The popcorn co not answering immediately with a reason nor apologizing or offering solutions. I didn't hear if the money from last campaign was finally released.
Shocking that you all made that amount of money for them. Hopefully no-one buys from them now
I wouldn't use that company any more, even though they apparently unfroze the account and refunded the money.
I wrote to them as well. No response
They are afraid of a law suit.
And if you think about it, nobody’s ever raised that much money I guarantee in the history of of their company. They probably afraid they can’t meet the need.

It must have met their criteria, or they wouldn't have accepted it or let it go on for a year, so that means they either broke their own code.

It’s all about the contract signed.. a contract always has terms and conditions.. if they violated the conditions and terms then you have a case..

Amazing to me they don't understand this is national. It's not just one small area in one small state. These campaigns covered a lot of area and were only growing.
I think he is the only guy that works there.. a one man show.
Why not have a campaign just for fighting corruption in Mass?? Then you can advertise to the public and tell them it for Karen Read or whatever other situation you are advocating for in MASS they can be all different campaigns.
But don't you take 75% of profits you get in the name of Karen Read?
“They will not promote anyone who is on trial for hate, VIOLENCE…..” she’s sitting on 2nd degree charges. That’s the definition of violence. You’ll be hard pressed to find a fund raising endeavour that’ll back a murder suspect. I’m surprised the campaigns lasted as long as they did to be honest. Most companies wouldn’t back something like this cuz almost every convict in the system went to court singing Shaggy’s “It wasn’t me”. In the end it seems like the $ was paid out and I think ya’ll need to just be grateful you got to raise $65 k and just move on.
Brian while I agree with you they should have never allowed the fundraiser to begin with without looking into Karen’s situation. They are contradicting themselves though because they say they won’t allow fundraisers for anyone on trial for “violence” so I’d imagine being on trial for murder is violence. Although she’s not guilty the fact is she’s on trial. Makes zero sense.

What's the guarantee the money raised goes where its supposed to?
So basically they are holding the fundraising money hostage? Something feels shady. They un froze it then froze it again?. They either A. don't have the money to give, B. Used the money in their production since they are a "small company" what if they don't have the fund. Also by not explaining why via phone or email? That stinks even more, they don't want anything in writing.
Strange the guy you spoke to didn't have a way to contact someone right then and there? Like let me transfer.you. why not call his boss. He didn't even get back to you after telling you 5x that he would. Even when you followed up with an email he could have said "I am still working on getting this resolved for you" SOMETHING, but crickets? This leaves a bad taste in my mouth and doesn't sit right. Can they not pay the taxes on it?
