When I first visited the Island of Bohol, 25 years ago, I thought this would be the place to live if you were a foreigner. Wide open spaces, no shanty towns, no close neigbours, big houses, large land lots, beach front properties, fresh air, no factories, no constant burning, no karaoke, no constant barking dogs, no roosters, no constant beggars, no noise, no traffic. Just peace with a fairly small but modern city close by. You can get on a motorbike and travel around the island without fear of being killed by speeding lawless lunatics. Just a lot less agnst and people to deal with.
Change is inevitable. I see much change happening and I'm caught in the dilemma of being glad to see more jobs and a better living for people but the loss of the small town way of life for myself😐
@@AForeignerinthePhilippines you would know as a resident but the population of the Philippines is rising fast and your freedom is slowly disappearing but at our ages it's not going to be a big issue over 20 30 years.
Bought 800 sqm in Anda for 350000 peso inland, nice and flat and 500 sqm near Anda. Ocean front walled and gated for 4.75m. or about $6,000 and $82,000. Couple important things, finding ocean front and on National highway. No roosters, dogs or Karaoke.
No roosters dogs or Karaoke?
Are you really in the Philippines?😄😄😄
@@AForeignerinthePhilippines well they did have some karaoke for a birthday party last month. But I can live with a party or two.
😄😄😄👍
Ps. We have been lucky regarding the karaoke and I'm ok with the roosters but we are under siege by dogs which are a never ending bother.😐
Nice area
Good question, I've noticed that from vlog like this. An English-speaking community could be one of the reasons why I guess...
Good point!
No it is not........
Much of it isn’t , just her properties are usually higher but also she’s selling large areas usually
