The two voices are the two representations of the force talking through them. I believe there is a book that details some Nightsister rituals as festivals and one of those summons the Sister and Brother. I believe they are able of using both the light and dark side. But utilize the dark side more
I'm not sure if this is still canon, but there was a nightsister called Charal who lived on Endor, and she had a talisman that allowed her to transform into a raven (and maybe into other things?) but it was destroyed. Also I think I read that the weird echo that you mention is "the spirits echoing the words of Mother Talzin" whatever that's supposed to mean.
hey, i stumbled on this video trying to learn more about the nightsisters and their magick. i'm in a star wars table top campaign with some friends and i have a character that could potentially use nightsister magick (still figuring out what i want for them haha) so it was suuuper useful to learn what exactly their magick is and how they use it!!
I'm currently hosting a cust DnD campaign and one of my players wants to switch characters to play a Nightsister (still level 1 characters in the first story arc). I like the idea so I said it'll be fine but I need time to research Nightsister magick so that's why I'm here as well. Also using the Nightsister bit as an excuse to bring back my old player character sooner than expected from a previous campaign as he is a red zabrak raised on Dathomir who was enhanced like Savage and still keeps in contact with the coven that helped him on his party's journey
Sequel trilogy would have benefited from using Mother Talzin over Snoke and bootleg Palpatine. I will make small changes to the sequels right now First Order < Imperial Remnant and slave traders the Resistance < The New Republic with Leia as Supreme Chancellor Exegol < Dathomir Ben Solo leaves Luke for Talzin and not Snoke Knights of Ren are all Zabrak males It would have been new to see different dark side users attempt galactic control and not the Sith. The Night Sisters vs Luke's rebuilt Jedi Order would have been amazing.
Talzin's dead though. But there was apparently a Nightsister Jerserra who killed an inquisitor and took her lightsaber. Maybe, at some point she would feel under the tutelage of Palpatine as a secret apprentice against Vader, his "Shadow Hand". But when Palpatine and Vader died aboard the Deathstar she went back to Dathomir and became a Clan Mother. She recruited the best of the Nightbrothers into the newly formed "Knights of Ren". m.th-cam.com/video/MvMNAyGD_Dw/w-d-xo.html This is the link to a video reimagining the First Order done by Templin Institute. I would have Jerserra replace Smoke as the Supreme Leader. After establishing the Knights of Ren, she covertly gathered what force sensitives she could and departed to the Unknown Regions. She met with the remnants of the empire who followed Palpatine's "First Order" and formed what would be the best of their new Sith empire "the Sith Eternal" where she ruled as "Supreme Leader".
dude i'm 4 minutes into it and it was already lots better than a lot of the big channels videos in the explanation, well done
Thanks, I do my best! 😁

Love that you casually referenced Battle for Endor! 😂

Amazing! So glad it was useful for the game, hopefully you find a way to use it in the story!
Don’t know if you’re still doing the campaign but this video shows a list of nightsister spells

That does sound really cool!
