Hey Tasty, if you cast conjure it will summon a very strong lightning bolt inside the wind sigil and you don’t have to be inside of it. It is probably 3 times stronger than casting spark inside the wind sigil but it does take longer to cast so you have to time it out when enemies are running towards you.
I think ya might get some good views if you did a play through of Outward with a handicap maximum Mana possible to put both your Health/Stamina at 50 then + the skeleton cosmetic costume it would be a massive challenge that would test your skills in Outward (and if have a death wish do a no skill tree run can use trainers just can't unlock 2nd tier) This would be the Ultimate challenge for Outward basically an Impossible play through
There are 2 combos that I'm aware of that you missed bud; Ice sigil + kick does an ice kick Wind sigil + the necromancer resurrect thing (can't remember the name) does a lightning bolt into the circle :)
The magic builds in Outward seem to be the most demanding in terms of items needed and skill level. I really love the triple circle though, it looks so cool.
I had a little bit of a build idea for a magic swordsman. Full Tenembrous set for Ethereal and Decay damage boost. Runic tree with better rune spells so you can get the two-handed sword with ethereal and decay. Spellblade so you can shoot stuff from your sword The rest is up to you.
This is very fun to play with (I have done this). You'd probably want shaman as your third tree so you can boost both your decay and ethereal damage by 30% (if you want to maximize damage). One other note is that if you use the tenebrous helm and boots and then the runic set chest piece, you'll do even more damage. The main annoyance, though, is the short duration of 180s on runic blade - after it runs out, you have to re-equip a lexicon and then re-cast 4 runes in a row just to get your weapon back - which puts you in a very tricky position if you happen to be in combat, and is pretty annoying either way. I personally ended up just switching back to using the 1h runic blade and rune magic, but that set-up does make the great runic blade quite strong (90-something total damage iirc). I know you didn't ask for input, but I hope this is helpful!
Emmett Herrick I actually noticed the runic chest piece the other day, and thought it would add some decent damage. Thanks for the input, I greatly appreciate it!
I love this build I also dreamed it up and am building it (ik I'm late to the party). Shaman is definitely the best third tree for the buffs but also wind sigil plus mana push in an ethereal bolt that completes the theme nicely
Just thought of this but since you have clearly played about of Outward you could make a "Beginners Guide to Outward" a simple 10-15 vid just explaining some of the well known points of outward that could save many people hours or even days depending on your play style. The best way to do this probably is to do the tutorial and expand further on info that was given there. This might be worth as a final bit of info for future Outward players if ya plan on moving onto another game *shrug* just a thought
FYI doing a shaman merc and spellblade caster outlaw build, from outlaw Star is really fun. Use wind sigil plus regular pistol shot equals mega shot then have an obsidian pistol with the frost bullet, does a ton of damage up close in a shotgun like blast. Blood bullet and elemental discharge is for any leftover enemies.also can use mana push for knockdown so you can reload for another mega shot
Build im using: All bow skills All shaman Runes Ghost for agro, horrow bow with extreme bleed and mist+ rune trap Destroys anything ive come across so far.
Love watching your videos bruh. I’ll have my chakram build done hopefully this weekend. More of a cosplay build kind of like your aloken video. Keep up the content 👍🏼
I know this vid is a few years old, but I'm considering doing this setup with Primal Ritualist replacing one of those three trees. I know that Chakram's set off the drum and chime, so I'm planning on sticking with the philosopher. Between Shaman and Ritualist, which is more essential? Does Shaman improve the chakram's effect?
Hey Tasty here's a suggestion for a game you may or may not have played called Kingdom Come Deliverance it is a immensely RP and is set in the Middile Ages I believe that many that like Outward would enjoy seeing you play it 😁
use the mage tent it gives a -15% mana buff for 40min that way you can switch up your gear without losing to much mana reduction or just to go over board
also im actually doing a Elementalist Mercenary build atm some combos you missed is with the wind sigil it turns your pistol shot into a high damage lighting shot. and ice sigil you can use kick for a frost kick with pretty good damage and high impact to knock enemies out of your circle
Ya that's actually kinda what I made my build the first time I played the skill tree I used we're Philosoper, Rogue (of course), Spellblade. It's decent I simple use a stealth attack like backstab to start combat after activating enrage/infuse ice from spellblade tree then use Chakram dance from there I retreat back and use Ice sigil + Mana Ward to send a frost blast then fire sigil and Flint in steel to make a ring of fire I also use a runic sword by using Shim+Egoth from the Rune Sage tree this combo is pretty powerful I have found by it's all about the timing alot of other combos I use the main focus of this build is to deal good damage with backstab (if available) with infuse ice (and of course cool boon) it slows down the enemy and allows me to cast frost blasts at them from afar and if they get to close the wall of fire around your character does good damage kinda hard to explain in text but a shadow mage is a tricky build focues 100% on timing and proper use of spell combos to deal damage from afar of course there are better ways to use the skill trees I mentioned 😂 this was my first build so I was testing around ALOT
Hey man, this build still works in Definitive Edition ? And tell me, what the Trees do you follow and how many mana points you put. Thanks for the content.
Nice to see you read my comment on the flint and spark!!!!! liked it man. also i was working on a death knight build with rune 2 hander and spell blade, thinking about going monk for 3th slot, got any tips ?
yeah thats what i normally do but if i use infuse light it takes away the bless boon and makes the lightning damage of my spells weaker. thus why i use varnishes
I am doing a death-blade. Runic magic with the increased runes to get the decay infused great runic sword. Kazite spellblade for the decay-elemental discharge. Shaman for the conjured minion. With the possessed boon, the white priest mitre, the jade lich robe and the tenebrous boots to increase my decay damages. I got the enhanced runic protection and boons and the mana ward to make me tanky enough (rage is a good addition for the extra impact). My combat skills : elemental discharge, mana push, spark, conjure, mana ward, brace, pommel strike (2h sword skill), wind sigil. If I face a decay resistant foe I just invoke the 1h runic sword (infused with lightning because of runic prefix) and keep my lexicon in off-hand. If I face a big dude that I need to kite, I just replace the sigil and conjure with the 2 runes to spam the lightning bolt.
Too bad chakram is too weak but it's fun I'm making a sigil chakram and rune mage, I didn't know before but u can summon the. Sword and that works like a lexicon summon the sword and pull out the chakram and with the sigils already out u can do alot of crazy combos
Great build. Bit too overwhelming to me. Too many spells for so little hot keys. Also, in the heat of the battle sometimes is hard to remember all the possible spells.
Hey Tasty, previous commentor who mentioned spark and fire sigil combo before. I just wanted to say that I enjoy your vids. Additionally, I wanted to say that Mana Push and Wind Sigil shoots an ethereal spell not lightening. It's weird but you can notice that the spell is purple and does more damage against undead enemies. Also, the conjure spell from the Shaman trainer does another lightening AoE on the sigil. It does a lot of damage and can be set off like the trap rune even from outside the sigil. Hope that helps and wish you much love and luck!
Lol by the time you set all that up, my runic hermit philosopher build would have you near death by just spamming runic lightning and freely moving around dodging all your casts lol. But hey, to each their own, I guess lol.
This build is too expensive to maintain. I don't use ice sigil or fire sigil because I don't want to have to keep buying or farming mats to create firestones and cold stones. My current mage build only requires mana and I have the permanent mana Regen from philosopher. I passed on chakrim. Runeic lightning and runic mine handles most enemies frfr. And bro, you don't know that conjure + wind sigil creates a high damage nuke???
Using kick in an ice sigil turns it into a frost kick that inflicts a bit of frost damage with some impact. Also you forgot conjure in a wind sigil for a huge damage lightning spike. Also Fire/Reload a normal bullet from a gun in it for the high damage lightning bolt, but that doesn't apply to this build for obvious reasons.
Magic looks so complicated in this game for me and too op. I'm afraid of getting bored if i use it. It seems you can easily one shot ennemies. It require to activate a lot of skills and to prepare all your spells waaay before starting to whoop some ass
lmao thats about the 400th time i have been asked something like that XD no i didnt know who he was till i started playing outward and got those comments XD
Let me know if you are gonna try this build!

Heya peeps- do any bow skills get added effect when done in a sigil circle?
have you seen the fidget spinner chakram?

yeah there is a lot of prep but it is worth it in the end. all depends on play styles
I thought I was on some serious wiz biz; however, seeing you cast all that shit....I am but an ant amongst giants.
Use reveal soul and sommon a skeleton to take agro.
Use conjuring to also make a thunderstorm aoe in wind sigil.
I had a little bit of a build idea for a magic swordsman.
Full Tenembrous set for Ethereal and Decay damage boost.

@tasty Penguin you can fine the frozen chakram in the hollowed marsh in one of the trams like you said and it cost 2000 silver to purchase.
Love watching your videos bruh. I’ll have my chakram build done hopefully this weekend. More of a cosplay build kind of like your aloken video. Keep up the content 👍🏼
I’ll put up a video showcase as well. Hopefully my video does some justice or can be half as good as your build videos

u got this!
Thumbs up because the intro looks like a seen from Sorcerer's apprentice movie

Love your builds and videos keep them coming
The living wood axe is bad ass that combo the power attack does is crazy good! I wish I could find another weapon that offered that!
Look into the cave near the stone statues in the desert. It houses a great 1h axe.

gonna be doing that with a mod showcase vid

I wonder if you can make a magical assassin build. Then name it something cool like Shadow Mage or something like that...

Wind sigil + conjure make a nice thunder (2 shots a fire elemental) centered on the circle. ;) A little tricky to time it, but the damage worths it
Hey man, this build still works in Definitive Edition ? And tell me, what the Trees do you follow and how many mana points you put. Thanks for the content.
That's so wild! :)
In the lightning circle using summon will make a massive lightning explosion
Ight, frozen chakram with goldlich sword and infuse fire with elemental discharge spam, there's your elemental destruction
Oh- I know shooting a pistol while in a sigil gives it bonus effects
Nice to see you read my comment on the flint and spark!!!!! liked it man. also i was working on a death knight build with rune 2 hander and spell blade, thinking about going monk for 3th slot, got any tips ?
i actually had the same idea XD was gonna go runic, shaman, monk
maybe take the holy faction for reduced mana/stamina cost and the infuse light which will give your ethereal 2hand weapon an insane lightning dmg
yeah thats what i normally do but if i use infuse light it takes away the bless boon and makes the lightning damage of my spells weaker. thus why i use varnishes
