Wow, I searched for what seemed like an eternity for a TH-cam video showing the replacement steps for my Rheem Burner Assembly (Part # SP20151) for my Model PROG48-40U RH58. Thank you for posting this video. You might want to add part numbers and model numbers of the water heater so you get more views.Again, really a godsend video!
It would be very helpful to have a lot more narration throughout to talk us through what you are doing and why and especially anything to be careful about, any advice, (" Be sure to......."), etc. like most other youtube video that guide you not just visually like here but verbally.
Quick Q: the cables you cut that were surrounding the circular drum, what are those? Did the new Kit come with those as well as I did not see you covering that part on your video. thanks
curious on the old pilot tube is wrapped around the bottom of the burner on the old one, but the new replacement doesn't seem to be (shorter and direct to it's position) … agree video could have a bit of narration on the process and why parts look different … great and helpful video. thank you
I was going to replace my pilot assembly just like u did but the assembly I have has an opposite side mounting plate. I have SP20127. Since I have to return it anyway I’m just gonna get the whole assembly as it calls for. P/N SP20150
I have a rheem performance platinum Model XG40T12DU36U0 and the burner assembly is way thicker and wider than most of the ones showed in YT videos, the problem is that is not coming out. I tried different ways to pull it out and it looks too wide. Any recommendations on how to take this out?
If you feel confident and have the right tools and parts go for it!👍 but yeah recommend having someone that’s has done it before thanks for watching please subscribe if you haven’t already 💪🏻💪🏻🔥🔥👍👍

THANK YOU! The printed instructions were useless. YOU on the other hand just saved all of mankind. Well, at least in my house you did.
How long the original one lasted

Those burner assembly's are a pain in the ass
So I assumed I shouldn’t do this if I’m not a licensed professional lol.

@DM HVAC were new gasket seals not needed? Your video was truly helpful even w/o the narration. Thank you!
