What a BONAZA of finds! Some go a whole life-time without finding a single arrowhead, more or less a BOW! I noticed that one end of the bow broke off when you moved it; I hope you took it home with you to repair it. All your finds should be kept for others to see and enjoy. A nice legacy to leave to those you love and care for. ☺️
The bow is a super find..wood artifacts such as bows and rabbit sticks are reserved in the arid climates..it takes a trained eye to recognize them among the other sticks
Wooden artifacts can be found over 12,500 years old. Clay is a wonderful time capsule-and the ancient people knew that they had to char the wood so that it would last. The East Coast of the United States is full of ancient traditions and cultures, that unfortunately signed the treaties with the English before colonization really started to take hold. For that reason, they are not federally recognized and we destroy all mounds and sites all along the East Coast. We’ve been doing it for 300 years and we’re not stopping anytime soon.
Awesome.. next time I go to New Mexico I'm going to have to pay attention to points. I find pottery all the time. The terrain looks very much the same. Also grinding stones
@@richosthoff7212 I've hunted in similar looking terrain in New Mexico, and Arizona. Very little rain the ground soaks it up fast. But when it flash floods ya better remember how you got there.!
MICTLAN I've just found an CONGLOMERATE ARROWHEAD At. 11am Friday Morning JAT. 1st 2022 bro and it's perfect and Gorgeous made from a pudding stone bro 👍😃
If anyone would like to see some unknown mississippian artwork I made a video showing a bluff around my families land with a bunch of red paintings and 2 caves on my channel
I live on the border in Coahuila Mex. 20 miles from Del Rio Tx you can look for artifacts on the pecos river there should be artifacts on the banks of the river

@@closertohome-b7m I don't know, but it's mesquite root wood. I've seen bows like that in a museum, but they were taken from a cave. I don't think it's a simple curved stick.
@@closertohome-b7m That day I found more than 20 arrowheads. I haven't been back there for about 8 years. Since then it has rained a lot. There must be many arrowheads that were washed away by the rainwater. I think it's time to go back again.
