I appreciate these more endgame tutorials you have! I’m in my first play through and most everything online is focused on very early game so this is just what I need when I need it

@@RonEmpire I meant to ask too, I’ve been farming quite a few times and is the drop fucked? I dropped 1 leg and too many helm but no chest pieces and its always the same loot
While your set up didn't work as he kept destroying my turrets and galaxite spikes, the idea of poison spikes was 10000/10. After I died a few times setting up the poison spike locations, it drained the boss health so fast that all I needed to do was kite it (I've been trying to beat this boss on easy for 2 hours straight so this video has been a life saver)
Somebody else commented earlier a day ago saying the setup works fine for them. If you're triggering the boss to chase you, you're doing something wrong and you're too close. and not the 14 tiles away. I kill him 1 more times for the cypher parchment using a summon idol. I just used the iron bow and Firestaff. nothing fancy. only the poison skills from gardening.
Did you use my build and exact equipment. There hasn't been any new updates. So it is not possible to magically change that. You probably don't have high damage or poison applied.
I can confirm! It works like expected. You sure you follow his guide exaclty? are you more than 14 tiles away from the boss? did you use the right gear? I was able to kill him. If you got confused cause you see on the edge of the Screen the green healing effect this is normal... he still get healed a bit but his lifebar goes down indeed
How would you recommend someone create this setup for their initial fight against Igneous? I'm able to move around freely with the King Slime Crown and Royal Jelly, but because the boss is already there when you first find it (as opposed to needing to be summoned for every other time), the game won't let you place anything in the tiles immediately surrounding the summoning rune due to the tiles already being occupied by the boss. I tried placing the traps while evading the boss, but they just get uprooted when it lands on them.
If your damage is high enough you might not even need to use traps. Just stand back with the distance and shoot with the build. Check my morpha video guide. U don't need the traps if u have the build I showed
Amber Larva (legacy) and Giant Mushroom (legacy). Before they nerfed the permanent food consumption items. Back in early access for like a year they had it where you can consume as many permanent +max HP food items as you can find. So I did a video about how to find Amber Larva searching by creating new worlds and looking for them: th-cam.com/video/T1LYSQr2Z30/w-d-xo.html
It's supposed to cuz you're not in it's attack range. If he can't attack you he heals. But if you do more damage than his heal rate then he can be killed. That's why you want to do as much damage as possible. And apply poison to slow his heal.
From eating the old Amber Larva before they nerfed it. Watch my Amber Larva guide and you will see. Also my let's play where I grind for them on stream. (its actually 5500 but the well fed buff gets me pushed to 6k)
The spike traps really don't do much before. It was mainly used as a poison. You need the gear and talents. It just adds a little damage while you're attacking.
If the boss moved towards you then it might uproot the trap or if he puts slimes under the trap then the trap can take damage and uproots. But if you do exactly as show in video it works fine
@@RonEmpire I noticed that my son was trolling me, he was removing the traps with a scarlet hoe, thats why i couldnt kill it xD Haha kids. Your build indeed works fine. Thanks!
You can stand to the left and fight the same way he said. I just tried it like 20 mins ago and he stayed in one spot until he raged and I moved to dodge it and went right back to using the galaxite chakram that I upgraded 4/5 times

@@LostSilentStar you don't need any of the spikes or traps. Watch my live hard world let's play where I just kill off screen easily. Minimal gear.

I do not think this works anymore. The boss will constantly heal to full if you're too far away and he will always move around if you're too close

try using some consumables, food and potions
