I have this, and it's on right now. I had to have a rotator cuff repair, so I use it every day. It's nice and small, so you can put it on your shoulder and not heat up so much you don't need it. Big heating pads are hard to put in small places. And no burning your skin. I love mine. I have had 35 surgeries and now need it for my arthritis pain. So, thanks for making wonderful product.

I have two different heating pads. A comfytemp with a proprietary battery and a sunbeam to go that actually doesnt come with a battery but uses a usb plug in to run off of a power bank, computer or whatever. The way i do it is to buy several harbor freight 12v tool batteries and run a battery topper that has the 2.1 amp usb outs and power the heating pad with those. The batteries are $34 each and can be switched on the go like power banks but last alot longer. The hercules 12v 4ah battery lasts a long time. I also have a topper for their 20v 12ah battery. Big and heavy but that sucker takes a week to loose its charge running this...😁

I want a cordless heating pad because I freeze standing in front of an open door in the winter at work. Great review ! -beth Blume

Yes, you can use any battery pack. I've bought aftermarket packs from amazon, just becareful because some of the quality ones are more expensive and it's worth spending a bit more to get something that will last. The ones I purchased lasted all of a month, and then stopped working.

Well, I'm not too sure. Mines still working after a year a owning it. Did you check the battery? It might be a defective battery. You can return it for a new one I think for up to a month. So, I'd probably return it to get a new one.

I bought the same unit. Got it home, plugged it into the wall socket, turned it on, clicked to high and realized I got ganked, this is one worthless piece of apparadai..do not buy this unless you want to go to Walmart and stand in the returns at customer service for a half an hour with all the douche bags..
