km away from the flyaway flyaway feilds they regularly fly over ...what do I do? Any tips?
I know getting more permission on better properties is difficult but sometimes thats the best suggestion i can make. If you are going to put days waiting on one property only to get a few shooting opportunities, it would be better to invest some of that time knocking on doors expanding your permission and having better quality hunts in the long run.
