Kitbashing germans? Yes please. Sorry about injury. I like the sergent i think he saw many war fronts. The radio can use some green stuff buttons. Great vid.
Cheers Lucian! Ah yes, can't go wrong with a bit of kit bashing for my Germans. I think the sergeant definitely has a back story, he looks like he has been in many a battle! Yup, I think I have a couple of plastic plate things that I can add to the radio :)
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it! I will admit that I really like making these type of videos rather than just showing the completed figure or team I hope people get more ideas from seeing them raw as opposed to completely finished :)
Cheers mate! It's probably my favourite part of the hobby in that I get to build and create models and teams that will be unique and personal to my army 😊
Thanks Victor, very kind of you! I really like the way that these went together and how they turned out. The whole team has a very unique feel to them with lots of character 😊
Thanks Dario, much appreciated! This is why I enjoy the versatile nature of Warlord's plastic kits, there are always some bits and pieces that will allow you to kitbash exactly what you need 😃👍
@@OnPointHQ Absoluty. I think the kitbashing/personalizing Element and the fun of the game, plus the historical Background makes this right now my number one. I will write you with my other channel than. Show you a few minis and tanks. (Wittmanns last 🐅🐯)
Cheers Jim! These were a lot of fun to put together and I'm really happy with how much character they have. I've got quite a bit of unpainted kit bashes to get through but I'm hoping to start on them soon 😊
Thanks dude! I tend to remove the slings whenever I add any machine pistols to models, I think it gives them a much better look. There is an SMG/arm combination in the winter German set that looks better without the sling 😊
Cheers Lee! I wanted to make sure that these weren't just a carbon copy of the winter German HQ section but I think these dudes have a real character about them. Definitely looking forward to painting these :)
Thanks Cal, much appreciated mate! I think there is something a tad eccentric about wanting to cut up models for no other reason than to make them something a bit more unique. Something very Frankenstein -esque about that whole part of the hobby 😁
Nice one again bud, would love to see your Normandy German force. Been building up a lot of German and yank stuff for Normandy then got the Longest Day battle box for Father’s Day. Jesus those battle sets are packed lol
Hey Rich, cheers buddy! Well now that you mention it, it can be seen here th-cam.com/video/MQd8LBUHHbs/w-d-xo.html It has had a fair few bits and pieces added to it since then mind! Yeah, I have seen that you get a fair whack in the battle boxes, that should keep you busy for a while anyoo! :D
Cheers dude, that's awesome thank you! I'm looking forward to getting these painted as I think that will definitely set them off. I think I probably need to make a Fallschirmjager equivalent now though :D
TH-cam seriously needs some big game channels, I would love to see some real 2000+ games with multiple players where the use of multiple officers and huge long range guns would make more sense
That definitely sounds like a good idea! I've been playing 15mm Bolt Action for the past year or so and I think it would certainly suit bigger games like that 😃👍
Hey Eli, glad you like it buddy! I would say you could yeah, at this scale a radio is a radio so its not important at all to make it 100% correct. As long as it is boxy looking with an aerial on it, I'm sure it would look the part :)
No worries buddy, it's from the plastic Waffen SS box by Warlord Games. It had the flared cuff from the SS tunic so it was just a case of adding some green stuff around it just to build it up slightly to fit with the winter greatcoat. Hope that helps ☺

Always a good watch 👍

Allways interresting to see your kitbash models, thank you.

Wonderful bash. Great work!!!

As Always Amazing. I kitbashed and Painted alot of German Bolt Action Minis. I will upload them soon to my Tabletop Channel and than show em to you.

More nice conversions. Look forward to seeing them painted up. 👍

I like how the dude is holding the mp44 at the magwell
Thanks dude! I tend to remove the slings whenever I add any machine pistols to models, I think it gives them a much better look. There is an SMG/arm combination in the winter German set that looks better without the sling 😊
Top drawer Ste, I’m always impressed with your ideas for figures mate and these are great 👍😁

Looking awesome. Another set of great kitbashes. Love what you did, makes me want to start cutting up perfectly good sprues :)

really like the radio operator. would you make a U.S radio the same way or would it be different?
Hey Eli, glad you like it buddy! I would say you could yeah, at this scale a radio is a radio so its not important at all to make it 100% correct. As long as it is boxy looking with an aerial on it, I'm sure it would look the part :)
Now i know this comment is very late, but where did you get that C-96 carbine from? I would love to add that to one of my Germans.

@@OnPointHQ it does! Thank you very much 😁
Top stuff! I haven't actually used the piece on many figures but I wanted this chap to stand out a bit 😊
War wound don't u mean battle scar
I think battle scar would be a better way of describing it yes! Either way, I have acquired two more today. Reminder to self - be a bit more careful 😀
