When John wiped the board with the spark double Ugin at 11:14, his mycosynth encroaching should have been exiled from it, as it is blue. Probably would have changed the outcome of the game.
@@theaamanable well, on that turned he used karn's ability afterward and played 5 mana for tezzeret1, so he could have rectified this play by using karn's minus to retrieve the mycosynth and spend mana on it instead. THetrouble comes with whether that fabricate was drawn off the tezzeret's 2 draws or not since in this new reality small tezzeret wouldn'r hit the field

Loving the gameplay of Indominus Rex, fills a special hole in my heart as I can't play my Rex deck too often. Would you consider something like The Ozolith or Master Biomancer to give your non-commander creatures potential to threaten? I find some normal +1/+1 counter support goes a long way and can give lots of extra card draws off of the Rex. Just +1 attack gives your that coveted 3 turn clock on the commander as well.
Hearing you talk about your struggles with voltron I can try and give some help with because I play a similar eggs-in-one-basket type strategy with Skanos Dragonborn + cultist of the absolute. Typically I’ve found most success by using my general to focus down 1-2 players, and use beefy beaters (dragons in my case, keyword soup in yours) to focus down the other 1-2 players. Since you’re killing on 2 different axes spreading the love works quite well. The modern game is too fast to have a single creature kill 3 players unless you do something like extra turns or make the creature massive etc. also tainted strike and berserk go a long way in this strategy as well to be unexpected reach (that you can also use on opponents creatures)

@@yingyangman11 card reads 'Whenever a player attacks one of your opponents, if that opponent has more life than another of your opponents, that attacking player draws a card and you put two +1/+1 counters on a creature you control.' So if you attack multiple players with higher life, you get multiple triggers
Love Breena! When I was redesigning my orzhov pillowfort/spot removal/voltron deck she was a constant specter over my shoulder for commander, and seeing her here I may have to at least put her in my 99. (My only reservation is it appears she was also rally well piloted, and really well responded to, so I'm not sure how much is her and how much is player/pod quality) Also, I noticed a swap in card previews from TBD lands to CAP 👀

Andrew if your looking for a different Sultai commander the new one from OTJ might interest you, Felix Five Boot is basically Isshin but for damage triggers instead of attack triggers and you can build it in a lot of different ways
You are mistaken friend. Breena only needs that the player being attacked has more life than one of his opps. So in 6:11 for example booth players being attacked have more life than mat so that's triggers breena twice.
Maybe the issue is that you're focusing too much on Voltron, and Indominus isn't that good at it: 6/6 with no easy access to double strike really hurts him in that department. With all the creatures you were dumping into the graveyard, maybe you should consider a bigger focus on reanimation. You do have plenty of counterspells to protect your board after all.

Definitely strong and sounds fun. I love the amount of draw, removal it has and the confidant helps with the fact he got ahead life-total wise

So my Indominus Rex deck has a mass reanimator sub theme. So after I pick a ton of creatures, I can bring them all back for a smack attack!

Dusk Legion duelist only triggers once each turn and its only one card. Lots of extra draws for arca lol
I'm pretty sure the "draws three" is shorthand for "draws one each off of two Breena triggers and one off of putting counters on Dusk Legion Duelist"
Yeah I don't see any extra draws, just Breena drawing two cards herself + one from the Duelist.
The other cards were drawn from Breena. He can get two Breena triggers every combat by attacking the two opponents with the most life.
Boardwipes from the planeswalkers deck were excessive and boring.
