what I'm noticing about the Chinese version of pvz2 is that it uses pvz1 mechanics where theres always a certain plant for certain zombies in every world
So as long as the bass zombie is playing, the speaker will send out shockwaves, hence why the speakers don't send out shockwaves if it's defeated or frozen whilst still sending shockwaves even when the zombie is hypnotised
As someone who complains about the lack of unique zombies in many of the worlds, here are my takes on these ones and how I would personally adjust them if they were in the international version: Lost Doctor - I actually really like this idea. He isn't too strong, and all he does is slow your plants a little. I think the boosting the speed of zombies when they're almost at the end is honestly kind of pointless though Lost Guide - I like his concept, however as someone who really doesn't like it when zombies just appear midway through the map because you have barely any room to actually counter them, I have an idea to slightly alter his ability. Instead of having him make an exit 4 tiles ahead of the entrance, I would have it so he makes an exit only 2 tiles ahead BUT have it be in any of the other lanes. This way, it doesn't make zombies go too far into the map, but it still keeps the unique ability only the Lost Guide can do. Also, because he finds a "secret tunnel," I think having it go into a different lane makes more sense because it's like "going through a secret path to find the treasure" instead of just "here's a secret path....that goes only a few meters ahead from where you were" - I like having the Jackfruit as an option to counter the tunnels Bass Zombie - It's cool that they're implementing Dr. Zomboss's speakers into a zombie, but I don't want them to be a common occurrence. Since they easily destroy your plant every 5 seconds and that you also have to destroy his speaker, I think only 2-3 should appear each wave in different lanes instead of having a whole column of them. There's already so many crazy things happening in Neon Mixtape so I think limiting the Bass Zombie makes it so that they don't feel overwhelming yet still brings new challenges - I guess another thing they could do is have E.M.Peach disable the speakers, but since they don't disable stuff like the arcade cabinets or the boombox, it's unlikely they'd do that (I wish they did) Egg Pusher, Eggshell Imp and Egg Stealer Imp - All 3 of these zombies are very similar with each other, and in my PERSONAL opinion, they all have one main issue. They are WAY too tough, even though they're Imps, which are normally just supposed to be a normal zombie but slightly faster. At least you can magnet the eggshell, but the other than that, I think at most they should only be "protected" and not "hardened." Same thing when the eggs are just sitting on the map. Cherry bombs should be able to break them in one hit - There also shouldn't be too many showing up at once, since they're so strong and causes so much mayhem on the screen - I like the concept of the dinosaurs coming in, like the Brontosaurus, and that there are some plants that can counter them. My only issue is that having Perfume Shroom, Dinonip and Thorns would take up 3 seed slots and that could potentially be a problem when picking out your plants Digger Zombie - Glad they brought back another old zombie, even though he looks kinda weird lol nothing much else to say about them except that I wish you can blow them up while they're underground. I wish they brought back a couple more classic zombies from the first game, but oh well Riot Police - Personally I'm not too huge of a fan. Modern Day already has really obnoxious zombies to deal with already, and having an Octo Zombie equivalent doesn't make it any better. At least you can get rid of the smoke, but you're still dealing with a strong zombie. I think it would be better if they don't throw often, and that the smoke only stops plants for 5-8 secs then disappears. Plants that can hit through the shield should also be able to take them out faster, like Fume Shrooms, Snapdragons, Bonk Choys, Laser Beans, etc. Solar Car - Same with the Riot Police, I'm not a fan because it's also just really annoying. I also feel like this zombie should've just been in Far Future honestly. It's strong and literally deletes your plants. If Spikeweed/Spikerock can immediately take them out, then maybe they're not too bad but they're still really strong Overall I think some of these zombies would be really annoying to deal with if they were added in the international version, but if they were reworked a little, I wouldn't mind. I hated that some worlds had barely any new zombies (especially BWB and Jurassic Marsh) so it would've been cool to see these zombies in the game
Just commenting to say I appreciate the effort you put into giving your thoughts on the zombies, I feel like the syringe zombie's ability to boost zombies should target the first three columns right to left instead of left to right
@@sleepyjoe-fu5bo To be fair... The Chinese games are made by a different team... So you can't really blame the other team for that.... (Though yes... Admittedly both of them definitely seem to be high...)
The reason Jurassic Marsh Imps don’t get affected by The Imp Pear its because they are closer to Regular Zombies than Imps thanks to their speed and durability and them not being and for the Potions they do not have sprites or any way to have the effects active since most of PVZ2 Chinese does not make use of em in any challenge only the Syringe (i think) affects them and if not it could be another one
My thoughts on these zombies being added (part 2) Doctor zombie: Like the concept of a zombie that slows plants down but I dont think he fits in this world and I dont like how he just trows them tbh Cave explorer: Besides the bugs I actually like him a bit. He would definatly add some more variety to the world Bass zombies: They seem good and they also introduce the mechanic for the boss fight... But neo mix tour has to be one of the spamiest insta kill levels in the whole game. They arent bad but the level design should be changed to make the levels with them playable Every single dude in in Jurassic March: while 2 have basically the same mechanics I like em. Plus I like all the effects of the eggs (Minus T rex) Miner zombie: Great but like... Why isnt he in the world about mining. You know... The world that could really use some more zombies Police zombie: He might be from adventures. Idk. But honestly he doesn't fit. Maybe remove the smoke but eh dont really care. Car zombie: That has to be the weirdest zombie ever. I like how unlike the other zombie that steal your sun he Is actually challenging. Dont really know why he has a meter and I wouldn't die to have him in as it's not from another Pvz game (exept he might be from adventures)
Steam Age? i don’t think miner would fit perfectly there. It’s supposed to be the Industrial Revolution, and he does not look the part. if you know anything about Garden Warfare’s development, i think Foot Soldier was supposed to be a Riot Zombie, but was changed due to being “not funny enough”. no wonder he doesn’t fit, he’d never make it into the international PvZ2 release ever.
Can't and will never happen due to the agreement TalkWeb Games and PopCap made to get the game released in China. (If you want elaboration I'll gladly give it, but it's pretty lengthy)
Just something to say: The Chinese exclusive plants have a really different leveling system and I hope you can make a video about those plants with the leveling part.
the dinosaur egg thing seems like a pretty cool function if they removed the trex egg, but most of these seem like their code is a mess, or are just bad ideas. Or both.
Informative but that digger zombie headless Sends a chill down my spine when you look at in a bright game like this especially with that music box theme from the first game
17:22 According to all known abilities of Infinut, there is no way a Zombie should be able to pass their shield. It's so unbelievable broken that no Zombie should pass it. The Egg Stealer Imp, of course, passes it anyway, because Imps don't care what humans think is impossible.
Flat Shroom - Can't even properly counter the gimmick it's supposed to counter and can be taken out by zombies he's trying to block Jackfruit - Counter the gimmick it was built for, destroys all zombies in the tunnel, and can be used for other things. This game is wild.
"let's make a zombie that you literally can't do anything about unless you have this specific plant". i really like these zombies that are supposed to be hard to beat but the new plants ruin them
4:10 i like, how chad guard's face expression changed after lost guide zombie created a tunnel "hey yo. What have just happened. What is going on what a hell am i standing on"
The thing with these videos is that, out-of-context, showing all of these zombies in swans of itself, they seem overpowered. I don’t know if they were made more rare to compensate. If there’s wave after wave where +5 Egg Pusher Imps and Riot Police Zombies appear, then it’s, put simply, broken in favor of the zombies.
i get the feeling that Solar Car is one massive bug like, being able to use a solar laser to destroy a plant when it's charged as opposed to just pushing makes much more sense than what it is now accidentally swapped the attacks and never fixed it?
I dislike how some plants get affected and unaffected in certain illogical ways from zombies. A poisonous mushroom who's covered in smoke still gets the job done when eaten, yet a chili bean can't do the same but has the same exact purpose? Makes total sense!
I like how Digging Zombie is one of the few Chinese exclusive zombies that would logically be able to affect ground plants, yet is one of the few that can't
The Garden Warfare games were both supposed to implement one, but he got cut both times. There’s a lot of unused data floating around; it’s pretty easy to find.
What I’ve learned is that all of these are good ideas, but for each and every one of them there was one thing that made me go “that’s kind of stupid” to. I could see these in the international one with tweaks made to them
It's kinda fitting how the police zombie cannot target specifically Torchwood, like it's a protest vs police moment u usually see. At least they got that good
if you know about Garden Warfare’s development, Foot Soldier was apparently supposed to be a RIOT Police Zombie, but was changed due to being “not funny enough” no wonder. RIOT Police Zombie seems pretty brutal.
I have some fanmade zombies made by me : Lost City Tribe imp - a tribe imp wears a mask of the golden thing in lost city it can be with bow and arrows or blow darts Neon mixtape tour Record player zombie - a record player zombie can play a song that stuns plants not making them attack ( yes its like boombox zombie but diffrent ) but when the record player gets destroyed the record player zombie will throw music discs at plants Jurassic Marsh Dino imp rider - it rides any dino ( except the pterodactyl ) Versions Stegosaurus imp rider - basically throws imps like a catapult ( it can also throw rock(s) sometimes ) Raptor imp rider - eats plants in 1 - 5 bites T-rex imp rider - stomps plants on 2 lanes Ankylosaurus imp rider - smashes plants in 1 hit Modern day Dog walker zombie - walks dog(s) sometimes the zombie can have 1 - 7 dogs and if the zombie dies the dogs will scramble all arount the lanes Taxi zombie - drops off 1 - 5 zombies
I love how most of the budget is in Jurassic Marsh. The details and animations are SOOO good. Even the sprites are very consistent to the international version. Sad that the quality stopped there though.

So as long as the bass zombie is playing, the speaker will send out shockwaves, hence why the speakers don't send out shockwaves if it's defeated or frozen whilst still sending shockwaves even when the zombie is hypnotised
As someone who complains about the lack of unique zombies in many of the worlds, here are my takes on these ones and how I would personally adjust them if they were in the international version:
Lost Doctor
- I actually really like this idea. He isn't too strong, and all he does is slow your plants a little. I think the boosting the speed of zombies when they're almost at the end is honestly kind of pointless though
Lost Guide
- I like his concept, however as someone who really doesn't like it when zombies just appear midway through the map because you have barely any room to actually counter them, I have an idea to slightly alter his ability. Also, because he finds a "secret tunnel," I think having it go into a different lane makes more sense because it's like "going through a secret path to find the treasure" instead of just "here's a secret path....that goes only a few meters ahead from where you were"
- I like having the Jackfruit as an option to counter the tunnels
Bass Zombie
- It's cool that they're implementing Dr. Zomboss's speakers into a zombie, but I don't want them to be a common occurrence. Since they easily destroy your plant every 5 seconds and that you also have to destroy his speaker, I think only 2-3 should appear each wave in different lanes instead of having a whole column of them. There's already so many crazy things happening in Neon Mixtape so I think limiting the Bass Zombie makes it so that they don't feel overwhelming yet still brings new challenges
- I guess another thing they could do is have E.M.Peach disable the speakers, but since they don't disable stuff like the arcade cabinets or the boombox, it's unlikely they'd do that (I wish they did)
Egg Pusher, Eggshell Imp and Egg Stealer Imp
- All 3 of these zombies are very similar with each other, and in my PERSONAL opinion, they all have one main issue. They are WAY too tough, even though they're Imps, which are normally just supposed to be a normal zombie but slightly faster. At least you can magnet the eggshell, but the other than that, I think at most they should only be "protected" and not "hardened." Same thing when the eggs are just sitting on the map. Cherry bombs should be able to break them in one hit
- There also shouldn't be too many showing up at once, since they're so strong and causes so much mayhem on the screen
- I like the concept of the dinosaurs coming in, like the Brontosaurus, and that there are some plants that can counter them. My only issue is that having Perfume Shroom, Dinonip and Thorns would take up 3 seed slots and that could potentially be a problem when picking out your plants
Digger Zombie
- Glad they brought back another old zombie, even though he looks kinda weird lol nothing much else to say about them except that I wish you can blow them up while they're underground. I wish they brought back a couple more classic zombies from the first game, but oh well
Riot Police
- Personally I'm not too huge of a fan.
Solar Car
- Same with the Riot Police, I'm not a fan because it's also just really annoying. I also feel like this zombie should've just been in Far Future honestly. It's strong and literally deletes your plants. If Spikeweed/Spikerock can immediately take them out, then maybe they're not too bad but they're still really strong
Overall I think some of these zombies would be really annoying to deal with if they were added in the international version, but if they were reworked a little, I wouldn't mind. I hated that some worlds had barely any new zombies (especially BWB and Jurassic Marsh) so it would've been cool to see these zombies in the game
Just commenting to say I appreciate the effort you put into giving your thoughts on the zombies, I feel like the syringe zombie's ability to boost zombies should target the first three columns right to left instead of left to right
Dino Pusher Imp honestly looks pretty cool if it wasn’t for the T-Rex egg
wtf were they on when they designed that holy crap
The same shit as when they made gw1 and gw2
@@sleepyjoe-fu5bo
To be fair... The Chinese games are made by a different team... So you can't really blame the other team for that.... (Though yes... Admittedly both of them definitely seem to be high...)
20:56 We need horror mini game like this
Your editing got realy better!
Will you be going over the plants?
The Chinese plants look goofy
@@snapt3x280 goofy ahh plants
@@snapt3x280 Wow, a series about goofy living plants fighting goofy zombies in goofy historical periods have goofy designs in them, the horror.
I love how the Jurassic Marsh is more than just zombies, the dinos are alive and doing their own stuff
A glorious return for the lost digger zombie, even if it’s in a Chinese version of PvZ2, it’s nice for it to return with some brilliant graphics too!
My thoughts on these zombies being added (part 2)
Doctor zombie: Like the concept of a zombie that slows plants down but I dont think he fits in this world and I dont like how he just trows them tbh
Cave explorer: Besides the bugs I actually like him a bit. He would definatly add some more variety to the world
Bass zombies: They seem good and they also introduce the mechanic for the boss fight... But neo mix tour has to be one of the spamiest insta kill levels in the whole game. They arent bad but the level design should be changed to make the levels with them playable
Every single dude in in Jurassic March: while 2 have basically the same mechanics I like em. Plus I like all the effects of the eggs (Minus T rex)
Miner zombie: Great but like... Why isnt he in the world about mining. You know... The world that could really use some more zombies
Police zombie: He might be from adventures. Idk. But honestly he doesn't fit. Maybe remove the smoke but eh dont really care.
Car zombie: That has to be the weirdest zombie ever. I like how unlike the other zombie that steal your sun he Is actually challenging. Dont really know why he has a meter and I wouldn't die to have him in as it's not from another Pvz game (exept he might be from adventures)
i like the car zombie lmao
Steam Age? i don’t think miner would fit perfectly there.
@@coloringtongueanimations5350 good for you
@@ExBronyPony I think they mean Wild West as that is the world with a MINEcart zombie
@@noahtaylor1721 Maybe Lost City cuz his pickaxe could be quite useful for mining gold to fund Zomboss' creations
By the way, I think dinosaur stampede is the only time we see the whole bodies of Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus and T-Rex. Also I like its animations
As far as I know, they only exist as head sprites in the international release, and Brontosaurus doesn’t even exist.
@@scarymeunster9095 yea
Some of these zombies I would like to see in the international version except for the horse rider and egg imps
What about the clam zombie?
@@Flashlightpistolman9753 that too
Can't and will never happen due to the agreement TalkWeb Games and PopCap made to get the game released in China. (If you want elaboration I'll gladly give it, but it's pretty lengthy)

I just want to say, what the heck were they thinking when “yeah let’s make 2 non-imp imp zombies both carrying eggs with barely a difference”
Just something to say:
The Chinese exclusive plants have a really different leveling system and I hope you can make a video about those plants with the leveling part.
I’d really like to see mod creators to remake these zombies (and the news plants too) in a more balanced and fun way
Thank you providing us with more of this content :)
No problem!
"Lost doctor Zombie throws syringes to attack"
1. That is terrifying
2. That is incredibly impressive... The guy would be an amazing darts player
You should analyze the Chinese exclusive plants as well like showing how much damage they do or how they attack
12:06 imagine if this would happen in the international version, lots of players would be scared shitless
Why not? Haha stampede could almost destroy all your garden 😃
the dinosaur egg thing seems like a pretty cool function if they removed the trex egg, but most of these seem like their code is a mess, or are just bad ideas. Or both.
Lost Guide’s tunnels are just temporary teleport stations if you think about it.
Sure, Jackfruit, but it’s kinda like a death-teleport thingy.
It’s telefragging
@@Flashlightpistolman9753 you're right.
Informative but that digger zombie headless
Sends a chill down my spine when you look at in a bright game like this especially with that music box theme from the first game
21:26 Okay, that was actually hilarious
Never assgrab a digger.
I wish that the egg pusher imp was in Vanilla Pvz2, it would have made Jurassic Marsh more unique
Part 1 : *Chinese devs bullying Potato Mine*
Part 2 : *Even more Chinese devs bullying ghost pepper*
*bullying ghost pepper and praising infinut*
@@lebollsong sometimes not, like with egg stealer
I wonder who they are gonna bully next
Part 3: bullying cherry bomb
@@BloxTheBloxxer GNVS wouldn't be too happy about that
egg pusher imp kinda neat because it adds more stuff for the dinosaur other than just pushing zombies making it near our house
Chinese version has really good ideas but they are very buggy. They could be added as additional level onto the international one
20:43 dang that was freakin creepy
17:22 According to all known abilities of Infinut, there is no way a Zombie should be able to pass their shield. It's so unbelievable broken that no Zombie should pass it. The Egg Stealer Imp, of course, passes it anyway, because Imps don't care what humans think is impossible.
Nice Bee movie refence
Flat Shroom - Can't even properly counter the gimmick it's supposed to counter and can be taken out by zombies he's trying to block
Jackfruit - Counter the gimmick it was built for, destroys all zombies in the tunnel, and can be used for other things.
This game is wild.
The Chinese-exclusive zombies from Jurassic Marsh are truly insane, together with the baby dinos and their parents.
They did a good job adding unique zombie to the game
Bravo!
Love the humor in these videos too.
Thank you!
21:06 Deserves a slap for allowing him.
"let's make a zombie that you literally can't do anything about unless you have this specific plant". i really like these zombies that are supposed to be hard to beat but the new plants ruin them
XD FOREST
Your videos are amazing, great work on this. It makes me wish they added these zombies to the non-Chinese version just to have more content lol
20:45 if it weren’t for the extra beats it would actually sound creepy
4:10 i like, how chad guard's face expression changed after lost guide zombie created a tunnel "hey yo. What have just happened. What is going on what a hell am i standing on"
This is the scariest thing I've seen in a kids game 20:35
12:10 the boys when new pvz2c analysis comes out
The thing with these videos is that, out-of-context, showing all of these zombies in swans of itself, they seem overpowered. I don’t know if they were made more rare to compensate. If there’s wave after wave where +5 Egg Pusher Imps and Riot Police Zombies appear, then it’s, put simply, broken in favor of the zombies.
The *came back to life* digger zombie gave me serious nightmares
The imps from mash stomp should be brought in the original but the eggs can only be the pterodatyl or egg shell imp
i get the feeling that Solar Car is one massive bug
like, being able to use a solar laser to destroy a plant when it's charged as opposed to just pushing makes much more sense than what it is now
accidentally swapped the attacks and never fixed it?
20:45 The PvZ 2 China CreepyPasta: “The Headless Digger”.
This is the best PvZ channel i have seen. Most PvZ channels don’t even upload now. Really interesting content btw.
Thank you!

11:30 "You can burn the egg and no dinos will spawn"
Well then excuse me folks im gonna cry about plants cruelty
21:03
IS A DEFINITION OF A HORROR GAME
amazing video again!!!!!!
really enjoyed it
I dislike how some plants get affected and unaffected in certain illogical ways from zombies. A poisonous mushroom who's covered in smoke still gets the job done when eaten, yet a chili bean can't do the same but has the same exact purpose? Makes total sense!
I'm starting to think that the Iceberg Lettuce has plot armor
I like how Digging Zombie is one of the few Chinese exclusive zombies that would logically be able to affect ground plants, yet is one of the few that can't
20:57 this should be a secret zombie just like the yeti
“Headless Digger Zombie”.
True tho
Riot Police Zombie and Solar Car Zombie are very random ideas to me, though they're very unique and clever ideas
At least they got that good
I am so glad that cerebrawl has a bass or else I’d be having nightmares about a REAL zombie
Nice I've been waiting for part 2
For some reason, Riot Police Zombie beating the plants with his baton makes him feel more disturbing for me.
if you know about Garden Warfare’s development, Foot Soldier was apparently supposed to be a RIOT Police Zombie, but was changed due to being “not funny enough”
no wonder. RIOT Police Zombie seems pretty brutal.
@@ExBronyPony
XD yeah I can imagine.
It's a chinese thing
If you try to have free speech the riot zombie comes to eat your brainz.
Like damn i thought this was a kids game 💀
The part where you showed the walking digger corpse genuinely freaks me out every time I watch it.
hey, are you going to also analyze special event zombies? like the children's day imps, the zombotanies, or the new fairytale world zombs?
Can you kill a glitched miner without a head? Or is he just invincible and guarantee game over?
You can kill him, he only has around 1hp.
I have some fanmade zombies made by me :
Lost City
Tribe imp - a tribe imp wears a mask of the golden thing in lost city it can be with bow and arrows or blow darts
Neon mixtape tour
Record player zombie - a record player zombie can play a song that stuns plants not making them attack ( yes its like boombox zombie but diffrent ) but when the record player gets destroyed the record player zombie will throw music discs at plants
Jurassic Marsh
Dino imp rider - it rides any dino ( except the pterodactyl )
Versions
Stegosaurus imp rider - basically throws imps like a catapult ( it can also throw rock(s) sometimes )
Raptor imp rider - eats plants in 1 - 5 bites
T-rex imp rider - stomps plants on 2 lanes
Ankylosaurus imp rider - smashes plants in 1 hit
Modern day
Dog walker zombie - walks dog(s) sometimes the zombie can have 1 - 7 dogs and if the zombie dies the dogs will scramble all arount the lanes
Taxi zombie - drops off 1 - 5 zombies
For Lost City, i kinda wish it's native tribe zombie instead adventurer zombie
13:51 Best moment in the video

BRUH THIS GAVE ME NIGHTMARES
I love how most of the budget is in Jurassic Marsh.
The details and animations are SOOO good.
Even the sprites are very consistent to the international version.
Sad that the quality stopped there though.
