OMG, he literally fused his early version of the song idea, which sounded more folk music, and then switched it to Nile's rhythm style! What a treat to hear both versions in one arrangement!
This guy's swag was pure sex. He was worth his weight in rock icon status. RIP David. I'm sorry I didn't realize how much you were worthy of your fanbase and more so late in my life. You truly will never be forgotten.

He is the first artist who died that affected me like this. He was so sexy when he sang and his smile just melts your heart .I love thr way his band played at the end. Yes, Bowie had understood that Stevie Ray Vaughan was a genius, a genius of the Blues, present on his debut (rather unappreciated) in the 1982 Montreux Jazz Festival, helping him to make himself known worldwide. Unfortunately Stevie left us too soon... but left also some diamonds and an important mark of change for the music. Thanks for your comment.

1980s Macys visual merchandising. My Boss and I fighting over the cassette player. However , everytimr I hear this song I think of him and smile , dance and remember our flipping the tapes!!!!
I remember one time riding in an elevator in an office building with my dad. A muzak version of a Beatles song came on - and it actually sounded pretty good. My dad looked at me and said, "You know how you can tell if a song is any good? You can perform it in any different style and it will always sound like it was made for that style." Bowie is a genius - and this is an excellent tune!
