These types seem to peg everyone as Mexican even when they are not. I saw a video of Puerto Ricans who were told to go back to Mexico even though Puerto Ricans are American citizens. These types can't seem to accept that the U.S. is a melting pot of many cultures, and that Americans are more than just white Anglo Saxens. And so what if people speak another language. The US doesn't even have an official language listed.

It really goes to show that this country may be the “land of the free” but discrimination is an issue that won’t stop because some people born here are raised to be inconsiderate, ignorant, selfish, and racist. Yo mum Yo mum it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re dumb but it’s proven that knowing more than 1 language is beneficial to the brain and studies have shown that knowing a second language helps works the brain and helps delay the onset of things like dementia and Alzheimer’s. I’m not saying people are dumb for only knowing one language but I do believe that those who do know more than one language definitely have an advantage. Now, do I consider the ladies in the video dumb? Absolutely. From the video they seemed to be very closed minded and intolerant of others. Knowing more than one language is awesome and takes a lot of hard work to be able to communicate and understand languages. I love hearing people talk in different languages. It’s quite fascinating to me.
