As a mother of a grown son, I have spoken to him about things I thought he should hear. He is sixty-four now and the pride of my life. I too am a mother of a returning soldier who struggled with the same things that Pete did, i've talked to him about his lifestyle, what I found out is that after seeing the things they did in the war they are never really the same. Thank you Peggy Hegseth for taking a stand, my son isn't the same person he was either, he went to AA got right with God and salvaged his second marriage. I believe that Pete Hegseth understands what our men and women in the armed forces go through, and I believe he has changed for the better and can be a great leader for our nation!!

Glenda, I feel for you and your son. What soldiers go through in war and how it affects their later behaviour does not get addressed when they get back home. I mention this in my book - 'Fish Head Soup' when trying to explain the behaviour of a brave British soldier coming back from the Second Boer War. It forms a part of the book.

Concerning Pete Hegseth I have two thoughts. If Trump picked him then that's good enough for me. If the RINO's and MSM hate him then he is definitely the man for the job.
