Always buy the brake pads for your specific BMW models.
Wow!!!, that's a lot to consider with that model (740), it will be a every day driver for me, at least I know what possibilities I will have to contend with, as with any car you will have some problem to deal with, well I must weigh my options and see, thanks so much for your helpful info!!!!!, and for getting back so quickly, I will keep you informed on what decision I will make about the 740. All the best to you Sir.

No problem.
Keep in mind that all BMWs have problems and the only way to prevent problems on your BMW is to drive your BMW very smooth and give a good maintenance.
By the way, I am in Fontana CA (50 miles from LA)
I can give more info about the 740 750 just ask me and I will respond as soon as I can.
How do I deal with the ebrake if I want to replace rotors as well
You dont have any video of the change on engine and transmision mount
Does this car have air suspension because mine has air suspension and I don’t want to ruin it when I lift trying to do the rear brakes and another question can you help me find the sensor because they told me on the check engine light that note that I needed to change the brake pads and the map sensor?
Hi don’t u need to wire brush the contact points before placing grease? Also why is it necessary to sand the rotor and what grit are you using? I typically only wire brush the hub and brake pad contact points. Any torque specs on caliper bolts and wheel lugs? Thx.
Perfect . Thank you ! Is any adjustement that must be done in computer for automatic cars, I heard that car breaks will stay on all the time
No adjustments needed for the F01 F02, the parking brake has a separate system. Just press the brake pedal 5 times with the engine running and that will be all.
I have a 2013 740Li, going to do my rear brakes, 2 questions, do you need the computer to reset the parking brake, I heard if you don't use it you could damage the piston while pushing it back in, 2 question, I heard you have to torque the wheel bolts after you put them on, any truth to these questions, your video made it so simple and quick?👍🏾
No, that is only for audi.
You need a computer to reset the service intervals but not to replace the brakes
Thanks for the info!!, I appreciate it, I'm on it👍
What size are those rear rotors. Like from the hub to the edge
u could prob spray some type of oil if u dont wanna take everything apart.
Mr. Francisco, just checked out your video, very good information, thanks for sharing, my question to you is, I'm looking to purchase a 2013/14 740i or 750i with the m-sport package, I'm seeing a lot coming in off of lease returns, with mileage at 35k to 50k, also I will be adding an extended warranty as well, I like the car and it fits me and the family well with the room it has to offer, my questions to you is, will this be an good investment to get into?, I hear a lot of stories of the 7 series, good and bad, I look forward to your response, thanks, I'm in Los Angeles.

740i/Li has a 6 cylinders straight twin turbo
750i/Li has a 8 cylinders V8 twin turbo
My recommendation to you will to buy 740i/Li (2011 and up) if you planning to drive the car everyday because you can save money on gas, this doesn't mean that the 740 has not problem still has problem with the electronic water pump, fuel injector, HP fuel pump, O2 sensors, drivetrain malfunction error, etc,..
The 750 has a bad fuel economy but it has a lot power but definitely will be a bad idea if you planning to drive it everyday
Buying the extended warranty will be a smart move.
@@franciscoamayaYT franzzo.....question.....i have a 2013 750i xdrive.....now can i do the rear brakes without any problems or do i need this computer that everybody talks about to reset the computer....please tell me so i can get this started
No you don't need a computer to replace the brakes
HI francisco, any idea why my cascadia is making noise in the brand New set of brakes on the steering? just one side
also the drum is New too, thank you
+Maikel Barreto Olavarrieta
Well, it could be contaminated with excessive grease, the brake are out of adjustment or the brake shoe or the drum are dirty with other materials.
Usually a good brake adjustment is all you need (you have to drive your truck for a while) but if this is not enough you to remove the drum and brakes and clean them with brake cleaner and sand paper.
Francisco Amaya ok thank you I will try it 👍👍👍
Does it need new a rear brake pad sensor?
Only if the sensor is bad but in some cases the sensor comes with the new brake pads kit.
