Brandon’s voice, mannerisms, and that giggle are pure gold and magnetic in that you want to engage with him more. Between his brilliance and his delightful personality, The Chosen absolutely nailed this casting. Bravo to The Chosen and Brandon. Can’t wait to see more.

Please, make one of these for Gaius! I love him. His tough Roman attitude with the weak spot he has for Matthew is so adorable. While he admires Matthew's intelligence like Quintus does, I think he has a big brother dynamic that makes him genuinely concerned about his well being. He has a certain bond with Matthew's parents because of it that was delightful to watch. The series will have a hard time having "detestable villains" - and that's actually good. It is something that I think the writers should aim for. It's not only that the actors have such good chemistry and the characters are so interesting. I think it's also because a series about Jesus has the unique requirement of showing that every human being is in need of redemption, and that the Lord does want them all redeemed. For example, the Pharisees do have a side that is very good - they want to be faithful to the covenant. The Romans can be ruthless, but they are a reflection of a great Empire that doesn't know much else than might makes right, like Brandon points out here. Quintus may be vicious, but he is lonely just like Matthew is lonely. Matthew found consolation in riches, Quintus in power. Their wound is similar, and it's good that we look at Matthew following Jesus and being slowly healed, and think "I wish Quintus would receive and accept this grace too." It would be good to see even the nastiest characters have at least something that makes the audience look at them and relate. And as a counterpart, it is also good for us to see the most heroic characters fail, and be reminded that their heroism comes from God alone.
kitsch - agreed. I love studying this period; and scripture especially. Years ago, I had read something that Pilot "supposedly wrote" about Yeshua... Didn't believe it at the time, but there is some evidence that Pilot and his wife became Christians... it kinda makes sense looking back as I get older, because if you really read the end of the Gospels, this guy, really -REALLY did NOT want to execute the Christ - and I think was in a position where he was outright pressured to do so... kinda hoping Gaius and Quintas arrive at... well, the same conclusion as the Centurion who had the sick servant...
Quintus is one of my favorite characters -- Brandon plays him brilliantly -- he is so perfectly Roman -- good for Rome, bad for everyone else. As he notes, efficient, intelligent, focused. A really sharp knife in the Roman arsenal. (And it really does take intelligence to recognize intelligence like Matthew's.) Well played.
I immediately loved the character of Quintus. I don't know who Dallas was initially thinking of for the role, but I think Brandon plays him perfectly. His mannerisms (and delivery of some of the best lines) are so on point...."Why you're not a stain on a cartwheel is something we'll have many months to ponder." I love it. Thank you, Brandon and Dallas for giving us this interview and insight into the person Brandon and the character Quitus.
I wonder if Quintus will eventually be the Roman centurion who goes through with sacrificing the Son of God and then declaring “Surely he was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:54)
@@4july99 and when Gaius has his head bowed, Quintas asks Matthew "do you think I've made a mistake?" Gaius is shaking his head 'no' but then Matthew answers "yes" and Gaius drops his head even more, like "oh snap you've done it now Matthew." 😆 It's those kind of subtleties that are the perfect and relatable touches!! Can't say enough good about this show.
“I don’t think Quintus will ever stop clawing his way to the top, even when he’s at the top.” That is such a powerful statement. Revealing of the idol or gaping hole of the character.
Love Quintus! Even though his character is a antagonist, he is so fun to watch and see him interact with whoever he is with in this show. He is so talented and has a magnetic personality, and his facial expressions are so reactionary and full of energy. His time with Matthew is my favorite. While he is demeaning and sees Matthew as a function, it is clear he sees the “something special” in Matthew. I hope we see a lot more of Quintus in S:2. Super talented actor! My favorite bad boy of this show.
And also hate that we "have to hate".. Hard not to love quintus while the character is trying so hard to make us hate.. It's so confusingly interesting!!
@@Incrediblycurious123 “confusingly interesting” is a great way to put it. I just saw seasons 1 and 2 for the first time, after hearing about this show for a long time, and realized I liked this Roman praetor character, Quintus. That sort of surprised me! It’s because Quintus has personality and depth - he’s not your typical, one dimensional bad guy - and he’s played superbly by the actor, Brandon Potter. You know he’s the villain, but you can’t help but like him. I will be disappointed to see him exit the show.
At my age, there is some question whether I will be alive when the last 2 seasons are aired. But then, I already know the ending! I have enjoyed all that I have viewed.
I am 79 at present. I plan to see as much as will exist at the return of our Lord. I really think this is great and is a great tool for us witness with. Whatever happens with this, I've read the back of the book and WE WIN. If we stay here WE WIN. If the Lord calls you and I home before "The Chosen" ends, WE WIN. It is a WIN, WIN, situation. Only those that know the Lord can say that. GOD BLESS YOU, AND SEE YOU THERE.
The casting for The Chosen has been absolutely pitch perfect! I can’t imagine any other actors playing these characters than the ones who were chosen. A+ to the casting director and Dallas for pulling such fantastic performances from an exceptional cast!!! ❤️
Each dialogue has such a powerful effect. With such a great international cast, I believe Dallas put a huge jigsaw puzzle pieces wonderfully together. It couldn't be better. We are eagerly waiting for season 2 and more.
Quintus is not the character I find so distasteful, it's Shmuel! (love the way Nicodemus puts 'Shmuel' in his place when he so needs it) Quintus is power hungry, which we would expect from a Roman. What else does he have to strive for? Shmuel is also power hungry, but he should know better. Nicodemus tries to guide him but Shmuel uses subterfuge to get around him. He is the epitomy of the 'brood of vipers' John the Baptist has so aptly identified. I love the way Quintus baits Nicodemus and his interactions with Matthew are fascinating. Yes, Quintus is a bad guy but so artfully. Shmuel is also a bad guy but abhorrent in his raw jealousy.
Yes, Schmuel represents the Pharisee mind-set bent on following "The Law" of Talmud, and Jewish traditions - above all else. [funny side note: spell-check preferred "schmuck" to Schmuel.]
Brandon has given Quintus incredible psychological and emotional depth. It is fascinating to hear Brandon describe the complexities of his character. Clearly, this is why we are drawn into an intense, close-up experience, when watching his scenes. So well done. And, that single eyebrow lift? Yikes! Brilliant acting. Perfect casting.
Brandon is seriously intelligent! A mind like that was best for the role. He played it so well, I don't know if I were meet him, if I would shake his hand, run!.. or give him a mean side-eye from a distance. 😂 Well done Brandon 👏👏
Quintis is probably my favorite character! He shows efficiency, ambition, cruelty, arrogance, and yet some humanity. He stands out. GREAT Job, Brandon! You need to show one of these clips on IMDB! (One line in S1 about people not fearing soldiers on horses because they haven't seen anyone trampled to death stands out in my mind.)
If you love Brandon playing Quintas, check him out in the Eyewitness Bible Series. He portrays Doubting Thomas and of course he’s fantastic. As for The Chosen, my favorite interaction between Quintas and Matthew is when Quintas says “Of course you have a dog” Love that series.
The chemistry between Quintus & Matthew is priceless. Brilliant writing & "playing". And yes he is obviously a very intelligent guy. Hope he interacts with the fans & they write him in many episodes to come.
Brandon does a fantastic job playing a sharp, intelligent Roman soldier. When you dislike a mean character and then realize the person behind the character is not mean at all you kno there's one super good actor.
When I first saw Brandon Potter as Quintas... I thought he was John de Lancie who played Q on Star Trek series, or at least related to John somehow. His facial features and his voice tone and way of speaking sounds just like him! I know John de Lancie's real son played Q's son also on Star Trek a couple times and I thought Brandon might have been him, until I looked up who plays Quintas. I really enjoy The Chosen!! ALL of the actors/actresses each bring something... unique...in their own way to the series!! Thank you Father in Heaven for allowing such talent and gifted people to present Your History, TRUTH, and LIGHT to the whole world!!
Understandably, most of the "behind the scenes" attention has been given to actors who play the heroes in the story (Jesus, Matthew, Andrew, etc.), but Brandon plays the role of Quintus so incredibly well and I think he deserves more recognition for it.
Brandon Potter plays the part so well. And it's such a well written part. This show has everything - the greatest story ever told, re-told in the most beautiful, compelling, moving way. I can feel my heart breaking slowly.
I bet Quintus will be the Roman soldier at the end during the crucifixion that says "truly this is the son of God" 🤫🤯 (update: yes, or Gaius everybody 😂)
Now, Brandon is doing a great job performing the “heavy”, but when not in costume and character, he just looks like such a great guy. He looks friendly; like a guy you’d like to hang around with. Great job!
I love Quintus. I know we are not supposed to like him, but I can't help it. He is clearly competent, intelligent, and ambitious. But what I love most about him is that he appreciates what makes Matthew special. He sees that Matthew has more to him than what others see.
"We do get some criticism. I'm sure we'll get more. It just doesn't matter, because we've already made the decision." Spoken like a true parent. I appreciate you letting the haters know. Relax. We're not changing anything. 😐😇
My pastor said this one time Jesus himself had offended some people because he spoke the truth. So if your words and your work isn't offendint anybody then maybe you're doing something wrong.
Jesus loved and came for us sinners AND the Quintuses (Stalin, Hitler, Mao, etc...) of the world. Awe is the only word that comes to mind. Congrats to Brandon for such a high caliber performance and to Dallas for delivering the exceptional fish and loaves.
I loved his depiction of Quintus… His voice and expressions brought forth the depths of Quintus’ soul… the good, the bad, the ugly! Looking forward to seeing a lot more of Brandon! I find him wonderfully intriguing!
I so enjoyed "meeting" Brandon. These interviews enhance my love for The Chosen - in the scenes with Quintas my first words are "oh, this guy - what's he gonna do now" I find myself sitting up a little straighter in anticipation. I cannot imagine another actor as Quintas. Everything about The Chosen is brilliant.
Brandon is as intelligent and personable as Quintus! Casting perfection. So honored to finally “meet” Brandon. He is brilliant, passionate, fun and simply enchanting. Great interview.
Do people not understand what an actor does?! Brandon's excellent w/ his character! Thank you for teaching me to have "thicker skin". Every person casted is "perfect" for the roles! Unbelievably real & authentic! Brilliant! ❤👏👏👏
"Quintus" is one of the most realistic / non-realistic performances I've ever seen. Brandon makes the character come alive in a way that somehow is real and is not real. I have seen, and met, "Quintuses" in real life ... and somehow walk away with the "What was That?" feeling. Brandon is extremely good at that. Is this person for real or is he acting????? WHAT??? 😁
Quintos is played so well!!! And definitely one of my favorite characters of the show because of how well he is played! Plus his voice is great! Great character and casting!! Thank you Brandon and Dallas🙏🏼🤍
The way Brandon plays Quintus makes me want to see and experience Quintus deeper. Like slowing down to see the shock and dismay of a traffic accident. You know he's bad but you have to see more! Good acting.
Brandon’s portrayal of Quintus is superb! We can’t however get over the fact of how much he sounds like John de Lancie - especially in his Star Trek character Q. We love The Chosen and can’t wait for Seasons 2 and 3! This series has been part of our weekly family journey on Friday evenings during Lent this year. Thank you all for doing this! God bless you all!!
Quintus is my favorite character. I was so pleased to come across this interview! I did think that possibly the actor playing Quintus was a comedian, by the way he delivered his lines. He didn’t appear a villain to me, but then I grew up in the Deep South where prejudice had to be dealt with every day and reduced to a manageable situation. I likeMatthew because he’s not fearful of Quintus, and Quintus needs that acceptance.
What a joy to hear from our favorite "bad guy." As Believers, we knew there had to be a tender hearted man behind that mean veneer, but it's good to get to "see" that tenderness behind his eyes and a gentle tone. I think it helps keep the viewers balanced on what's actually being done, and the REAL talent being portrayed. THANK YOU, Quintas, for a magnificent performance and for believing in what you're doing.
Brandon, you have done an amazing job bringing Quintus to life. You make my skin crawl, frankly (but in a good way??) You portray him with this quiet confidence that says, "I don't have to raise my voice; I can have you executed with a twitch of my eyebrow." That kind of cold, still confidence is wonderfully creepy...
I feel like actors who play villains are extra talented because I end up disliking the villainous character and also end up carrying an irrational dislike for the innocent actor. Great work!
What I find fascinating: when I watched the first episode, Quintus immediately reminded me of the Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation. The Q also appears in the very first episode and taunts Captain Picard and sets the pace for the plot, and then later speed the plot forward in another episode. Brandon looks and sound like the Q, and his character's name begins with the letter 'Q' and he kind of taunts Pharisee leader Nicodemus. I immediately thought that there was inspiration taken from the Q from Star Trek. But either way, I love the character.
I loved Brandon from the first scene he appeared in and I even like Quintus because he has that feel of intelligence and personality, sort of like a cat who's enjoying playing with captured mice in every scene he's played! It really makes him a joy to watch even though his character has quite the potential for evil. I hope to see a lot more of Brandon/Quintus in the coming seasons!
As a Christian pastor teacher, I am so blessed by this series…I love the imagination and plausibility of the story and focus on the people around the Gospel story. You guys are right on track with this, I am going to support this project. I am now a regional director for Church Owned Bible Translation in Africa. I am encouraging my national pastors in East Africa to watch this. Thank you “Asanta Santa” I am praying for you and this project. I am writing this to share encouragement in spite of the crisism you are receiving. It has really made me think about my perspective as I read through the Gospels. PS: these actors are in the center of their calling and craft!
Each of The Chosen's main characters' performances were wonderful. I found some to be extra engaging, extra believable. For example, Quintus's expressions, moods, words, surprise and chuckle were all so perfectly timed, so natural, yet within the parameters of one who knows he's in control. Short but fascinating scenes. There are so many scenes in The Chosen where so much more is projected than just the words and actions. The script is AMAZING! And the actors bring life to each scene that, I believe, is blessed by God Almighty. Praying God continues to bless, protect, prosper, guide, and keep all involved with The Chosen in His all-powerful care in Jesus' name.
Brandon's performance was immediately startling and mesmerizing. Totally unexpected and fresh. I had never seen anything like it and especially on a bible retelling story. Wishing good things for this guy's career!
I really like the character of Quintus. He intrigues me in a challenging sort of way. The way Brandon plays him, he has this way of smiling with a wicked gleam in his eyes and his head slightly tilted to one side that makes it so perfect.
I have watched this before and both times it is just a delight to hear Dallas and Brandon discuss his roll and The Chosen. It is a shame Brandon has heard more from the fans. He does such an epic job in his role and I pray he is in more of the Chose,. Brandon you absolutely ROCK the Role of Quentis!!!!
I absolutely love how Quintus has been portrayed. Now that season 2 is out and the big meeting has happened I'm even more impressed. This whole show is just so amazingly done. You can feel God in every part of it. I love it.
I was lucky enough to go to school with Brandon Potter. Absolutely fabulous actor, his performance as Juliet's dad will live in my memory forever. I played Romeo's dad and it was like a toy truck taking on a Transformer lmao.
Thank you for this interview. Quintus terrifies me. Your performance captured the strength and imminent danger of the Roman oppression and made me feel like I was experiencing history. Excellent observation regarding it's success as administrators and soldiers. Thank you
I fell in love with Brandon's character from the moment he stopped Nico on the road.. I loved that line," What lives in the water and yet does not drown?" LOVE IT..
This series is beautifully done! The best I’ve ever seen! The characters are riveting and the background stories amazing! The use of conjecture, BRILLIANT! I will support this project financially.
He's one of my favorite actors. He's so legit, so natural and just flawless in his acting. He was really able to portray the role as perfectly as it should be. Dallas made the right choice of him to play Quintus. I love you Quintus, lol....I'm a fan.
Thank you so much for publishing this interview, allowing to know a little about Brandon Potter. He is an awesome actor, and does an awesome job playing Quintus. The background info that Brandon gave about he's performances in scenes was really good. This interview shows how passionate he is about his art and professional. Thank you Dallas Jenkins in your choice for the role. Brandon is spot on. You are an outstanding director and everything in between. I love love The Chosen, and can't wait for season 2.
Brandon does an amazing job playing Quintus. I said to my wife while we were watching an episode for the 3rd time that the high intelligence of the actor playing Quintus was showing through the character. It isn’t surprising to see now that the actor is indeed intelligent.
Love your format of the chosen! Two things come to mind; 1) I have the "Laughing Jesus" picture hanging in my home. People always ask me - did Jesus laugh? How could he not , I'd reply. Portraying Jesus with humility really connects his purpose. 2) Brandon plays his role brilliantly, but every time he talks he reminds me of "Q"( John de Lancie) from Star Trek.......... LOL it works for me. Dallas you are the Caravaggio of directors. Thank you.
Absolutely brilliant casting!! He does a phenomenal job playing his part and his voice is an added bonus. Brilliant actor and love how his desire for power and advancement and how he uses people to achieve his goals. Great interaction between him and Matthew. Indeed a villain you love and hate. Great interview with him.

The fact that Brandon Potter and Quintus come across as too very different people tells you how good of an actor Quintus is!! Also Brandon, this conversation made me realize that actors can be really smart people. The way you described your part demonstrated great depth of interpretation of the the psychology behind the role Dallas, casting all the super talent in The Chosen show, says a lot about your gift as a director and a leader. You are leading a high performance team and from a people leadership point of view, it's very interesting for me to watch.
One of my favorite Quintus lines is after he hears that Matthew quit to follow Jesus and he goes “.........😤 oh I really don’t like that man” 😂😂😂😂😂 I felt the frustration in that line like Quintus just lost his right hand man

Their wound is similar, and it's good that we look at Matthew following Jesus and being slowly healed, and think "I wish Quintus would receive and accept this grace too."
It would be good to see even the nastiest characters have at least something that makes the audience look at them and relate. And as a counterpart, it is also good for us to see the most heroic characters fail, and be reminded that their heroism comes from God alone.
I can see Gaius being _the_ centurion. You know, the one whose servant got sick...
@@florian8599 saaaaame!!!! I’m hoping!
@@florian8599 i hope the same thing haha
@@florian8599 I can see him being the one at the cross, too
kitsch - agreed.
Totally Agree! He is one of my favorites too :) I just love it!
That is one of the most brilliant lines I've ever heard: subtlety hilarious!
The same with "Matthew...you're so wonderfully....ODD!"
@@resarm5007
YES!
THAT ONE GOT ME AS WELL!! 😁
I wonder if Quintus will eventually be the Roman centurion who goes through with sacrificing the Son of God and then declaring “Surely he was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:54)
How can anyone give this a thumbs down? This is the best series I’ve EVER watched! God bless you all.
So love the way Brandon plays Quintus his little laugh is just so fun.
Susan Gourde yes that ‘giggle’ he does when Matthew tells him he’s made a bad call and poor Gaius thinks he’s about to die is just wonderful 😄
Yup😆
Genius pairing of these 3 characters/actors with Matthew, Quintus & Gaius - pure creative license correct?
I know right! If this show was about virtually anything else, well, I'd be rooting for Quintus! 🏅
@@4july99 and when Gaius has his head bowed, Quintas asks Matthew "do you think I've made a mistake?" Gaius is shaking his head 'no' but then Matthew answers "yes" and Gaius drops his head even more, like "oh snap you've done it now Matthew." 😆
It's those kind of subtleties that are the perfect and relatable touches!! Can't say enough good about this show.
Love this guy. He is very likable. He’s a great actor. I really like his laugh. Maybe it’s just me. The Chosen is awesome.
It's not just you!!!
Valerie Roache Yes sir! Like when he referred to Matthew’s machine. He had me there for awhile.
It is hard to hate such a cool villain! 😁😃
My daughter and agree.
It's not just you. His laugh is what attracted me to him at the start
His voice is perfect. So fitting for the part he plays.
Brandon’s voice is just perfect for Quintus, very good choice!
“I don’t think Quintus will ever stop clawing his way to the top, even when he’s at the top.”
That is such a powerful statement.
We couldn't agree more! Quintus "the actor fans love to hate".
I 🙏that you will be!
@@mildredmarbach5937 well if you’re not here to see it you will be seeing and meeting the characters in person or the spirit. Either way win win
Maggie with all that is going on in the world, we ALL may be meeting the REAL JESUS in person before this series is over. We know the ending...🙏❤️🤗
Maggie, you sound young and vibrant to me. Praying that you see the end.
The casting for The Chosen has been absolutely pitch perfect! I can’t imagine any other actors playing these characters than the ones who were chosen. A+ to the casting director and Dallas for pulling such fantastic performances from an exceptional cast!!! ❤️
Lorinda Fortuin This film is God led 🙏🏿
mylifesings amen!
Each dialogue has such a powerful effect. With such a great international cast, I believe Dallas put a huge jigsaw puzzle pieces wonderfully together. It couldn't be better. We are eagerly waiting for season 2 and more.
Agreed. God is doing a new thing here.
Dallas & Brandon have created an iconic character.
As millions of others, I'm anxiously awaiting season #3.
I bought all 3 seasons the most fun I experienced in a long time. I've binge watched it more than once.
Brandon does an EXCELLENT job as Quintas-I really hope that he is in future seasons.
I hope Maybe, Shmuel in next 4 seasons has changed
Absolutely agree!!!
Excellent ! Very much agree with you.
LOL! Even his character name sounds like a scientific classification of pond scum... "Shmuel"
Well done Brandon 👏👏
Safiya Brown that’s great acting sis. He’s such a genius
Brandon just nailed that role. I love his laughter toward Matthew. He just "killed" the role. I hope we get to see him again...in some role
He was excellent on the Eyewitness Bible Series. I watched it twice.
That my favorite as well!!
Does he have a big role in the bible??
Where can I find the Eyewitness bible series?

Exactly what I thought--kept thinking "who does this guy sound like?" I even looked up John de Lancie to see if Brandon was his son!
Same!

Understandably, most of the "behind the scenes" attention has been given to actors who play the heroes in the story (Jesus, Matthew, Andrew, etc.), but Brandon plays the role of Quintus so incredibly well and I think he deserves more recognition for it.
I love Brandon’s voice. just perfetct👌
Right!!??? His voice issa just incredible
I agree. His voice reminds me of the actor who played Q in Star Trek TNG.
Yea! V authoritative!
Blue Hart Thank you! I have said the same thing since the first scene he was in!

Brandon really has the voice to be Quintus. That's what I like about him now that you've introduced him to me in this way.
Brandon Potter plays the part so well. And it's such a well written part. This show has everything - the greatest story ever told, re-told in the most beautiful, compelling, moving way. I can feel my heart breaking slowly.
I love how excited Brandon got describing the development of the character, u can tell he has a real respect and passion for acting
I LOVE the line, “C’mon Matthew, keep up. So subtle but so memorable. And great acting...
I bet Quintus will be the Roman soldier at the end during the crucifixion that says "truly this is the son of God" 🤫🤯
(update: yes, or Gaius everybody 😂)
I hope he's the Roman officer who asks Jesus to heal his servant.
@@Conmezzo oooh good one too!
Or Gaius
literally just had the same thought! 😃
It might also be Gaius at the foot of the cross?
Now, Brandon is doing a great job performing the “heavy”, but when not in costume and character, he just looks like such a great guy. He looks friendly; like a guy you’d like to hang around with. Great job!
The actor did a phenomenal job portraying Quintas. Immediately, he frightened me! Really! 😳. I so appreciate these interviews!!!

I loved his depiction of Quintus…
His voice and expressions brought forth the depths of Quintus’ soul… the good, the bad, the ugly!
Looking forward to seeing a lot more of Brandon!
I find him wonderfully intriguing!
Quintus played by Brandon is a major highlight of season one and I just loved all of his parts! Thank you Dallas and Brandon!
We think he's pretty special too Erik!
I love this guy and how he plays his part. The interactions between Quintus and Matthew are very enjoyable. Just another reason to love the show. :-)
The way Brandon plays Quintus makes me want to see and experience Quintus deeper. Like slowing down to see the shock and dismay of a traffic accident. You know he's bad but you have to see more! Good acting.
He is a great bad guy, we agree, Jody! ;)
Quintus reminds me of the character "Q" from Star Trek Next Generation. Brandon plays the character very well. Thank you.
Yeah... Good description... my goose bumps perked up as you described him.. He's definitely hiding some major evil inside hehehe
my feekings - I just couldn't vocalize them so well.
I feel like actors who play villains are extra talented because I end up disliking the villainous character and also end up carrying an irrational dislike for the innocent actor. Great work!
Love him. My favorite line of his is, "Oh, I really don't like that man!" and the tone he uses!
Brandon is such a talented actor! I really enjoy the layers he puts in Quintus you see his humanity not just a villain so masterfully crafted!
So thankful Brandon decided to go to the audition...blessing for him and for us as well! Brilliant portrayal of Quintus!
Quintus was one of my favorite characters!!! Really made me feel the might of Rome.
He isn't just Brandon. He's Quintus himself.
I just love the casting from this show❤
Brandon's performance was immediately startling and mesmerizing. Totally unexpected and fresh. I had never seen anything like it and especially on a bible retelling story. Wishing good things for this guy's career!
Dallas, in the Chosen, you make the scriptures come alive for me. I love it. Thank you.
Cool interview, his acting as Quintus is so good. We get really scared with him on scene. 😂😁
I love Brandon’s speaking voice. That’s what makes his acting even more powerful.
This actor undoubtedly knows what he's doing. Thumbs up.
One year later and I still can't get over Brandon's great performance, looking forward to seeing Quintus again!
Very cool!
That’s so cool! He’s amazing. I could TOTALLY see him playing Lex Luthor, too!!
Thank you for this interview. Quintus terrifies me. Your performance captured the strength and imminent danger of the Roman oppression and made me feel like I was experiencing history. Excellent observation regarding it's success as administrators and soldiers. Thank you
Brandon is excellent playing Quintas!! Can't wait for more ! Love the way he says "I really don't like the Man". Great job on so many levels!
Really hope to see more of Quintus in season 2. Intelligently played, perfect choice!
I fell in love with Brandon's character from the moment he stopped Nico on the road.. I loved that line," What lives in the water and yet does not drown?" LOVE IT..

Thank you.
Brandon's voice is so good. It draws you in. You almost want to like Quintus because his portrayal is so good. Kudos to picking him in this role.
All are so perfectly cast!! Quintus is right on target. Awesome acting!!

I like this guy on the show. His voice is so perfect and his lines. He does his role so well
QUINTAS QUINTAS QUINTAS!!!! HAVE SOOOO BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE BEHIND THE CURTAINS WHAT THIS GUY IS REALLY LIKE! HES SO PERFECT! THANK YOU DALLAS! LOVE HIM. THANK YOU BRANDON!
The fact that Brandon Potter and Quintus come across as too very different people tells you how good of an actor Quintus is!!
Also Brandon, this conversation made me realize that actors can be really smart people. The way you described your part demonstrated great depth of interpretation of the the psychology behind the role
Dallas, casting all the super talent in The Chosen show, says a lot about your gift as a director and a leader.
