    This was such a fun episode. I loved the dynamic between the Doctor and Rogue, I really hope we see more of him

    Never saw the Doctor so thirsty. It's going to be fun to see how Rogue will pop back up in the future.

    I dont think Bowlestrek will survive this one. I think this may be what finally transforms him into a literal pillar of salt. Solid 8/10 for me.

    The ending, coupled with Russell's comments, pretty much confirms we'll see Rogue again. I think Jack could be the person Rogue travelled with before! Or River... Lauren thanks for your reactions, again! There's certain reactors I'll always come back to. I really look forward to what you have to say! Anyway, here's to the finale 2-parter! 👍

    I'm pretty sure that the Doctor will find Rogue again. Because (1) the Doctor put on his ring, and (2) caught the bouquet at the wedding! Could Rogue be "the One Who Waits"?

    We never really se the Tardis fly or do anything. The Doctor throws a couple of switches, a little shaking & boom they arrive.

    So is Shalka Doctor now cannon (2003 animated webcast with richard e grant as the doctor, which was announced as the ninth doctor but after production of series 1 began it was no longer official)

    I think the Doctor has entered RomanFantasy genre this new season. This kind of drama detracts from any dramatic or tragic elements for me. Substantially waters it down. It's interesting that the Doctor is the seducer here, which is something new with the Doctor. Imagine if Chris Eccleston had made hot comments to Rose, or Matt with Amy (in this case it was Amy who was the seducer, at least attempted to be), or Capaldi looking at Clara with desire in his eyes ( I have no issues with older men/women with younger partners).

    Bring back Rogue and Jack so they can fight over the Doctor. :)

    Really hoping we do get a follow-up on the Rogue storyline, but I think that it might just be a one-off. And that's a shame.

    YES! Richard E. Grant played the Doctor in The Curse of the Fatal Death (well, one of the Doctors), I cannot believe that is canon now :)))))))

    • @MatgoStyles
      @MatgoStyles 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's not to do with The Curse of Fatal Death. He's in there because he played the official (at the time) 9th Doctor in the animated Scream of the Shalka in 2003. That was forgotten about because soon after Doctor Who was picked up as a TV series again.

    What happens to that mysterious traveler in time and space known as the Doctor? I'm sorry to say his story ends in absolute terror. Night-night!

    Yeah, I'd mentioned that with my friend also, that we've not seen 15 and Ruby just relaxing and starting adventures in the TARDIS. Like we've not seen them in the console room really at all since the first ep or so. And I remember that we still have 6 months of solely time travel that they had that we didn't see. So they bonded during all that time before Boom. But for the audience it just feels off because we want a show don't tell, and it's been mostly telling or assumed bonding. I certainly think the episode reduction is a big reason for that, but if we see any of that time during either of the finale eps, or even next season, then perhaps it wasn't wasted. But yeah, we don't get that and we haven't gotten that family time either than we had with all the relatives of the RTD 1 companions. I think that after the TARDIS materialized in the apartment, the next episode should have been one on earth with him hanging with her family. Things are just moving fast and it's weird when we're so used to learning and growing with the companions and seeing the relationship develop instead of having an assumed relationship. Like, Ruby hasn't earned that Best Friend title from the audience's POV even if she has in the story with allll the extra time we've not seen. I mean normally we know that there are many many adventures we don't see, but we've never had the first 6 months be what we've not seen. Though knowing RTD, I feel like all these things have reasons and he's going to show us a lot more connections than we expect with the finale and the next season. But yeah, this was such a fun episode!

    So Dr Who is basically just gay porn now?. I guess that’s why the ratings are the worse in the shows history dating back to 1963.

      @DanielMassey690 Yes but that was only exceptable because his home planet was destroyed and he only just remotely got out of the time war that was a great scene but now it's gotten really overboard and he's crying non stop in every episode and it starts to not only get irritating but boring too and it make the Doctor look like a doapy sook.
