Every time he would come back to life, he became stronger and more 'mutated' and this was made possible because he was essentially unkillable ever since he got revived.

Nah. It was a smart choice. The CW's track record after Seasons 3 or 4 almost always plummeted in quality. This gives 'em a chance to end on a very high note.
Recently went abroad for a holiday. I watched this every time I was in a gin coma (which was nearly every day). It's just awesome. The fight we all wanted to see in a Man of Steel 3. Not BvS.
The saddest part is that Superman *is the only superhero in this universe* ,General Sam Lane said that:"If we only have your father on this planet *thank God that we do!* Because *he is the finest on any Earth* ." It means that in this universe Justice League or others greatest Superheroes don't exist.Will be honest,even with all Superheroes,full power and not holding back in comics only Superman could stop and kill Doomsday *to 1v1* "Because Superman-is the most powerful superhero on any universe." Man! I'm pumped for the final season! It's been a hell of a ride with this show! It's sad that this show is coming to an end, but nothing last forever. I always had emotional ties to the doomsday storyline in superman because we know that Kal-el isn't gonna make it. Doomsday is Kal-el's biggest threat & no being has pushed superman to the limit like Doomsday.
@@ShoaibAli-iz3kn not one bit, I just rewatched the season 3 finale before this clip dropped & it looks identical, that’s why when they dropped the cast from regulars to recurring I wasn’t worried cause it’s clear that extra money they saved per episode was gonna keep the budget in good hands plus it also helps that the episode count went from 15 in the first two seasons, down to 13 in season 3, to 10, less episodes saves money for the effects budget.
@@TheMarine316I don't completely agree, but I do agree for the most part. It definitely looks like they potentially cut the VFX budget. I do believe in part it's because they plan on having a big finale, and that's likely going to look better. For what was cut in the budget as a part of negotiations with nexstar and I understand the regular cast members being reduced to the Kent family and Luthor with the previous regulars being switched to recurring roles, the effects could look much worse. Some of the other preview footage looks a bit more promising. This still looks better than what occurred with most of the other DC CW shows regarding rushing VFX(stargirl, Superman and Lois, and certain seasons of Legends of tomorrow were exceptions). Even when Warner and Paramount jointly owned the majority of the network. There is time between now and the premiere in October, so that may change a bit. Filming began in January and wrapped in April, so there is a chance that the first few episodes will look more polished. Extensive VFX does take a lot of time, and this could be unfinished.
@TheMarine316 the CW shows all had decent SFX. Sometimes they were bad but overall were decent. Black Lightning actually had the best FX of all the DC/CW shows, even the FX for their Crisis on Infinite Earths episode was good. I'm talking about the episode leading into Crisis.
@@Whoo_Boy some shows were better then others but in the later years of CW most effects were pretty piss poor, Superman & Lois have always looked great but they had a bigger budget then a standard CW comic show, their effects look almost flawless for a tv show budget.
It does look more like the comic, but original doomsday didn't have heat vision or any 'powers' outside insane strength. This guy is apparently bizzaro superman, so some of Kal-El's powers too, it seems. I do like how they are humanizing it. How superman is almost looking frail, but he keeps going knowing what's at stake. It would've been cool to recreate the blows in a city, where some of the body shots create a shockwave that shattered a skyscraper's windows.

From what was shown, this fight is epic, and I can't wait to see how it concludes.

Does anyone else like the asymmetrical design of Doomsday here? I kind of wish they would make that a design thing with him after this, like in that one concept art of him for Injustice where his whole left arm was covered in bony spikes. Like I get that is adaptive power goes to his entire body, but special visual reinforcement should be you where he was killed at.
This show is amazing! Very family oriented, his family is his strength; great cast as well. Suck they cancelled it. Really hope they give it a proper ending. And I enjoy the BvS, ZSJL references 🤙🏼
I love 2 reasons for this. The first is Superman can fight all out. The second thing is Superman is fighting basically what he would be if he was evil and not talking about the looks.

Here With Tyler's Superman, we got 3 seasons to connect with his character before he died, it's another main reason Superman works better in a tv format as opposed to a movie
@@kevincrispino1262 Not really what I meant. What I meant was that something like a major character’s death doesn’t need to be telegraphed to the viewer beforehand. People like to say that the BvS fight sucked because it was in the second movie, claiming that they didn’t “build up to it” but that’s the point. Death isn’t something that gets a massive build up. Death is sudden and unexpected.

Look Henry was excellent but this has been the most consistent and emotional Superman storytelling In the last decade. I feel way more for hoechlins Superman than I do for cavills but that’s not his fault obviously he had bad writers
Technically, Doomsday would be mostly helpless in space since he is not supposed to have the power to move himself around in space without pushing off something. Releasing energy from his eyes would propel him, but that's about it. Put him far enough in space, and he wouldn't have enough energy to keep changing direction. There is a good chance he would just end up spinning and dizzying himself.
I could live without the high school drama part of the show, but that part didn't take the show down it actually got better, it's a really really good show.
They should stick to what they have been doing last few seasons, just use CGI as sparingly as possible. This show does not have the budget for it and it shows( at least in this video). Remember those panning shots of the House overlooking the crop fields and the emotional slow music, that was S&L at its best.
It will definitely be fascinating to see how The Death of Superman - as well as the hero's eventual resurrection - will be handled within the context of Superman & Lois. Even though Superman & Lois tends to follow the comics for most parts, they have also been open to creative modifications. With Superman & Lois season 4 being a few months away from its two-hour premiere, time will tell what else upcoming marketing will showcase for the final season.
What do you guys like about Superman in Superman the thing that I like is that he a accurate representation of how Superman should act never chosing violence always trying to find a another way to make sure no one gets hurt only fighting if it’s necessary.

I love 2 reasons for this. The first is Superman can fight all out. The second thing is Superman is fighting basically what he would be if he was evil and not talking about the looks.
S&L Doomsday fight > BvS Doomsday fight. Any day.

@@kevincrispino1262 It really isn’t. The BvS fight had a more interesting take on the character and made the death feel sudden and unexpected. Whereas with this you can see it coming a mile away because the story gives you the impression that he’s going to die

@@kevincrispino1262 You also really shouldn't kill Superman when he's just became Superman lmao, makes him feel like a bum and it loses any impact his death would have had, because you barely got any time to connect with the character before his death, therefore you don't care, Henrys superman died two movies in when it should have been way further down the line. Here With Tyler's Superman, we got 3 seasons to connect with his character before he died, it's another main reason Superman works better in a tv format as opposed to a movie
@@kevincrispino1262 Not really what I meant. What I meant was that something like a major character’s death doesn’t need to be telegraphed to the viewer beforehand. People like to say that the BvS fight sucked because it was in the second movie, claiming that they didn’t “build up to it” but that’s the point. Death isn’t something that gets a massive build up. Death is sudden and unexpected.
as its CW show and a 2hr episode, he'll return before the end, kill or somehow remove Doomsday as a threat and return to his family and next episode everything back to normal
Clark’s face at 1:11 is basically like oh come on but I he knew he was going to die so he gave it everything he had left.
It's amazing how he's taking deep breaths in space. And here I thought his ability to create thrust to fly in space was impressive. 😂

Look Henry was excellent but this has been the most consistent and emotional Superman storytelling In the last decade. I feel way more for hoechlins Superman than I do for cavills but that’s not his fault obviously he had bad writers

It's crazy that this low budget tv show is doing a better job with Doomsday than the high budget Batman V Superman movie
Technically, Doomsday would be mostly helpless in space since he is not supposed to have the power to move himself around in space without pushing off something. Releasing energy from his eyes would propel him, but that's about it. Put him far enough in space, and he wouldn't have enough energy to keep changing direction. There is a good chance he would just end up spinning and dizzying himself.
Has Supes not chucked him into the sun? That's what I'd pick.

I could live without the high school drama part of the show, but that part didn't take the show down it actually got better, it's a really really good show.

They should stick to what they have been doing last few seasons, just use CGI as sparingly as possible.
This show does not have the budget for it and it shows( at least in this video).
Remember those panning shots of the House overlooking the crop fields and the emotional slow music, that was S&L at its best.
After seeing the flash and supergirl and how disappointing they turned out to be. This show is the best one in the entire CW
That's a never ending battle
It will definitely be fascinating to see how The Death of Superman - as well as the hero's eventual resurrection - will be handled within the context of Superman & Lois. Even though Superman & Lois tends to follow the comics for most parts, they have also been open to creative modifications. With Superman & Lois season 4 being a few months away from its two-hour premiere, time will tell what else upcoming marketing will showcase for the final season.

What do you guys like about Superman in Superman the thing that I like is that he a accurate representation of how Superman should act never chosing violence always trying to find a another way to make sure no one gets hurt only fighting if it’s necessary.
