Awww Kaelyn. Thar was beautifully said! ❤ You have made my favorite scene even more moving because of your awesome talent and beautiful spirit. I will think of you every time I see this scene. God bless you and your Mom and Dad. In Christ, Sandi V.
Kaelyn Reese You are such a lovely talented young lady!! I’m so glad you wrote that letter to Dallas and now all of us get to share such a wonderful experience with you! Glory to God!! I cried happy tears the whole video!!
I had watched this scene again and again, that look in Jesus's eyes for Nicodemus when he kneels to Him, His eyes shows the true love He has for us and the music you played just makes the scene one of a kind!! God bless you!
This is also my favorite scene in season 1. Then to watch this makes it that much more special. Lord bless you all for including Kaelyn in this historic project! Sandi V
I've already watched the Episode 5 times. This is indeed a precious gift for viewers and cast/crew alike. Amari is fabulous and the heart roots for him so hard! I can see Jonathan's eyes well up as he asks Nico to follow. The musical accompaniment in the moment is already a tear maker. I'm going to watch it again, now!🙆🏼♀️❤🎻🎼🎶🥲
I just watched this in a jail with my friend who also connected deeply with Mathew because he over thinks and analyzes just like Mathew. It was a beautiful experience. I show The Chosen in jail and the response is phenomenal.
Wow..that's was amazing..!!God loves every one and will transform to a new person.. He heal everyone , and understand us completely, God loves us even when we cannot love or we hate ourselves..
This show has impacted my life so much too. I have started praying everyday, reading the Bible everyday and feeling a very very strong connection with Jesus. I cry out to Jesus more often and feel His presence. I keep telling Jesus "I just want to have a personal encounter with you. I want to wash your feet with my tears like Mary did". Hopefully He will allow me to do it one day in the spirit or in a dream. I am in love with "The Chosen" and I can't wait for more seasons to come out. I keep watching the same episodes again and again and never get tired. This show has really brought me closer to Jesus again. I'm a huge fan from Pakistan. Kudos to the entire team, your reward is great in heaven 👍

I didn’t realize that about the character of Matthew - but there is something about him that is innocent and draws you to him - you feel sad that he is on the outside. That was amazing to incorporate that aspect into the story and amazing that Kaelyn recognized herself in Matthew. The Holy Spirit is really doing great work here. I think it’s because the creators are so genuine about spreading the Gospel in this way.
Amen! I didn’t make the connection watching Matthew but now I totally see! This show has been so great humanizing the people of the Bible. Absolutely wonderful. I started tearing just reading the email from Dallas before the video even started!! Once it did boohoo
It makes sense that Matthew has the job of tax collector. He doesn't fit in anywhere with his people. In truth if you are different in those times you were treated nit as well. But his math skills and quirks fit in perfectly. It also makes sense how he replies to Quintus when he talks to Quintus about Simon. Why would a Jew turn in a Jew? Quintus tells Matthew you don't have room to talk. Matthew replies that is different.
I have known her since she was a little girl. She is beautiful on the inside and out with a tender heart. She has flourished into a young women and is extremely talented. I am so proud of her to get this opportunity.
I’ve watched season one a few times, and that episode with Nicodemus several times... and I consider that one scene the most moving moment of the entire season. It’s my favorite scene!
Dearest Kaelyn, and proud parents Becky and Jeff. Your interview was so inspiring for me! I also love the Chosen and to know you played your Cello on that scene even makes it more special to me! My oldest Son is on the Spectrum. He is 45 years old and has basically had a friendless life! Seeing you gave me so much hope! Thank you so much for sharing and God bless you and your family!
Yet another example of why this series is so different and important. The desire to include the audience as well as treat them with such respect, is why this has been so successful. Out of every scene from all 8 episodes, that is the scene that I have rewatched more than any other. Now I know why. The emotional impact of the script, the lighting, the acting, the music and the Holy inspiration add up to be something truly momentous. Thank you all so much and God bless Kaelyn and her family and the entire The Chosen team.
Aww this is lovely. I have an autistic son and seeing Matthew on the spectrum means a great deal. Jesus accepted and welcomed him with love and kindness no matter his differences. My son has not always been accepted , he was left out and told he was strange and bullied, It broke your heart. But our saviour loves him exactly how he is. Thank you for this, amen 🙏🏻
I know right! Like this show could get any better than this! I kinda had a hint Matthew was on the spectrum, and now I have to rewatch the whole thing again. Love this show!
This is precious! My wife and I have 11 children. Two of them, boys ages 23 and 15, have Asperger's Syndrome. It's been challenging. Stories like this offer great hope and encouragement. It will be great to share with them that the Matthew character was created with their condition in mind. Also, I want to tell you that we LOVE "The Chosen" episodes. We're on our third time through them as a family. Every time we watch we see something we missed previously. It's enlightening. Keep making the episodes! Lives are being helped. God is being glorified. We are very much looking forward to season two. We've contributed financially and have promoted it to our thousands of Facebook followers. If we all contribute a little, this project can get done.
when God is involved writing the story of your life its so full of unspeakable joy, thrills and life more abundantly and that creates a foundation of hope to long for more of His presence.
I already can't make it through this scene with dry eyes (not much of a crier, so that should tell you something). Understanding Nicodemus' reactions as he sees Scripture being fulfilled before his eyes--the totality of his life as a devout Jew coming into focus--between the beautiful acting and the perfectly placed music, it just moves me like nothing else. Ever since seeing this video of Kaelyn's contribution, it's just added to the emotion of those final moments of the scene. God is so good.
Not kidding here, I remember absolutely not being able to contain my tears, just sobbing, when I heard the music played in that very moment when I first watched that episode. I had no idea this was the story behind it, and it touches my heart because I have two family members that are on the spectrum. God is so amazing!
I see the compassion of God displayed through this girl. My favorite scene in the Chosen is when Jesus talks with Nicodemus, and the cello part with stirs the emotion of that scene!
Very emotional. I have a nephew who has this and have a daughter who has her issues but both of them are very smart and talented. Children are gods angels on earth.
What a beautiful story. My son was also diagnosed with autism years ago along with other disabilities, including severe epilepsy. He went home to Heaven in 2017. I especially love Matthew. So thankful for The Chosen. It’s been such a blessing to me and I’m glad I was able to help fund this amazing series.
I can relate. My dad has autism, I have Asperger's and my son has autism. Three generations of quirky and misunderstood. We love The Chosen. I am excited to meet all of you in heaven. God bless you guys.
I'm musically inclined and I'm also an artist who felt left out and experienced being hated by people so I can totally relate to her and the charecter of Matthew alottt... this warms my heart 😭😭😭💙💙💙
Kaelyn is amazing. What a beautiful story to demonstrate how The Chosen’s decision to portray Matthew has impacted so many. She reached out and then Dallas chose to gift her with an experience of a lifetime! Loved her music in my favorite scene so far! Love the story!
WOW!!! Praise God!!!! Yall did awesome. Two of our God-Sons has Aspergers and we pray one day the world will accept them for who they are, Children of God with a special view of life. We love them and are so glad the Crew of The Chosen allowed Kaelyn to be a part of you special ministry.
I love how The Chosen included someone in the spectrum “different” Matthew role is brilliant ... the choice to have a role like this is very God like. 🧩
It is very God like to include people, but not 2 many recognize how autism expresses itself differently ìn different people who have it. God bless you.
Kaelyn obviously was 'The Chosen' one for this bit wherein she had to play her role for an epic series. Thanks Dallas and team for giving her such an amazing opportunity. Kaelyn, if you are reading this - Stay blessed, and keep working hard on your artistic talent. I wish you many more success! Praise be to God.
Tears. So well done. Kailyn and her parents should be so proud. What a gifted beautiful young lady. Wow. Parents made a good move by introducing her to music. What a wonderful awesome plan God has for all of you. I pray these messages continue to touch and encourage people and bring them closer to Him and that we all learn what truely an awesome God we have available to us. Thank you for producing the movie as well as these short clips.
I love Matthew too, I see myself portrayed there too. I am not autistic but just the feeling of not being part of things. We are all outsiders when it comes to God grace. We all need grace. Matthews played it well.
A TV show made with genuine God’s Love, in every single detail. Finally! I though I’m gonna never see that. I’m so happy. Congratulations to all. God Bless you all.
Oh wow she is playing the music in that scene of Nicodemus. I burst out crying when he broke down. So nice to meet her and know she is a part of this. I am actually fascinated with people who have aapbergers. I think they are special and we are underestimating them. They might just be in a dimension we aren't familiar with. I know several people like her and love chatting with them in discord. Thank you for introducing us to this precious child! God bless you and all your team Dallas.
If you're fascinated with Asperger's check out this powerful interview with one of the foremost scientists/apologists' in Christendom, Hugh Ross: m.th-cam.com/video/u1Aw9HAduhg/w-d-xo.html
@@RazorO2Productions Oh my goodness Razor I have been familiar with Hugh Ross for years and had no idea about him! I used to watch him all the time back in the 80s.
My heart goes out to her. My family has regarded me as mentally ill and incapable of doing anything worthwhile. I finally was diagnosed with a learning disorder. However, I did do well at University and graduated from Boston College, despite the fact they didn't want to, so it seemed. I have since realized that my difficulty is proper information processing. I have been onote trouble because of people's misunderstanding, including that of siblings. My parents are now both deceased.
Blessed are you, lord our god ... King of the Universe, who brings forth his own message through these beautiful episodes and the crew of "The Chosen". Thank you, thank you!
It's been three months since I'd seen that episode with Nicodemus. I still remember that scene and the music clearly. Well done, Kaelyn! I have a son with Aspergers, so the Matthew character development and your story are very relatable.
I'm battling with demons everyday...I speak to jesus everyday sometimes all day..I know the holy Spirit is showing me things ..the chosen has gave me strength..but I'm still weak..thanks Dallas for giving me this push of faith
You are so loved by God. In your struggle remember that his Love for you has existed before you were born. You are no accident! You are no burden! You were created with purpose and intent by God for His glory! May you feel His peace over you and may the Banner of His love cover you from darkness. Rest in Him, let him carry the weight in your heart. Be kinder to yourself. Your body is not to blame. God bless you.
God loves you So much! I pray that God's peace and presence falls on you. That U know His perfect peace. That U see Him more and more so that His Light drives the darkness away from your presence. In Jesus Name
Matthew is my favorite character as well....for the same reasons. I actually relate to both Matthew AND Simon ! I GOT that scene where Matthew draws that circle on the ground and puts himself outside it.....because that's me. Always on the outside of the circle...but it's ok because Jesus called me to Himself when I was about 12 years old (I'm 58 now) and has been with me ever since....never to leave nor forsake ! No matter all our trials on this end of Glory.....nothing is wasted ! God is sooo Good to us !
Hands down, my favorite scene of the entire first season! One reason...the music!! This is SO beautiful!! (Another reason...the way Jesus cradles Nicodemus’ head when they embrace.) Love, Love THIS!
That's a neat surprise to see Dan Haseltine in the music workings of The Chosen. Amazing how their portrayal of Matthew touched Kaelyn and moved her to reach out to the team.
Dallas, beautiful video with a beautiful girl. This is one of my favorite scenes in The Chosen but when I watch it again, it will always be with this girl in mind. Thanks for sharing this with us.
When season one came out, I noticed some of the movements Matthew made, but I did not know it was Asperger’s syndrome. At that time I did not know I was on the spectrum. When season two came out, I finally knew that I had Asperger syndrome as well. My mom is actually almost done with school to become a counselor. She’s the one that told me I have Asperger’s. Seeing Matthew blessed me more than anything. Thank you so much for all you do!!
This is amazing!!! She played so well and will forever cherish this moment. It is wonderful that the team collaborates in such a beautiful way! May God continue blessing you all!
I legit got teary eyed! That scene gets me every time. I think the story behind this scene, the music, about this young lady, makes it even more meaningful. God is good and He is perfect.
Kailyn is a special and talented young lady. This hits home for me. My grandson has watched the first few episodes with me and now I get to introduce him to Kailyn. He has Aspergers and my only grandchild that reads the bible, and believes Jesus is our savior. Thank you Dallas and The Chosen team.
God’s work is so obvious , his wisdom and plan, you can see where, who, and what he touches to make things work! It’s so inspiring in the making of this series! To God be the glory! 🥲🙏🏼❤️💓
There are many other great cello players, even better than her. No doubt about it. But.... she is CHOSEN. God works in a mysterious way. Girl, we love you, and we thank you. We are so proud of you. God bless you.
I love the music in your show. I've played violin since I was 7 and am now 63. My favorite is spontaneous composition. When I was a kid my brother and sister would have me put on classical music and tell the story that went with it. It's my dream to do this some day. But honestly, I already do this for Him. I am praying for your production and have been long before you ever started.
Me too. I've played violin for 50 years or so and love spontaneous worship. I've been side-lined the last few months with tendonitis, but it's getting better slowly. Love the music of this series and all these clips that help us stay connected (in addition to the Holy Spirit).
This is so beautiful. I’m watching this and I was just watching the chosen and felt Jesus speak to me that I was even crying and started to pray and now I’m seeing this…especially because recently I have been with so much pain and depression and…seeing what God is doing even in the life of this amazing cello player!! I would love to have that opportunity if you guys need a piano player or singer…if I can help I would love to as well or even acting!!!!!!! This story just touched my heart. I just have to say that you guys are doing such a great job!!!! I believe God allowed the chosen to play in theaters because he’s coming soon and he’s calling the church to come back to him. This show has just…I can’t explain it to you guys….it’s the best show and God has been speaking to me through this show like you don’t even imagine!!!!! God bless you guys so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean it.
I cry when I watch this now. It’s so moving and I too can relate to Matthew as I have a niece that has high function autism. Keep up the good work. I can’t wait to see more. I love you all and thank God for each and everyone of you.
My son is named after St. Matthew and he is on Asperger spectrum, too. I see so much in him as in character of St. Matthew. He is 12 and it struck me the most the scene where no one wants him to have a dinner with him and Jesus said you will make it. And it was so well made. I know that my son would do it so well, too, if he was on the place of St. Matthew. (sorry for my English, we are Croats, and Croatian version of the name Matthew is Matej (reed: Matey))
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for sharing this with me and for letting her play such a beautiful part in this production. I know it will not only impact her for life but also everyone who sees it! Much continued blessings as you move forward with THE CHOSEN! 🛐🙏🙌💜💜💜

I'm musically inclined and I'm also an artist who felt left out and experienced being hated by people so I can totally relate to her and the charecter of Matthew alottt... this warms my heart 😭😭😭💙💙💙
That is great!!! I'm so glad she has an opportunity to be a part
WHY DO YOU GUYS KEEP MAKING ME CRY!!!!!
Keep it coming! Thank you!
I will never look at that that part of the show the same
Indeed, and it already is one of the most awesome scenes of the show
Me to
Agree
Absolutely beautiful. That scene will mean even more now.
Oh my goodness. What a beautiful story. Kaelyn is amazing! Smart, talented, faithful!❤️
I love Matthew too, I see myself portrayed there too. I am not autistic but just the feeling of not being part of things. We are all outsiders when it comes to God grace. We all need grace. Matthews played it well.
Me too and same as me! ❤
Kaelyn you are a beautiful young lady. Thank you for listening to God and having the courage to step forward when you had the chance. Bless you dear.
A TV show made with genuine God’s Love, in every single detail. Finally! I though I’m gonna never see that. I’m so happy. Congratulations to all. God Bless you all.
This music and scene together with Nicodemus, that was so awesome, it deeply touched me.
Powder Thank you for your kind words about us. You have no idea how much they mean to us.

@@RazorO2Productions Oh much love and blessings to you!
@@terrycooper4149 I will do that right now Terry. Thank you!
@@RazorO2Productions Oh my goodness Razor I have been familiar with Hugh Ross for years and had no idea about him! I used to watch him all the time back in the 80s.
U guys are changing lives
My heart goes out to her. My family has regarded me as mentally ill and incapable of doing anything worthwhile. I finally was diagnosed with a learning disorder. However, I did do well at University and graduated from Boston College, despite the fact they didn't want to, so it seemed. I have since realized that my difficulty is proper information processing. I have been onote trouble because of people's misunderstanding, including that of siblings. My parents are now both deceased.
She is so precious! Thank you for the gift of you❤
Blessed are you, lord our god ... King of the Universe, who brings forth his own message through these beautiful episodes and the crew of "The Chosen".
Thank you, thank you!
Baruch ata Adonai...beautiful blessing you posted sister, tyvm and Shalom!
Amen!
If you ever need to talk to someone, I'm here to listen.
@@grayk7455 thanks..❤
You are so loved by God. In your struggle remember that his Love for you has existed before you were born. You are no accident! You are no burden! You were created with purpose and intent by God for His glory! May you feel His peace over you and may the Banner of His love cover you from darkness. Rest in Him, let him carry the weight in your heart. Be kinder to yourself. Your body is not to blame. God bless you.
God loves you So much! I pray that God's peace and presence falls on you. That U know His perfect peace. That U see Him more and more so that His Light drives the darkness away from your presence. In Jesus Name
@@dking1232 thank u debbie.. thank u
I see this project is far beyond anything we can wait. As you said, The LORD is taking care from the beginning. 😭😭😭
Incredible! This behind the scenes stuff really keeps us connected to the show between seasons! So glad you're sharing this information. Very special!
Yes-keep this coming Dallas!
When she start playing I start crying 😭 it goes through my vein, so blessed and beautiful. Thank you Jesus to have you all.💗🙌🏾
I am in tears here!!!!
Hands down, my favorite scene of the entire first season! One reason...the music!! This is SO beautiful!! (Another reason...the way Jesus cradles Nicodemus’ head when they embrace.) Love, Love THIS!
This is simply beautiful. Saying it with tears in my eyes. With tears of joy
WOW!!!! that was so touching screaming JESUS my heart is overwhelmed with JOY.
That's a neat surprise to see Dan Haseltine in the music workings of The Chosen.
Amazing how their portrayal of Matthew touched Kaelyn and moved her to reach out to the team.
HalleluYah ❣️🙌 I can’t even put into words what I’m feeling. This entire project is just an incredible tribute to the goodness of YHWH!!
Goosebumps! You Guys are Great! Thank God for all that you do!
Wow. Just wow. Kaelyn - what a beautiful contribution you made to that scene. Your music made me cry, girl!
Dallas and team,
Shalom! Thank you for this. Each time I view it, I get teary blessed.
Blessings,
Sheleen
This was the beautiful, I’m crying! What a sweet young woman, parents must be so proud!
@@janet-Spirit_of_the_Living_God thanks for sharing with me. I hope your tendonitis gets an see absolutely healed.
Your English is fine; much better than some of the people who have English as their first tongue!
You people are my heroes. This was amazing and now I will pray for her and your family every time I watch this scene. God bless you all❤️🙏🏼
I was already weeping before I even heard Kaelyn play. This moved me so much.
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for sharing this with me and for letting her play such a beautiful part in this production. I know it will not only impact her for life but also everyone who sees it! Much continued blessings as you move forward with THE CHOSEN! 🛐🙏🙌💜💜💜
Praise God! God bless you all ☦️
Such an epic scene to be a part of! Only one relationship matters in life and that is with Jesus Christ
If you were not invited or treated correctly they were and are not your friends... GOD is good and He wants us to have real loving ppl around us. It is wonderful that so many different ppl are looking into ways to connect with their faith through this show.
Wow! That is so inspiring! I couldn’t even tell Kaelyn was different! She is so cute and has a wonderful personality! What an amazing experience!
"The Aim & Final Reason of all Music shld be for the refreshment of the spirit & for the Glory of God" J.S. Bach - This is Love beyond just a Show but Exemplified. Thank you Chosen foe this..
Dallas, You and your crew have truly been anointed for this project. By NOT limiting who participates in the process is the BEST WAY to model Jesus. May the LORD continue to guide and bless you as this wonderful project continues. Bringing Jesus to everyone is such a calling. PLEASE continue to allow us to help you!
I am a cello teacher and this is wonderful to see, bless you Kaelyn and everyone at The Chosen.
A "lift your hands in joy" story, grateful to hear it!
I love the music on the Chosen
I never thought teens could impact the world, especially that at school we're always told to follow the status quo. I love the impact y'all are making
I have so much respect for everything and everybody that is making this show happen. This show is connecting me with the beauty of humanity. Often I had lost hope in people and felt this world was doomed for self destruction but thanks to this show I feel so much inspired and believe again.
You guys are so amazing! That was beautiful! The show is amazing everything is amazing! This has never happened before❤️❤️👌
That's right - Get used to Different! :-)
