C5z Corvette thanks bud, I appreciate it. I’ve checked everything else in the belt drive to make sure nothing else is making noise. It’s just a small bump in the road.
Thank you for the info! I ended up doing this, and bought a Lisle spill free funnel. I believe we have solved the problem. We will be releasing an update soon.
I used a pulley removal set I had, but I got lucky and didn’t hurt the shaft. When I sent my blower in for rebuild at Jokerz performance, he said the shafts on these lt4 blowers are brittle, and break easily. If I were to do it over again, I would pay a shop to do it. With that being said, take care not to hurt the shaft or blower snout. It also messed up the stock pulley. This wasn’t a big deal to me, but it may be to other people.
You said the earlier lt4 blower had bad bearings, how early what years should we avoid? Thanks for time!
Dang man that sucks, hope you figure out the little issues your having.

What kind of service rebuilds superchargers, maybe a machine shop or engine shop?
Jokerz performance is who rebuilt this supercharger.
Pull your thermostat and pour coolant directly into the pump. If you have the belt off, give the pump a few spins by hand and it will burp

Was the supercharger completely silent after the rebuild? Just bought one with supposedly 10k miles but makes the same sound only quieter
It was pretty quiet, but I did find out that the bypass wasn’t connected, so that was part of my problem.
If you don’t mind. How much was the supercharger rebuild. I’m planning one putting on on my Gen 5 1981 c10 swap.
If I remember it was about $800. That was a year ago though.
Bro where did u sent it to ?
I sent it to Jokerz Performance to get it rebuilt. They did an awesome job getting it fixed up.
@@shortstackgarage2063 cool thanks bro 🙏🏼my pulley is literally stuck and not spinning no ideas Wth happened not even 1,000 miles on it
No problem, I would recommend him because he has been doing supercharger rebuilds for a while now.
How did you get the pulley off

So who make the proper tool?
