Wow! I was just agreeing with another post from 3 years ago on how they should climb the tree: I think they should do that After finding each other by breaking through walls. After all, we’re a combination of pack/herd animals & we need all need help. But I was so caught up in the drama I hadn’t thought, yep, that’s all of us in this life, sometimes trying to work out the seemingly random details & connections, sometimes bashing futilely away with brute force, sometimes giving up & going: “Nah! F**K It!!!” before getting up again with renewed vigor. And sometimes, just Sometimes- we see All the Connections, like we’re getting a glimpse behind the curtain at the inner-workings of the Universe & (just for a second) we See (& Understand) Everything. And then it all goes away & we go back to putting our heads down & bashing through walls & not understanding Anything!
It's like life lessons, until we learn it we keep on doing the same thing... Life is somewhat MYSTERY and HISTORY... Sometimes we have to learn from our own, sometimes from life of others... But the truth you have to live the life... We can't hide or escape from what is happening... Whatever has to happen definitely it will happen...but it all for the good, it ends well if we make it perfect.. 🙂🌷

I struggle with this myself but I guess instead of searching for a way "out of life" we could be completely immersed IN life. Completely aware of the magic of life, of every moment, every sound, every sensory feeling or emotional feeling, to truly be alive and to also really feel alive, what it's like to live and feel. Or like in the film to be truly immersed in something, life solving the problem in every room for them.

I thought I saw them in another similar film. Maybe this was an unused portion of that film. Also it’s very much like our day to day life. What have you learned thus far. How much of it is chance and do you like yourself enough to join in with what you have done before. You were, and have been, always mindful of helping the you that would progress. Otherwise you must start over. It was encouraging.

@@BoopSnoot maybe most things were created by men because women were mostly barred from participation until recently.
That's about me xD
Deep. I see how machines could do this to humans . Artificial intelligence wouldn't really care one way or the other and just carry out various endless exercises and computations solely based on algorithms designed by us.
Portal ?
Who says it isn't like that already
@@Arendium, came to log in and write the SAME comment so I'm lead to believe we already ARE enduring this phenomenon.
Only difference is that, unlike in the movie Groundhog Day, some of us tend NOT to learn from our previous experiences while others DO!
Which end of the spectrum are YOU working from?
Inquiring minds wanna know.
Overnout.
At least until the NEXT Iteration, that is.
Hahahahaha
@@user-td1zo3tv9p Me? I believe I am new mind, but with the possibility of trascending in just one human life. An odd and apparently experimental case.
thats one hell of a video game. chop down door with ax. try key first.
They do that in Texas all the time!!
Portal. The games name is Portal. Check it out.
As a former fireman who's also worked in EMS and law enforcement, I was like NOOOO!!!! What are you doing to the tree??? You've been given a breaching tool!
When she made it through the door I felt like I was watching a new version of cube.
That is what also sprung to my mind when I saw this. It is very reminiscent of the Cube movie trilogy.
9:23 That would be my reaction since iteration 2 if it was me in that situation
🤣🤣🤣🤣

dude forgot to take his phone outta his pockets lol
haha nice find!!
This is a brilliant concept. Also, I feel the actors chosen are particularly expressive and relatable. Great work!
You Guys all need to think Better:
What you need to do in a Situation like this is when you get far enough into other rooms bring the bed with you, so you don’t have to respawn in room 1 so you can make Progress!
Gotta move Smarter, Gotta move Harder

The hood Somali that very smart actually lol 😅
Or have the man drag the table to nearby rooms while the women scouts above or runs on the roof of the maze
Very wise!
Interesting
Lmaoo is that last sentence a Roddy Ricch line from the box. 😂😂😂
This actress is AWSOME!! Love all her movies
One of my favourites 😁
How many people's lives are precisely like this today!🥺
Dem black mirror vibes
At some point you got to axe yourself the question, what's it all about?
...wow.
She couldn't see the forest for the tree.
first thing I'llbe projecting to my students on Monday morning class. beautiful and original. :)
Dust must be a bigger thing than I thought. They got Katherine Isabelle. Good for them.
"The Cube" fans unite. A new cult classic in the making!
That was insane! I LOVE IT!!!
Brilliant piece!!

#2. Ground Hog Day?
#3. Oh! Machine Learning!

I've said it before and will say it again, this would make a freaking fantastic VR game. I would spend hours playing.
Rivetting Sc Fi , in the last shot you realise that someone is studying the behaviour ! Well done thank you!
Moral of the story humans do need coexistence to work and to survive
I came back just to say how good this was. Impressive imagery, great shots and your cast did amazing.
Human usually being curious discovers and invents new things and at a new level by challenging his own & his anscestors efforts and thinks that he is at the peak of Knowledge but he is actually still at the corner of the universe of Knowledge like a child exploring things (of this Expanding Universe.)
Heard this in a movie once " If ya keep on doin what you've allways done-you'll keep on bein what you've allways been"
This one made me cry. It moved me for some reason.
Thanks for finally not squashing the end with your Dust outro. Music matters.
I'm like, "Damn, girl, haven't you ever seen The Shining? Don't chop down the damn TREE!"
Dust, delivering the good stuff yet again. Another short that really makes you think.
This is the Essence of Eastern Philosophy!
That's life! If we learn from our past mistakes we can move forward in life!
9:12 so relatable!
It took quite a while to see where they were going with this, but in the end I see some of the best commentary on life I've ever seen put on film. Stuck in an infinite loop, once you fulfill one "challenge" in life you're just faced another one, all with no end goal, at least not one our capitalist society that glorifies working ourselves to death promotes. To get anything from life we must bust our way out to find some meaning somehow.
And this, my friends, was how real-life Portal was born.
😖😭
This was excellent. Uniting and organizing can makes life's complexities a little less burdensome.
i'm sorry marvel, dc
i'm sorry split, glass
i'm sorry matrix
but if this video gets to be a trilogy movie.
i'm so gonna watch it.
heck a series why not ?
this has so much potential... damn
I believe the pertinent question is: iterations of what?
I concur.
@@ultraliskbuilder5831 the repetition of a process or utterance.
Limited time we have on this earth. And each day is equivalent to one iteration..

Highly engaging and entertaining! Acting and cinematography were good, scenery was sparse but effective, and the storyline intriguing. Kudos!
would be a good representation of thinking out of the box
Scary! To think our world could b an illusion...kudos to all who made this possible.
I think this video shows that there is no destination for success, after every step another step is waiting for you
I've been going through problems and dust has helped me🙂thank you🇺🇸
Reminds me of reoccurring dreams I've had that would play over and over until I confronted a situation.
wow
that tickled my brain a little
This depicts the life of an addict really well.
Love the symbolism!!! Movies like this one help people understand that the true nature of our reality is fractal.
It feels scary to be there..!
SPOILER ALERT: You already are!
The Iteration is your new day
She is living you
Everything she does is your life
And the maize is the rat race we all are in.
Congratulations, you understand this worl!
maize = corn. maze = . . . well, maze. :-)
I felt the point there was, "do not obey the laws. Defy the system and find another way, your way. A creative and unconventional way." Oh yes. Great video though. Loved watching it!
Cringe
That's just depressing. Rather like Groundhog Day. Reminds me of our lives. The futility of it sometimes. No escape.
There is always a scape, you just have to be smarter
Maybe instead of looking for an escape we should be looking for a way in?
@@emilienmare1508 explain that pls, my brain cries
I struggle with this myself but I guess instead of searching for a way "out of life" we could be completely immersed IN life. Completely aware of the magic of life, of every moment, every sound, every sensory feeling or emotional feeling, to truly be alive and to also really feel alive, what it's like to live and feel. Or like in the film to be truly immersed in something, life solving the problem in every room for them.
@@emilienmare1508 that makes sense, you should write a book confucio.Sorry for my english i am from chile xd

I'd love to see a feature length film or TV show with more back story and more characters
I can't put my finger on why exactly, but I really liked this one... It actually slightly reminds me of 'The Cube'. Also it was very slick and very well acted, filmed and produced. An instant favourite.
60 seconds is too short. To be able to solve this, the timer has to restart at 60 seconds each time you solve a riddle.
Love it!! How many people thought of the game Portal when first seeing this?
Concepts taken from:
- Cube (movie)
- The company of myself (flash game)
The Cube is the first thing I thought of.
@@leakyjeep5.9 This made me think of Mario Maker and some of the insane puzzle levels people make.
Brilliant short! When that woman went in the room with the balloons the second time, I was waiting for them to start "Popping themselves". As for the room with the tree, the first thing I'd have done with the axe would be try to chop through the door.
Remember that old flashgame "Click" or what it was called? Were you helped yourself click on cones, cubes and other puzzles to advance to the next room. One room you basically had to hold down a button to open the door to let your next self though.
Holy, this channel so fckn amazing is like black mirror mini version. Pls make more!!!
Allegory for working 9-5 in an office building.
The first thing I thought was to try and test how weak the wall was with the furniture in the first room. Anyone else did alswell?
Totally. All I would need is a decent pair of boots to basically walk through those walls.
‘Iteration’ is the process of repeating. I luv the simplicity of the room...the future.
