Great video! May I ask what options you had for going from the airport into town and back? Were there any Ubers there? I might as well as same questions for Lima too. Thanks.
I got my hostel to send a car for me for both Cusco and Lima to the airprots and it was reasonably priced! There are ubers available too so its easy to get to/from airport
I did, it was fine to actually because I didn’t move around a lot! If moving around a lot though (countries, towns, accommodations) would recommend not a wheeled luggage but it’s manageable
I choose private hostel rooms when I travel solo so I can meet people, get access to tours that the hostel puts on (and therefore, meet more people). Hostels are also cheaper than hotels! I also always bring earplugs with me in case it's a livelier / party hostel and I value my sleep haha
Any hostel or hotel in Aguas Calientes is super affordable. I was just there in July. I recommend staying somewhere on the upper part of Avenida Hermanos Ayer and then you are super close to where you get on the bus to Machu Picchu
Thank you!! Yes it was a free photo walking tour offered by the hostel: hostelworld.tp.st/oDg4WeA6. A lot of hostels offer events for free or small fee
Nope! Just a 5 min lesson before hand and practice in a circle haha. I’ve never done it before but did it! It was a lot of fun and can go slowly if need to
@@felisaxo I'm traveling to Peru next week.. and I find your video very helpful, light and very colorful.. I was telling my friend about your experience.
I was there in May, which is the start of their winter! You can also go shopping when you’re there like I did in my video (I bought sweater, beanie and rented jacket!)
Yes as someone who has traveled there three times I've been surprised to hear that Iquitos is quite dangerous and more akin to Brazil or Venezuela in that regard. Is it dangerous in the Northern coast as well? That's one of the areas I've want to visit next time I travel to Peru. I've been to Junin, Manu, Cusco, Puno, and Lima!
The video was great, but the constant Mexican music thoughout it, when it js a video about Peru was just painful to watch and a bit of cultural insensitive
Hey so would you say the overall trip to Peru was expensive?...with so many excursions and ruins to see? I'm thinking about coming for Thanksgiving break...and roughly how many days do you think one needs to visit Piccu and Rainbow and all the other ruins?...you think 4/5 days will do? I'm a solo traveler like yourself. Thanks in advance.🙏🏾 @ricc0_c
lima has a lot to offer also, paracas(nazca lines) and huacachina oasis are near Lima. you have to keep in mind that it`s usual to take one or two days to get used to the high in cities like Cusco, Arequipa, Puno, etc. for a travel around 10 days, i will say that 2000 us dollars it will be an average expend.
underrated channel! helps me preparing my trip to cusco =)
Omgggg thank you!! That means A LOT!!
@@felisaxo 🙏🏼🙏🏼😊😊
Amazing video! I am leaving for Peru in a few days and this video brought a wave of calm over me and gave me such amazing tips! Thanks :)
I’m so glad 🥹!!! I make these vids so I can show people what it’s like and have less anxiety when (solo) traveling! Have so so much fun!!
@@felisaxo I'm going to look into that ATV ride up rainbow mountain...sounds like my speed, pun intended.

Thank you so much, means a lot!!
I’m going to Cusco next month with my family yay! Can’t wait ❤
I'm so glad I stumble upon your video. so helpful for planning my trip to Peru, Bolivia n Chile on October.
I'm a fun solo traveller too.
my only problem with my May trip was that it was too short!
I'm from Perú and i'm difinitely not critinging love watching people enjoy and discover the city❤ !!
Thank you for another great video! I thought you were in Peru in mid June😊.The foods looked tasty 😋
Thank you for watching!! 💙

Did you travel with a suitcase trolley in south America? Was it easy to get around with wheels ?
I did, it was fine to actually because I didn’t move around a lot! If moving around a lot though (countries, towns, accommodations) would recommend not a wheeled luggage but it’s manageable
How'd you like staying in a private hostel room vs a hotel room? I'm having a tough time deciding between the two
I choose private hostel rooms when I travel solo so I can meet people, get access to tours that the hostel puts on (and therefore, meet more people). Hostels are also cheaper than hotels! I also always bring earplugs with me in case it's a livelier / party hostel and I value my sleep haha

We did it in the afternoon so it wouldn't be as hot!
Buen lugar
i am heading there in September, any advice, i want to check out Machu Picchu
where's the best place cost affordable to stay?
Any hostel or hotel in Aguas Calientes is super affordable. I was just there in July. I recommend staying somewhere on the upper part of Avenida Hermanos Ayer and then you are super close to where you get on the bus to Machu Picchu
Amazing video! Was the photo tour part of the hostel experience? What was the cost?
Thank you!! Yes it was a free photo walking tour offered by the hostel: hostelworld.tp.st/oDg4WeA6. A lot of hostels offer events for free or small fee

I have a question about the ATV tour! did you need any sort of license to drive it?
Nope! Just a 5 min lesson before hand and practice in a circle haha. I’ve never done it before but did it! It was a lot of fun and can go slowly if need to

Which month did you travel?
This was mid-May!
what type of suitcase did you bring with you and did you have to check it flying LATAM domestically within peru?
I brought an Away carry on and did not have to check it
In which month did you go to Peru? I’ve a trip coming up in sept and wondering whether I need to take jacket, beanie, sweater and all that

Southern Peru is safer than Northern Peru.

Is it dangerous in the Northern coast as well? That's one of the areas I've want to visit next time I travel to Peru. I've been to Junin, Manu, Cusco, Puno, and Lima!
trust me guys CUSCO is a safest place.
Asi es nuestro Perú🎉❤
Why did you use Mexican music in the intro of this video, which is about Cusco, Peru? Mexico and Peru are two different countries...
Mariachi music introducing Cuzco makes absolutely no sense
Hi how was the language barrier?
I don’t speak Spanish and got by with no problems! I used Google Translate when needed
not a problem at all, lima, Cusco, Arequipa, etc are very tourist destinations so a lot of people speak english.
You put mexican music in your video about Perú? Lol
The video was great, but the constant Mexican music thoughout it, when it js a video about Peru was just painful to watch and a bit of cultural insensitive
did you just use mexican music.... for a Peruvian video..? lol
Talking about Perú with mexican music. Lol

if you do the inca trek its around 4 days from the start to arrive to machu pichu, otherwise, one day is enought for each destination
