The stock fence that came with my 4 hp Alpha is very nice, however I will be upgrading to this new model. I have Harvey’s sliding table and it is very well made and a pleasure to use. I’m very happy with this table saw and especially the customer service I have received. What I’d like to see from Harvey is a planer/jointer. With their attention to detail plus their innovation I’m sure it would be a fantastic machine.

I am impressed with it so far; was pretty easy to setup, glides nicely, easy to dial it in and zero it, zero deflection and cuts nicely. The additional of the standard t-track was a good addition, as it allowed me to create a jig to add my Jessem Rip Stock guides easily. The fence IMO is better than the Incra Fence just from a footprint standpoint and ease of locking standpoint, and probably on par with it from an accuracy standpoint (which is a feat). I also appreciated the extra bolts.

I'd like to know how flat that fence is. My SawStop fence is great, but the rippling in the laminated plywood kills me. Silly deviations and that causes my boards to not have 100% straight cuts.

This could have been a game changer fence if the linear guide rails were geared/toothed/threaded to 1/32" with matching geared rollers. That way, like the Incra this could self locate right on measurement without the tapping or bumping to get it perfect. Not to mention the accurate repeatability that would achieve.

Thanks for watching! Our micro-adjustment wheel can tune to 1/1000 and for repeatability we have FOUR integrated flip stops.

@@HarveyIndustriesIntl Sure 4 flip stops are great for a production environment and for some projects with multiple cuts. But more than 50% of your cuts on a project won't be the same and if the guide rails and rollers are indexed it makes setting random cut sizes just as fast as a flip stop, with the same repeatability and accuracy. Yes the micro adjustment wheel is awesome but not as fast as an indexed system. I would keep the micro adjust even on an indexed guide rail for times when what ever your cutting doesn't fit into an index measurement.
