Hi if you're talking about the runes, the runic magic, dez and egoth (light blue and then purple) creates "runic protection" and does not give stamina regen, but rather resistances and a heal if casted in reverse egoth and dez (which is runic healing). Runic healing if combined with the unlocked skill "Runic Prefix" only gives a health regen as an added bonus apart from its regular heal (+2 per second for 10 sec). The stamina regen I got from this video, mostly came from food and potions. I hope this helps
@@zerumuz4414 I don't think I said you would get a +30 protection in this guide... With that said, even with runic prefix you would simply get +3 protection and a +20 impact resistance as a total from this skill line. You can increase the impact resistance by applying the Master of Motion Skill and having the Discipline skill active in order to get a +15 impact resist and +15 all element resist. This would then increase your +20 impact resist to +35 with those skills working in conjunction. I hope this helps
It depends on what you're going for. In certain circumstances it can be good, in others not so much. I'm assuming you mean the Runic Blade, if so, it will be good against ethereal weak based enemies. And if you have runic prefix, you'll also get the light imbue for free, which is doubly good. I believe strongly, that in the starting areas (Cierzo-Berg) this weapon is really good, due to the ammount of monsters that are weak to ethereal damage. Not to mention if you have the Kazite spellblade fully unlocked with the discharge skill, you can easily spam blessed based discharge that melt majority of your enemies. And if you turn it into the Greater Runic Blade, more so, but in this case, it becomes Decay (If you went for the Runic Prefix). I hope that helps.
Heya. Love that build ! Was kinda sad when I started playing as sword & shield is my fav as well but seemed kinda underwhelming in this game. Good to see it actually has potential ! Would you have starter tips to work towards it ? I still haven't spent any points and just made it to Berg for the first time last night. About that part on Brand at the end. Do you think going Spellblade for the Ice infuse be worth it ? I guess you could still use varnish or rags using your build though. Cheers ~

the spellblade skill tree is not very good. dont get me wrong you can do things with that tree, but others just do better
How many points of mana do you get for this build?
For this build you will put 3 points in the leyline then when you break through runic sage, you get 40 more mana, totaling to 100 mana
